It's not every day that you see a Belgian Sheepdog running around a theme park. Especially one who had the oddest eyes you can ever find. The right, a deep sea blue, and the left an emerald green. They shimmered with interest. Kjara has never been to an amusement park, and her rapidly beating heart would never end with the large roller coasters and games that surrounded the dog. Only a few people would stop and give a double take when they caught site of her eyes. There were ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ and ‘Oh! Mommy can we take her home?!’ But she knew that wouldn’t happen. What they do if they found out the dog they intended to take home suddenly changed before their eyes and a fifteen year old girl stood before them, instead of the golden haired dog? They’d freak, just like everyone else. Well, not really. Everybody at Winterthrone academy was gifted. Literally. The teachers, the students. Kjara was surprised the animals that ran around the grounds weren’t gifted. That’d be a sight to see. A bat flaming a cat. Or.. whatever bats do to cats. Bright lights and smells caught her attention. It was a dark and chilly night as Kjara paced around. She wasn’t really supposed to be here. She had to study for a test tomorrow morning, but she didn’t feel like it and wanted to go take a look around the places she hasn’t been yet. Not including the fact that she had to work in the morning. But she couldn’t complain though. It was great working with your best friend at a café. The place was so cute and quiet. Except when Adalyn was working. Everybody looked at her like a piece of meat. It sometimes made Kjara sick when her best friend got the attention, and sometimes would gig the men who whispered about her.
She knew she could read minds, but it was obvious of what the men were talking about. Shaking her head, she blocked everything that brought anger or sadness up on her. But she didn’t need to worry about being sad or depressed, because the next thing she knew, she was sent flying in the air. Half landing on her side and on her head, a whimper came out from her throat. Blood pooled from her forehead where the concrete and skin came in contact. She struggled to stand, but it hurt to put pressure on her left paw, and she collapsed with pain erupting in her ribs and head. Her vision became fuzzy, and she wondered what happened until she heard a cackle. Opening her eyes, she saw a group of three boys bending over and laughing. “Nice one!” said one as he complimented the tallest of the three. Maybe boys from the local public school. A normal kid. It hurt to take a deep breath, so she took small ones. ”We’ll see what’s nice when I kick your ass.” she growled as she painfully stood up, her eyes watering and blood dripping from her tongue and head as she pulled back her lips and snarled. Boy did she look scary! As the boys back up in fear, the tallest one glared at her. ”She’s one of the Winterthrone freaks!” but he wasn’t leaving. He came closer, his steel toed boots rose in the air, and Kjara prepared to be kicked again. For a few minutes, she completly forgot that she could have easily changed into something bigger. Like a polar bear or a lion. But that would risk exposing her and the children at school. But, red covred her sight as rage ran through her veins. For once, she would go for the kill, and not regret it unlike her other expreiences. These boys better be good with their god, because only he can save them, unless a miracle happened and Kjara wanted to be nice and let them beat her to death. But, that wasn't going to happen. Not today.

There was only so much you could do in the area around the castle that was home to many...let's say, talented, people. There was a village nestled between the mountains of Germany, and then some attractions in the outskirts of said village. Things like a mall, a theme park, movie theaters, and an abandoned amusement park. There was also alleys and a hospital. But those weren't attractions...those were just there. But with all the things that were in the village and in the outskirts, you'd think that there would be something, really, to do. But apparently there wasn't, because Adrien Killingston was pretty much dying of boredom. He didn't have anything he wanted to do in particular. He didn't feel like playing music today, which really was a surprise, but he had his iPod on, because music was always there for him to listen to. As he walked down the road towards the amusement park, words came from his mouth in the form of music, his singing was good, really. He loved singing, loved music.
He walked into the busy amusement park and looked around. He wasn't much for crowds, but there wasn't that much problem here. It may be a pretty fun place, but only little kids wanted to come here for rides. Teens came just to do a bunch of shit and just have fun. It wasn't about the rides for them. No, they were "hard-core" and didn't do rides. Weirdos. There were a bunch of those types hanging around today, he noticed. And none of them had looks that seemed in any way....content. The faces that passed by him had about seventeen piercings, black hair, emo swept bangs, and some even had eyeliner, for the guys, even. It was a wacked up world these days, when guys wore makeup for everyday life. Movies was different. In movies, guys wore makeup all the time. But everyday? No, but it was all the rage now. Woohoo. Like that would make Adrien want to freaking wear eyelinger. No thank you.
