It was way too cold to go outside; the girl couldn’t contain body heat if her life depended on it, which it did. She wasn’t in the mood to party; yes, even the frequent party-goers needed a break. And if she could, she’d go and find Dani and/or Monster, but she couldn’t. So, she decided to go someplace quiet. Sure, she had thought about going to her dorm, but there were too many girls for the room and they were just too loud. Maybe that’s why she’s in that room. No, she just wanted peace and quiet.
Strolling down the hall, she took turns she normally wouldn’t and ended up where she wouldn’t have thought of going: the library. Sure, she liked to read but she never found the time. Nor the willpower. But she decided that today it could change.
Stepping inside the vast room, she stared at the rows and rows of books lining the walls and everywhere in between. Removing her scarf, she grabbed a random book off the shelf and sat at a vacant table. Well, it’s not like it was hard to find; the whole library was basically empty except for the few people studying. Logan quickly glanced at the book in her hand, Poetry Of The 18th Century, before opening to a random page and, almost literally, sticking her nose in it.

Guh. Even texting was boring right now. Everyone but the vampires were inside, due to the fact is was basically FREEZING outside. Rolling his eyes, he groaned over the boredom currently being inflicted on his poor soul. He sat in the cafeteria, watching people drink hot chocolate, wrapped in sweaters and scarves and whatnot. Him? Jackson dressed himself in black jeans, a little snug, and his favorite black shirt, topped with his favorite white jacket. His feet carried black shoes, and sunglasses topped his head, where just his blond streak stood up. He was only wearing eyeliner today, no need to be fancy.
Groaning once again, he got up, leaving the chaos of the cafeteria behind him. For some reason, peace and quiet suited his mood of boredom, and what better place than the library to go to? Grinning at his sudden thoughts, he jumped up some stairs and walked up some corridors until, bam, his was in the library.
It wasn't like he'd never been in there before, oh no. Just, this was the first time he was there for pleasure, and not for school. Looking around, he spotted a few people with noses in books, studying. One person, however, had their nose in a book, and wasn't studying. Jackson recognized her hair immediately, and her cute pointy ears anywhere. Grinning, he became mischievous, walking behind bookshelves where she was sitting. Popping out from behind one, he walked up behind her, placing an arm on either side on her, resting his hands on the table. Leaning in, he whispered into her ear, "Hi Logan." Boy, this reaction should be good.

If she wouldn’t have known any better, she could have sworn her heart stopped. Hearing an almost annoying familiar voice right in her ear, she jumped, dropping – no, throwing – the book up in surprise. Turning quickly to look behind her, she saw Jackson, adorable smirk and all. Huffing almost angrily, Logan picked up her book off the table and smacked Jackson in the arm. It’s not like it hurt. No, she was too small to inflict any sort of pain. No matter how hard she tried.
Sighing heavily, she attempted to gain back her breath, being nearly scared to death by Jackson. Glancing over, she made sure that none of the other occupants of the room were disturbed. “What the fuck was that for?” she hissed, shooting him an angry glare. No, it’s not like she was really angry. She just hated being surprised like that. Especially when she was so engrossed in a book.

Honestly, he couldn't have planned that any better. If he wouldn't have been right next to her precious ear, he would have started laughing. However, he was, and being in the library didn't help. He settled for a full blown smirk, and laughing softly when she attempted to hit him. "Now, now, darling. Was there a need for physical violence?" He whispered once more into her ear, before setting himself down in the chair beside her.
He still smirked as he watched her trying to regain a regular breathing process. "Hmm, just wanted to say hi. And surprise you. I suppose it worked, didn't it?" Jackson laughed lightly, leaning back against the table. He loved getting under her skin, just to get a reaction out of her. Reaching over, he brushed her hair away from her eyes. "I'm sorry," he said softly, looking into her eyes, hoping she believed it.

Logan sighed, listening to him laugh slightly. She pouted, firmly sticking her lower lip out. “Yes,” she stated firmly yet quietly, “Physical violence is a must. And quit with the ear thing.” She shivered, half for effect and half at the thought. She watched him sit in the chair next to her and she wrinkled her nose a bit. “Who said you could sit next to me?” she muttered under her breath with a playful smile.
She gently swatted his hand away from her eyes, glaring lightly and crossing her arms over her chest. After a moment, Logan sighed, looking into his eyes. “Fine,” she said, “I forgive you.” She gave him her usually cheery smile before asking, “What’s the real reason you’re up here? I highly doubt you came to see me, since neither you nor I knew I’d be here.”

