She sighed, crossing her arms over her legs, burrying her face. She didn't know how to feel, honestly. She didn't know if she should be absolutely furious with Jackson, or sit by him and comfort him. Logan's mind was a melting pot of emotions. Nothing was certain.
"Well," she said, somewhat bitterly, "I would hope like hell you're not happy about it." She lifted her head, waiting for Jackson to look at her. She needed a sort of reassurance; a way to know that he wasn't honestly glad about it. She knew he wasn't, but she needed to see it in his eyes, too.
She huffed, almost angrily, at the fact he wouldn't tell her. If it was about her, then she certainly had the right to know. But she'd let it go; obviously that was the least important bit of information.
"I can't live without you."
Logan's features softend at his words, letting them sink in. She let out a sigh, looking away, eyes completely downcasted. She didn't say anything, she just listened now. She had nothing left to say. She could sit there and lay out her feelings and emotions on the floor, but she guessed that could wait until next time, whenever that was. She only thought, 'I couldn't live without you, either.'
"I do believe you, Jackson," she said softly, fresh warm tears rolling down her cheeks. "But you could have tried to stop yourself, even in the least," she said in quiet defense. Slowly and shakily, she got up onto her feet, making to leave. But in the pit of her stomach, she didn't dare leave. She couldn't - not with the way Jackson looked there on the floor. "Was it worth killing him?" she asked quietly, curiously.

Jackson couldn't think anymore. He didn't want to move, he didn't want to speak, he didn't want to do anything but sit there and wallow in his alone-ness. That was the final straw, he'd pushed her too far this time, and she couldn't take it anymore. All he wanted to do was curl up into a ball with some ice-cream and beer. He was done, three strikes, and he's out.
He could still feel her gaze, but felt to ashamed to look at her. He sat there staring off into space, focusing on her words, but not attempting to formulate an answer. He was broken, because of what he had done, and what he was doing to her. He couldn't find the effort to formulate words, he couldn't find the effort to do anything but sit and take up space. He was blinking back tears, but he couldn't fight it; one after the other started falling down his face. It took too much effort to wipe them away, and he was too far gone to care.
He could see her legs, walking away from him forever, when she stopped, asking him a question no man would ever want to answer. "Logan..." he croaked, only managing a tone slightly above a whisper. He hoped it worked, because he didn't know what to do if she walked away from him.

Logan shook her head, making to leave. Her footsteps were slow, almost testing whether or not he'd stop her. Even if he didn't, she would have turned right around, anyways. Luckily, she didn't have to do that. She stopped, a few steps into her escape. Jackson's weak call of her name made her heart break even more so, if possible.
She sighed heavily, looking back at him. Seeing the tears running down his face, Logan felt a sick pang in her chest. It was partially her fault why he was crying. It was her stubborn personality and continuous questioning that broke him down right there.
She walked toward him, falling to her knees at his side. She didn't care anymore. She threw her arms around his neck, holding him tightly. To hell with the situation. To hell with it all. She felt fresh tears streaming down her cheeks again as she pulled away, making an effort to wipe away Jackson's tears. "Shh," she cooed softly, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, holding him tightly.

Jackson's tears never stopped. He couldn't watch her walk away, the pain would have been too much. Instead, he closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable. Only, it never came. She never left, and his poor attempt at getting her to stay worked. He wanted to look at her again, but he couldn't find the willingness to open his eyes once more. He heard her sigh, and his heart fluttered, if only for a moment.
Suddenly, there were arms around his neck, and her salty tears mixed with his own. A sob emerged from his chest, and his own arms wound tightly around her waist. He didn't want to let go, never again. He was done playing games. He wanted her to be his, forever and ever, no matter what. His eyes opened, meeting hers, and he brought a hand up to brush away her tears, a ghost of a smile on his lips.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, love," he told her gently, staring into her eyes. "I'm the one who should be apologizing." He stopped, choking back another sob. Bringing her closer, he pressed his lips against hers, pouring his emotions into something he could handle. Pausing, he hugged her tighter. "Do you forgive me?"