Adrien had just passed another group with fifteen piercings and makeup, when he head a yelp behind him. It most definitely wasn't a yelp that could ever come from a human, and it most definitely wasn't a yelp of pleasure. It was a hurt yelp, and it came from a dog behind him. He whirled around to see the same guys that had just passed him standing, leering, over a dog that was whimpering in pain. The dog had two different colored eyes, he noticed. Really, it wasn't as odd an occurrence as most people thought. Adrien himself loved animals. Then again, it was a good thing, seeing as how he could talk to them, and shapeshift, as well. This dog was interesting. It was a Belgian Sheepdog, something you definitely didn't see everyday, even in the German mountains. The dog attempted to stand, but he could tell it was hurt. The dog spoke. Then again, he could understand it anyways. The dog looked angry as the boys didn't leave, and continued to leer over the poor thing.
Enraged, Adrien ran forward at the boys. Okay, so he didn't have that much muscle. He was skinny and tall. These guys had some muscle. More than him anyways. But he had his powers on it side. Okay, so it wasn't a good idea to use his powers here, but he had learned a way to manipulate the air so that it seemed as if he had a bunch of power, and the victim would go flying. And so quickly that he wouldn't have time to realize it was air- wind- that had hit him. With a raised fist, he punched the guy in the front using that strategy. And sure enough, the guy went flying. Really, that was the first time he had used that in an uncontrolled setting, and he was extremely glad that it had worked. The other guys looked back at their fallen leader, and fled. "Go fucking bother someone else!" He shouted at them as they left. Good riddance. He muttered loudly, angrily, in his second stage anger. He hated those guys. They may not completely know it, but he did. He crouched low over the dog, his eyes blazing in anger at those guys. "Shh...are you okay?" He whispered to the dog, speaking to it in it's own language. It was a whisper so that nobody would be able to hear him, and call him a freak. Like he didn't already know that. [/blockquote]

She thought they were leaving, but she wasn't sure. Rage filled her vision as she watched some stranger come up out of no where, and sent one flying with one a swing of his fist. When he bent down to her, he didn't speak the language that you would usually hear. It was People language. Animals. Kjara called them People. Don’t ask, it’s another story. Anyways, her blue and green eyes locked on his, and her body collapsed onto the guy. But it wasn't the body of a dog, it was a girl that fell into his arms. Her lip was swollen, and a dribble of blood fell out of her parted lips. As she opened her eyes and tried to sit up, her hand landed on his, and she flinched looking up. It was Adrien Killingston, a shape shifter like Kjara from school. But, he was a demon, not human like her. Her heart fluttered as her hand was on his and she nodded. " I'm fine. Thank you." she struggled to stand, but gave up when the pain was too much to handle. You've got to be kidding me. I can handle whippings from a Nine Tailed cat but not a kick from a steel toed boot?, obviously not. She didn't have a bruised rib or a sprained wrist at that time of that whipping, but obviously, getting kicked hurt much worse. And, she could actually breathe at that time she received those lashes. She noticed she was at the amusement park, and she sighed.
”Fuck.” she was in broad daylight, and she just let normal ungifted people see that she had the ability to change into almost any living creature in the world. Sometimes, she got a bit carried away, and would be an elephant in the middle of the cafeteria, or a polar bear on the shores of Honolulu, Hawaii. She could be one of those random chicks who wanted the attention around her, but at this moment she only wanted to run and hide in a small corner away from all the eyes that watched her and Adrien on the ground.
She had heard of this Adrien around school. He and Kjara weren’t the only shape shifters around. There was Blake, Emery, and a few others. But, she couldn’t help but admit, she was pretty pissed because she wanted to be the one and only shape shifter around the school. But most of the others were limited. Kjara can go all wild and out and combine things together. You could say she was something special. How many shape shifters do you see changing into mythological creatures? Huh? Huh?! Exactly. You don’t. She wasn’t, y’know, bragging or anything, but not a lot of people can change into a dragon can they?! Nope.
She wiped the blood from her lips, not noticing the warm sensation on her head. A rock was stuck inside the wound, and who knew what else. Just hope no infectious disease was going around. She could possibly get aids or hiv! Naaaahh. Gotcha! There wasn’t anything under that shallow cut except a few pieces of dirt. No biggie. It was her ribs and sprained wrist that she was worried about. How would she run around the lake and forest, or fly with her nocturnal friends? She would worry about that later.
”Do you mind helping me up? I really need to get out from under these staring eyes.” she looked up at Adrien, her blondeish hair sticking to her head. She gave a smile, and apologized.

Adrien knew that there were other shapeshifters at the school. Some of them had it as an extra power, like he did, some had it as their only. And some only had limited shapeshifting, only being able to change into specific creatures. But Adrien had it as a full power, even if it was pretty much his secondary one. His weather control came first, because it was so much more explosive, and harder to control. For some reason, shapeshifting was easier for him, but he still felt it as a secondary power, simply because it was the one power he had that he had near complete control over. Of course, he didn't have complete control over it. Sometimes, he randomly turned into something. Mostly at the worst times to do it, too. But he could turn into any animal, pretty much. But mythological creatures? Nope. There were some limits to what he could do, and ancient creatures of myth and fables? Don't think so.
Adrien was surprised when the dog suddenly transformed into a girl, and even fell over onto him. He should've thought that the dog, which was odd to see here, would be another shapeshifter. Oh well. He recognized her as Kjara von Rael, who was a human. He nearly made a scathing comment about that, but then he remembered that Dani would kill him. Not that he had to obey her, but he wasn't a full demon anymore, and making a remark about humans would be against him now, because he was half human, as he had found out several days ago. The girl attempted to sit up, and her hand fell on top of his. That's when she truly looked up at him. "You don't look fine. And you're welcome." It felt odd, to be saying nice things to humans. But, unless he wanted to become deaf by Dani, who had helped him when he learned the fact he was human, he would have to . And he did not want to be deaf. That would ruin his music. Kjara attempted to stand, and he watched her carefully, but all too soon she fell down again, back onto him. "Hey, you definitely aren't fine if you can't stand back up." He told her, worry in his eyes.
When she uttered the curse, that's when Adrien truly noticed that they were in broad daylight, in an amusement park. Kjara had just changed in front of the normal humans that didn't like the Winterthorne kids. The humans that ignored the fact that there were gifted....beings in the world. But they were watched him and Kjara right now, shock in their eyes. "Shit. We gotta get out of here." He muttered angrily. The hate for those kids still blazed in his eyes. They hurt this girl, someone that had done nothing to them. Sure, they didn't know it was a girl, but they had even hurt an animal. That was the cruelest part they did, and he hated it. "Shit, shit shit." He muttered angrily under his breath. He looked up at the people again, before looking down at Kjara.
Adrien was about to say pretty much the same thing, but Kjara had beaten him to it. "Yeah, we need to get outta here." He said, placing her arm around his neck, and wrapping his arm around her back to grasp her waist, the easiest way to move her, besides picking her completely up and carrying her bridal-style in his arms. He stood up, slowly and carefully, to allow her time to stand as well, even though he helped her up as he stood. "Where to?" He asked her, walking slowly away from the crowd, as they stared at the two, fear and hate burning in their eyes. [/blockquote]

She knew she wasn't fine. She could hardly breathe. She nodded as he spoke. "Yeah, you're right. I'm not good." but as he started to pick her up, she bit her lip and whimpered in pain. It hurt so fucking bad. When she got her hands on those littel spoiled rotten brats.. her fists clenched. When she looke dup, she felt her heart beating rapidly. The people were starting to whisper now, and pointing. The crowd was getting larger too. But when he asked where too, she shurgged. "Anywhere." her eyes searched the fair grounds, hoping to find a place where there was no one around, where no eyes could peer at the two gifted teens. The blue and green eyes were pouring over with tears. Why the hell was she crying. She didn't know if it was embrassment, anger, or sadness. Maybe it was all three, with a few more dropped in there. She wiped her eyes with her other wrist, and she spotted a small hot dog stand. HEr stomach grumbled and she laughed nervously. "I can't really see anywhere." but she spoke too soon. Ahead of the two of them, lay a small bench. It was away from the peering eyes, and also in the dark. She looked at him, then at the bench. "There is fine. The only place I can think of is out of the park, and I paid money to get in here."
Trying not to put much weight on him, she leaned a little to the left. Didn't want him too have to struggle all the way. She could at least try to make it seem like she was okay. But it was obvious she was not. Sprained wrist, bruised rib, a still bleeding forehead, and a angry face. Oh yea, so totally obvious. As she sat on the bench, she held her waist and smiled at Adrien. "Thanks. I really appriciate that." she turned her head away from his eyes, and looked around the park. "You go to the Winterthrone Acadmey don't you? I've seen you there before."
[ugh sorry. no muse at all.]

Adrien knew that it wasn't a good idea to move people that were hurt. But even if she did keep the girl still to wait for a medic, they wouldn't want to touch her. The people would tell him what they were, and the medic would only stare, disgusted at the two. The villagers knew of the creatures and beings of Winterthorne, and generally knew what they were, but they never accepted it. They didn't like them, and never had. It was a good thing, though, that others didn't really believe the stories of shapeshifters and werewolves the villagers told to outsiders and outsiders told their friends and family. If they believed...then the world would be an chaos. The students and staff of Winterthorne would probably be killed out of fear. Nobody wanted to accept them, and they didn't. They were despised by all, and would never, ever be accepted by the normal people.