She smiled softly, kissing him again even after he's pulled away. Logan couldn't help but feel almost overwhelmingly happy that, despite their feud, they could just end up in each other's arms once more. This is where she always wanted to be. No doubt in her mind.
"You don't have to apologize, either," she muttered, shaking her head. She brought a hand up, quickly wiping away a few stray tears, locking their fingers together. "Of course I do," she said, burying her face in the crook of his neck.
She let out a sigh, mumbling beneath her breath, "Y'know, I wouldn't have it any other way." By 'it', she meant this; them, together, sitting on the floor in the library, their emotions being splayed out before each other. She never felt so right in her life.

Jackson chuckled softly, bringing a hand up to her back, rubbing small circles gently. It was as calming for him as he hoped it was for her. This position, this love that they both shared, despite the arguments and the tears, it felt right. They fought like an old married couple, but made up like typical teenagers. He buried his face into her hair, taking in a breath, smelling her. Smiling, he turned his head, resting his cheek atop it.
"Thank you," he replied, squeezing their intertwined fingers. They sat there in silence, until she huffed a sigh, telling him she wouldn't have their relationship any other way. He smiled, a true smile. "Hmm, I wonder why. You always love drama, don't you?" he teased, bringing their hands up to brush her bangs away.
Leaning back against the bookcase, he still smiled. For some unknown reason, he was unbelievably content with life, and felt utterly happy. It was crazy, how much his emotions could swing in the blink of an eye with Logan around. He let out a contented sigh. "I love you," he whispered gently, not pausing to see if she had heard him or not. "I'll love you forever, no matter what."

Logan smiled contently as they sat in each others arms. To her, it seemed natural. And in a cliche manner, she would even dare to say they were like puzzle pieces, each completing the other. She sighed, burrying her face deeper into the crook of his neck.
She looked up at him when he made his comment on her love for drama."Nu-uh!" she defended, even though everyone knew it was the truth. She always loved excitement, in any form. She paused, cracking a smile. "Okay, fine," she muttered, sticking her tongue out at him briefly, "Just a little bit."
Then he said it. The three words that, in the English language, mean that you're putting your heart out on your sleeve. Logan held her breath, as if waiting for anything else; any other words that could possibly confirm his words. '...forever, no matter what." That was all she needed. She looked up at him, her eyes wider than she meant for them to be. "You mean it?" she asked meekly, unable to stop herself.

Jackson felt better. He felt whole. A smile was plastered on his face as Logan buried herself closer to him. It made him feel a bubbly inside, just like that annoying song that always seemed to be playing on the radio, or in his sisters room. Seriously, how many times can one person say they feel bubbly? Honestly.
He chuckled at her reaction to his remark. Kissing the top of her head, he told her, "A little bit is an understatement. You live for drama." She did, but then again, so did his little sister. Maybe is was in the genetic makeup of all girls to love gossip and drama. He sure hoped not, because it put a damper on his spirits of ever having kids in the future.
He felt her stop breathing, and began patting her on the back. "Breathe, Logan." He smiled at her question, deciding weather or not to toy with her. He nodded his head. "Of course I mean it, silly goose. I wouldn't have said it otherwise." Laughing, he pecked her on the lips.

Normally, she'd feign hurt with his words. But not now. Not with the situation. If she was, indeed, hearing him correctly, he loved her. To her, this was phenomeonal. Things like this didn't happen to Logan. No, never. But... it just did. Her head was spinning. The only thing she could do in response is smile. No, take that back. All she could do is grin. Madly.
"Wow, Jackson," she said with a smile. "I - I love you, too." She nodded, loving the way the words sounded on her lips. She loved the meaning of the words. "And," she said with a small laugh, "You never know. You could just be telling me things to fill my head with nonsense." She laughed, nudging him slightly. This was something that she believed she could get used to real quickly.