But he had to move the girl. No matter how much she hurt, nobody would touch her, none from here. And he couldn't contact anybody from Winterthorne from here. He had left his cell phone back in the dorm, and there probably wasn't a signal out here anyways. So a healer from the castle was impossible. He'd just have to somehow get the two to the castle to get her healed, and checked out. Actually, checked out first, healed second. Just in case any bones were broken, they couldn't be healed crooked. The crowds around them whispered louder, pointing, growing larger, attracting attention. Just what they needed. "Fuck those nasty little boys. Those shitheads!" He muttered angrily, nearly shouting the cusswords. He noticed, with satisfaction, that the mothers put their hands over the ears of the children at the cusses that were uttered by his mouth. Hah. Too late, by the time that he voice was drowned out, the words there already out, and running through the kids' minds. Perfect. "Anywhere doesn't help." He told her as they hobbled off. The eyes followed them, but the bodies did not, luckily for them.
A grin crossed his lips as they passed a hot dog stand, and a soft rumbling could be heard. So the girl was hungry, apparently. But they weren't going to stop. He might grab something after everything had settled down, but not now. "I don't either." Was his simple, short reply. But then, all to soon, a bench was there. Really, it seemed like it had transported there, but it had only been hidden by shade. "That's fine. And I had to pay, as well. They've too good a security system to be able to hop the fence." He said as they hobbled over. He noticed that Kjara attempted to rest her weight to the left, away from him. Okay, so he wasn't the strongest in the world, but he could carry a girl. He could do that much. "Hey, you shouldn't do that. It could seriously hurt you." He said as she slipped her arm from around his neck, sitting down. He stood over her for a second, making sure she was okay. Looking at the cut on her forehead, he noticed a rock there. He bit his lip and sat down next to her, but turned his body back towards her. "No problem. I'm a big animal lover, so I could always help a cute little dog." He shrugged with a grin, attempting to cover the rage that burned within him. The wind around them picked up as he thought back on what happened, his rage burning more and more, and the wind around them responding by howling around them. "Yeah, I do." He muttered, clenching his fists, closing his eyes, attempting to bring down his temper, but failing. [/blockquote]

"Temper, temper." she teased as she watched his closed fists with intrest. She has heard of his outragous breakouts, and she wasn't really good with calming down others. Awuh, he was an an-ne-mal lover just like her. She smiled in return. "Animals are my life. Closer to me than my own kind." she knew, by saying "kind", that she was stating she was a human, like all the ones around her. But just a tad bit different. Okay, so, maybe not a tad. Maybe a whole fucking difference because she could only talk to animals, she could change into them, and hello! she can fucking change into a dragon! Yeesh.
She looked at him. Really looked at him. His hair fell into his eyes, and she noticed she wore a hoodie. She looked down at her appearance, and was grateful that she wasn't one of the shifters who change back butt naked. She could change without worrying about having to be butt ass naked in front of everybody. She felt his eyes lingering over her, and a flush rose to her cheeks. But when he started to flip out again, Kjara panicked and grabed his hand. "Hey. Adrien. Look at me." when he looked at her, she frowned. "Chill out. Take a deep breath, and close your eyes." her face looked sturn, as if she knew what she was doing. "In your nose slowly, out your mouth slowly. It works. I have to do it." she smiled shyly. " I have some problems of my own." she twidled her thumbs, hoping her small talk would at least start to calm Adrien down. What we didnt need was one pissed demon who like to hurl things in the air. She flashed a true smile up at him, looking so 'innocent.' She put the effort off of trying to be sweet and shrugged.

Adrien pretty much felt like wringing her neck at that comment. Okay, not really, but that comment about his temper wasn't exactly that best one to make at that point. He did have a temper, it wasn't something that was hidden. Most people of the school, those that someone knew him, knew of his temper. A bad temper with control over weather? Not a good combination. Hell, you'd never knew what you'd get. Sometimes there might be rain, other times snow. And, if he was really, really, really angry? Probably a thunderstorm would form over your head. But one constant factor was wind. Wind always raged around him as he did. It was odd that it did, but perhaps it was because it was the easiest to create, trap, control, in general, although it was very unpredictable.
"Well, I don't know about closer than everyone else like us, but I really do like animals. Although, it's a good thing, being a shapeshifter and able to talk to animals. It'd be really bad to have those powers and hate animals." He replied with another forced grin. He wasn't lying, but his mind couldn't help but drift back to the stupid guys that had hurt this girl. And that caused his mind to rage, and pretty much unable to give a true grin. Hey, it wasn't his fault that he got really angry easily. Blame his family, and his mom. It was probably their fault anyways. And did those boys have to hurt Kjara? No, they did not. Everything in this situation was someone else's fault. The boys for making him mad in the first place, and his family, the genes he had, for him being easy to anger.
Adrien was surprised when Kjara grabbed his hand. Expected? Hell no. She told him to look at her, so he did. She frowned a little when he did so. Then again, his eyes were glaring, and seemingly at her. He wasn't though. It was the rage he currently held for those guys that made him glare. As the wind raged around them, he really wished there was something nearby that he could throw. Throwing things really helped his rage, but the only things around, really, were the bench and Kjara. He most definitely wasn't going to throw the bench, because it had to be more comfortable than the ground below them, and throwing Kjara was definitely not allowed. One, she was a person. Throwing somebody through the air, via air, was not a good idea. Two, she was a girl, and she was hurt. The fact that she was a girl really was number one. He probably wouldn't have thought about that if he had been with some dude, but she was a girl. And she was hurt, which would definitely prevent him from throwing her. Heck, he wouldn't throw anybody that was hurt around, not unless they were the one to piss him off. Then he probably would.
"What?" He snapped, then cringed. Crap, he hadn't meant to be so rude to her. Wait, she said his name. He most definitely hadn't told her, so that meant that she knew of him. Then again, most people that had the same, or at least similar, powers, generally knew of each other, at least. The same way that he knew of her. But he still hadn't meant to snap at her. When she told him to chill, he attempted to. He attempted to clear his mind...but it still didn't work. He didn't know why he was doing what she told him, but it just sorta felt...right. She seemed pretty mature. Then again, most that had to live here away from their parents were pretty mature. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes, following her instructions. She seemed to know what she was doing, in her attempts to calm him down. He followed her instructions for breathing. It calmed him down a bit, the wind most definitely calmed some, but not a lot. Trying again to erase the thoughts of the guys.....just made him think of them again, and the wind tore at their skin, fierce and not relenting. Adrien started to shake in anger, his eyes closed, breathing as Kjara instructed him to, but the wind rocketing around them, going crazy. The grass below them whistled in the wind that moved about, angrily, and Adrien at the center of it all."Fuck those idiots!" Adrien nearly screamed in anger, but simply said it loudly...a bit too loud than was necessary. [/blockquote]

[/b] she whistled again till he looked back at her. Take a deep breath. Do it again.” she squeezed his hand. ”Just listen to me, and close your eyes.” then she added, ”Please?”She hoped this would work. It helped her out, it helped her brother out, and even her best friend from home. ”I want you to imagine your favorite place. Like the beach. You’re sitting on a large boulder on the shore, watching the sun set in front of you. There was only one star in the sky, and the weather is temperate. The sun has a golden hue to it, and out in the distance, you see a pod of dolphins making their afternoon run for dinner.” she stopped for a second, hoping this was working out. They did not need the attention of one pissed off demon who could control the weather, and most likely change into a grizzly bear and rip someone apart. Not a good thing to happen. Especially if they have already been noticed when Kjara changed. But she couldn’t stay in a canine form when hurt, she wouldn’t heal right. ”It’s not exactly warm outside, because it’s the beginning of spring. The wind has a biting chill to it, and the water if obviously cold. The seagulls are not close by, but you can hear their squalls, but you’re not listening to what they are really saying.” she eyed him again, and gave a small smile. ”Now keep that in your head. Try to smell the salt in the air; hear the sea gulls.”She remembered when her adopted mother had taught her this trick. It helped her through a lot of troubled times, but there was the one that could never be helped. For a second it seemed, she was zoned out with the memory. The hands touching her, prying in places she has never been touched before. The constant pain from both the beating and the rape. Her heart started to beat rapidly, and her breath came in quickly. But the pain from her bruised sides brought her back when she grabbed her rib cage, and bit down on her lip. People wondered why she was so annoying at some times. It was because she knew if she didn’t care for people, then the things like being raped, and having her fiancé dying wouldn’t happen. No worrying if someone would die on her, or get beat up by someone. But, of course, things didn’t work out that way. She loved, she cared, she hated. It was not all that simple, but it was the way life ways. She looked up at Adrien, not saying how she knew his name. Wasn’t it obvious? She could talk to animals, he could talk to animals, and well, the animals know who this or that person is. Some animals like to chatter a lot too. [/size][/ul][/left]

Adrien's temper was probably the worst one in the school. Sure, there were plenty with tempers around the school, but Adrien definitely was in the top ten of worst tempers. His had been classified into three stages, pretty much. Mostly by his friends. First stage was probably the part where you started to leave. He'd sit and glare at anything around. Second stage, he glared and muttered angrily, with the occasional outburst of words, usually relating to what he's angry about. And that was usually when the wind started, but the wind truly was killer in his third stage, as it was called. He was usually sitting and glaring again, but had more occasional outbursts of words. But even more common was him throwing things across the room, or wherever he was. He'd throw things, breaking them. Of course, they were usually just small things, things that could easily be replaced. But the satisfaction of those things breaking usually brought down his temper. But that couldn't, and wouldn't happen here. There were only two things near enough for him to throw, and the reasons for those things not being able to be thrown had already been stated.
An annoyed face covered Adrien's face as the whistle pierced the air. It didn't stop, and soon enough, he looked over at Kjara, annoyance obvious on his face, but then relaxed it. Frankly, he was pretty surprised that she hadn't run away, freaking out by the wind that nearly shredded the grass around them. An odd feeling jolted through his heart as she squeezed his hand again. It was an odd feeling, something he hadn't felt before, but he shook his head, ridding the sensation of that feeling from his head and heart. He nodded, and took another deep breath. He really didn't feel like being so angry, not around her, but just the thought of those idiots...NO! He couldn't think of them again. "I'll try." He muttered, closing his eyes.
He concentrated on her voice, doing his best not to thing of anything else, especially trying not the think about the thing that made him mad. He started to think about what would be his favorite place, but then that idea was squashed as she made him think of the beach. Okay, the beach wasn't his favorite place. It was a girl's favorite place, but not his. But he did enjoy the beach. It wasn't something that he would say no to if offered a trip there, but it wasn't his favorite, even though he didn't know yet what his favorite was. He nodded silently to her words, concentrating on imaging himself there. But the weather temperate? Highly doubted that. He'd make sure of that, but he went along with what she said. Aawuh, he didn't like non-warm temperatures. He liked the warmth, which was why he usually brought along some warm wind with him when he stepped outside the castle or any building.
Ugh. Seagulls. Okay, he was an animal lover, loved changing into, and talking to, animals, but seagulls? They were the gossip girls of all animals. They talked and talked and talked, never caring about the fact they were chattering the listener's ear off, or anything. They'd tell you everything they knew, even things they didn't know. They had all the gossip, all the rumors, facts, and just plain out their ideas about things. Seagulls were the one reason that he sometimes disliked the fact he could understand animals, because they talked way too damn much. So much it was really annoying. But he disregarded that, and just pretended the seagulls weren't actually there. But everything else, he did attempt to imagine. The wind started to die down, but it still swirled lazily around them. Most of the swirling wind was the warm wind that kept Adrien warm, but some of it wasn't, but the rest left definitely was a lot less savage than it had been. He took another deep breath, and opened his eyes, looking over at Kjara with a grin. [/blockquote]

[/b] she shrugged. ”I didn’t know where you like to be at, so I made one up. That one is my favorite.” she looked at the Ferris wheel around the corner and shuddered at the though of falling from that. But, she wouldn’t have to worry. She could just shift and fly. The lights were very pretty. Greens, blues, reds, whites. The music filled her ears, and she looked around for the source. Of course, it was at some stand back towards the entrance, but it was a lovely song. She watched couples of old and young dance around a small wooden stage, and her heart melted. They all looked so darn romantic. A young girl around her twenties was dancing with an older man, and the look in the girl’s eyes sent her heart racing. That girl was in love. The way she looked at the man, it was as if she neither saw nor heard anything around her, except for that man and the words he spoke to her. They spoke, “I love you.” And she smiled. ”That is one thing that amazes me. Love.” she knew it came out of nowhere, but it was true. Kjara has been in love before. Oh yes she has. It happened like she would never imagine. But it ended so soon. As she watched the young couple dance, she felt a sudden overwhelming sensation of sadness. But she looked away from them, not wanting to think of that old memory. But instead, she thought of the ball she intended. It was held for her brothers seventeenth birthday. It was so much like the dance at Winterthrone. But, all the girls wore long, puffy dresses. She remembers her so well. Her hair was darker then, and she still hadn’t received her little tattoos. Still the young and innocent Kjara. She remembered swirling on the dance floor, her hands on her father’s shoulders. It was one of the best days of her life. Looking at Adrien, she asked, ”You okay?” her eyes were filled with worry, hoping he was finally calmed down. She felt warmth on her hand, and looked down, and remembered that she grabbed Adrien’s hand to get his attention. She blushed a crimson red, thankful for the darkness. She let go slowly. ”Sorry.” she whispered quietly. ”Physical touch usually helps the imagery.” she shrugged and held her sprained wrist. ”That’s what mom told me anyways.”[/size][/ul]

Really, you could consider him lucky that she had been there. Well...it was part of her being there that started the whole anger thing...but still, if she wasn't there....well, let's just say that that ferris wheel might have been relocated elsewhere. Or worse. Who knew what would've happened if Kjara hadn't been there to help calm him down. He was lucky that she had apparently had anger issues before too, or else she wouldn't have had known how to help calm him down. Funny, how when you have anger issues, and you think the ways they calm you down are crappy, and yet, when someone else is angry, it helps them. The world worked in weird ways, and that was proof of how odd the world was. "Ah, well, thanks. The beach would be among my favorites. I honestly couldn't say where my favorite place would be. Probably somewhere playing guitar and singing, though." He told her, sighing and leaning back against the bench.
He watched the lights of the attractions as they danced and moved, twirling around, spinning, doing whatever that ride did. Other lights flashed, in patterns and free style. Some music came from some rides, but one song blared above the others, coming from stereos, a live show. Couples danced on a wooden platform. Young and old, all dancing together. Frankly, it disgusted Adrien. Love. Hah. The only love existed with the older couples. Young love? It was a myth, a fable. It wasn't real. Not to him. He knew what happened to his mom when she was twenty. That was the reason he was here. Not to mention what happened a couple of years ago. Ugh. Horrid. He didn't trust anybody with his heart. Love wasn't real, not anymore. It may have been at one point, but no longer. People thought they were in love, but then they found out they weren't. It was all stupid. "Mmm.." was his simple reply to her words. Ugh.
He had once thought he had been in love. Then again, he had been a hormonal teenager. Well, he still was a hormonal teenager, but not so much as he had been then. He had thought he loved that girl, what he thought was the most beautiful girl in the world. They had dated, thinking that they both loved each other. They had thought that they loved each other a lot. They had sex, of course. Hey, who wouldn't? But apparently, he had inflicted too much pain on her, and she gave it right back to him. She broke it off, leaving him with a torn heart. He had thought he loved her, she had thought she loved him, but love was nothing. Just an imagined feeling. That was when he realized that fact, and didn't love again. No way.
Adrien was a bit spaced out, thinking of nothing in particular, but of the past days, of how they changed his life. "Huh?" Was his response, blinking at her, processing the words in his mind. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine." He answered with a grin. The only air around them now was the warm air trapped, and then the cold air, which they couldn't feel, behind that barrier of warmth. He hadn't noticed that they were still holding hands until she slipped her hands from his. He felt his cheeks get warm, and he coughed. "Oh, no. It's okay..." What could you say to that? It was a hard thing to reply to..."Oh, okay. Well...yeah, that's okay...whatever.." He finished lamely. How the crap were you supposed to respond to something like that? Oh well. Hopefully his answer would be good enough... [/blockquote]

Kjara watched Adrien closely, noting how he reacted to her words and the dancing couples. He had a look of disgust on his face. Does he hate love? How could someone hate love. It was an amazing thing, to know that a person cared about you more than life itself. They would do anything to help you in your worst problems. They would hold you while your cry, kiss you while you sleep, and hold you during cold nights. Speaking of coldness, she noticed that the air around them was warm. And she could have sworn that the wind was just blowing a tad bit cooler than what was surrounding the two students. She rubbed her head, flaking dried blood off onto her hand. I need to get cleaned up. She looked over at Adrien, not wanting to bug him any more than she already was. ” I’m glad for your help, I really am. But I need to go to a restroom to get cleaned up. Again, I thank you.” she gave him one last smile, and painfully stood up. It took her breath away, but she hoped she didn’t show it. Taking a few steps, she stumbled, holding her head. Uh oh. Not good. Um, better yet, do you mind helping me, please?” she turned back to Adrien, her face pale. ” I’m not feeling that well, and I would like to find a restroom as soon as possible.”
She walked back to Adrien, and lay her hand on the bench, her eyes on his face. She recalled how he had blushed when she apologized about holding his hand. Honestly, she wouldn’t mind holding hands with him. She flushed when she remembered how soft his hands were, and how they were so much bigger than her tiny hands. She rubbed her thumb over her pointer finger, listening to the music waiting on his reply. She turned her head as a trash can fell to the ground, her hair swinging, and the sapphire necklace catching one of the lights on the Ferris wheel. When she looked at the trash can, she saw that it was only two teenage girls hooting and hollering about some random shit. Of course, they were the average human being, no super powers or anything. But when they eyed Adrien, a growl came up to her lips. What the hell? Why was she being so protective? But with one glare from her bi-colored eyes, the girls walked off. Ignoring the fact that she just became super protective over Adrien, she cleared her throat and thought of something else.
No her hunger though. Her stomach growled again quietly, but she pushed it out of her mind. She noticed it was cold again, and she shivered, with only a small and white turtle neck with light blue denim jeans. Dark fur colored boots covered her feet. Just so you know, they were fake. She doesn’t find comfort in wearing real animal furs and things of the sorts. That thought gave her the chills.

Adrien continued to stare at the lovey-dovey couples, not noticing that Kjara was studying him and his reactions to the dancing couples. He knew that girls were always fantasizing about love, about true love. Of about who their lover would be, and what he would be like, and crap like that. They would only date dark-haired guys, only sweet guys, only biker guys, and other crap like that. Or some girls wanted other girls, or both guys and girls, but the principle was the same; wanting this specifically in the other gender. Then they'd find a person like that, date them, do whatever, and then end up with a broken heart. It happened all the time, and people just didn't understand that they were the ones at fault, creating a small area only a few number a people could fit in. It was completely stupid. No wonder true love was pretty much nonexistent.
Adrien looked up at Kjara as she spoke. "Oh, yeah. Okay, and no problem. I mean, I would help any hurt animal. Heck, even if you weren't an animal, I would've helped ya." He watched her with concerned eyes as she stood, trying to hide the fact that she couldn't breath very well. But she didn't hide it well, considering the fact that he could see it. As she stumbled, he quickly reached out, grabbing her arm to steady her. He definitely didn't want her falling, because she seemed quite weak already, and falling could make worse injuries than what she already may have. He shook his head. "I don't mind helping you. I wouldn't leave a girl like you alone anywhere, but especially at an amusement park at night, where anything could happen." And it was true. Anything could happen. Sure, upon normal circumstances, she could probably handle herself, but she was already hurt, which put her at a disadvantage. "Do you just wanna get up to the school? I'm sure a healer or teacher could help you..." He trailed off, waiting for her response.
As he waited, he studied her. Dried blood could be seen on her forehead, even in the dim lighting. But other than that, she seemed, on the outside, pretty okay. But he knew there were other damages she had, he just didn't know what it was. As a trash can flipped over, his head snapped over in that direction. But he was sorely disappointed to see what might be hiding there, because it was only two teenage girls. Probably high. That or they were drunk. Complete idiots, too. Okay, so he drank, but doing drugs? He hated that. Alcohol was classified as a drug, but it wasn't the same, no to him. But actually drugs were disgusting, and he was sad when learning that some of his friends did them. He couldn't stop them, but drugs were horrid, in his eyes, anyways. The girls were yelling out, being loud, annoying. He also noticed that the girls were looking towards them..well, mostly him. They were pretty attractive, he couldn't deny it. Sure, they were normal, but like that truly mattered. But he was put off by a low growl from Kjara. He looked over at her, confused. And a glare sent the girls away. What the hell? Why the shit was she being so protective over him? It was...weird, but oddly enough, it sent another jolt through him.
He shook the thoughts from his head as she noticed that as he had been staring off, some of his warm airs disappeared. Which sucked. He hated cold weather, and he was never properly dressed for it. Oh, sure, he wore a hoodie, like always, but the hoodie wasn't thick enough to protect him from the cold of the mountains. It was more a fashion thing than for warmth and comfort. He shivered as he looked over at Kjara. "Hey, are you okay? Too cold? Hungry? Need anything?" He was concerned about the well-being of this girl, this girl he had just met, someone he didn't know. Why? He didn't know. He just felt like it. Besides, she was hurt, and needed help. Maybe not warmth or food, but those were things that he could somewhat help. Well, he could only help with the cold if they found somewhere that was warm, and he could grab some warm air flows from it. Oh well. [/blockquote]

Okay, maybe growling at the girls was he wrong thing to do at the moment. Bt she noticed his hands on her elbow and she flushed again as he sked her questions. " I am a bit cold. But, can we head back to the school? If you wouldn't mind taking me." she shivered as a cold gust of wind blew her blonde hair back. "This blood is making me uncomfortable. And I think a nurse could tell me what happened to my ribs." she sighed and pulled up her shirt, exposing a large, black bruise. The guy did leave a mark, she thought. Not counting the fact that she had a busted lip and a cut on her forehead. She grumbled. Stupid fucking un-gifted humans. She soo wished she wasnt a human at this moment. She has always wanted to be an angel, or even a demon. But she guessed she was stuck with being a plain old boring gifted human.
Taking a deep breath, she look over at Adrien. "Yeah. I would like to head to the school. Im not feeling real well." she put her shirt down after the cold breeze gave her the chill bumps. She started to head in the direction of the entrance, being towed by Adrien. This time, since she tried not to be such a burden when he helped her over to the bench, she leaned on him slightly, trying to relax. "This is not how my day was supposed to go."
She forgot her jacket, thinking she was going to be a dog the whole time she was there. She was not supposed to get her ass kicked, get hurt, and have someone help her to the school. But, it seemed as if, it was working out all right. She still couldn't belive that she growled at girls when they stared at Adrien. She just met him! Guh. She was so pathetic. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye, and her heart skipped a beat. What the hell was wrong with her? Maybe she was going nuts because of the cold and pain. Or.. could it be a crush..? Nah. Oh hell nah! Kjara? Crushing? Never!. Psh.