Jackson feigned hurt, clutching his heart with one hand. "Oh, you wound me! I feel offended." He pouted for effect, still amused by her little anger. She never ceased to amaze him. Every moment around her was something new, something different, some exciting. The poor boy was conflicted in his thoughts, however. He decided to ignore them, for now, and let her dominate the moment.
He smiled when she forgave him. Patting her cheek, he resumed his previous position, leaning again the table. "Logan, really? How else do I have perfect grades? I was bored," he told her. Reaching behind him, he grabbed her discarded scarf, wrapping it around his neck lightly. "There isn't much to do, and I wanted quiet. Besides, spotting you just brightened up my day entirely."

Logan sighed, leaning back in her chair, ignoring the pat on her cheek. She watched him wrap her scarf around his neck and she laughed. “First off,” she said, tugging gently at the end of the striped scarf, “These stripes look too good on you. It’s scary. And I won’t lie, I’m a tad jealous. Secondly, you’re so cheesy.” She grinned lightly, trying to hide her unavoidable blush. Anything and everything Jackson says can make her smile or blush. Hell, even just hearing his voice could make her smile. Well, except when he’s scaring the shit out of her.
“And I don’t think talking to me,” she said with a grin, bringing her leg up to her chest, “Is considered quiet. I’m actually quite a loud person, in case you haven’t noticed.” She grinned, tongue peeking between her teeth.

Jackson's smile still played at his lips as he watched her tug the scarf, growing a tiny bit frustrated. "Really? I never pegged myself as a stripes kinda guy." Glancing down at her scarf, he could smell the very essence of Logan. It wasn't any specific smell, however, just a combination of things that was wonderful, and all her. "Hmm, jealous, eh? Glad to know I'm doing my job well." His happiness increased at the sight of her blush. "And cheesy, I'm not. What gave you that idea?" he asked her.
Oh lord. She had to pull the tounge between the teeth move? If he had a weakness, other than her, it would have to be that action right there. It made him want to fall apart, and become the person he wasn't. He fought down the urge to jump her right then and there, instead opting to speak. "Yes, well, I know how to make you quite. Pros and cons, darling, pros and cons."

“Hm,” she hummed thoughtfully, toying with the end of the scarf some more. “I don’t know. I like the stripes on you.” She smiled, nodding as if making it final. “But,” Logan said, tugging on the scarf a bit harder, but not enough to make it budge from around his neck, “I still think they look better on me.” She grinned, laughing at his statement. “Oh, I don’t know,” she said, leaning forward in her chair, poking his shoulder gently, “Maybe, uh, all the cheesiness leaking into this conversation? Bottle it up, hun.”
She saw that look on his face when her tongue went between her teeth. She knew that look, too. Logan’s eyes narrowed a bit, an open grin on her lips. “Oh,” she said quietly, “I bet you do.” She gave him a short smirk before leaning back in her seat more, bringing her other leg up to her chest, too. “Please, darling, in form me. Give me some pros and cons. My curiosity has been piqued.”

Jackson sat, watching her twirl the scarf, while in thought. Bringing a hand up, he ran it through his hair, almost as if to calm himself. "Does this mean you want me to wear stripes from now on?" he toyed, smirking. "Because if you do, I can just take your scarf." Laughing, he gently moved her hand away, throwing the ends of the scarf around his neck. "And I'm not cheesy, darling. Get over it."
He smirked when her eyes narrowed. He saw the game she was playing, and it takes two to tango, right? Leaning over, he very slowly ran his thumb over her face. Around her eyes, over her nose, and gently over her lips. Leaning in further, he whispered into her ear, "We're in a library, babe. Don't think this is the best place to inform you."

“No!” she said louder than she intended, making grabby hands for the scarf. She stuck her lower lip out in a dramatic pout. Seeing as she wouldn’t get her scarf back until later, she sighed in defeat. Logan’s eyebrow arched when she heard the last part of his sentence. She just rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore it and let it go. This time.
Feeling his hand on her face, she instinctively leaned into his touch and closing her eyes partially. As he brushed his thumb over her lips, an involuntary shiver went down her spine. It’s not like she could help it. No, it just made her shiver, but in the best way possible.
"We're in a library, babe. Don't think this is the best place to inform you."
At this, she huffed, her bottom lip disappearing between her teeth in thought. She pulled away, locking her eyes with his, attempting to read his eyes and see exactly what he was planning. These things were unpredictable with Jackson most of the time. After a moment, she leaned forward, making their foreheads touch. “Why not?” Logan teased quietly. “It’s not like people could see us,” she said, making herself invisible for a second to prove her point.

Jackson felt her shiver, and it made him grin in pleasure. Teasing her was one of his favorite pastimes, and all the other favorites almost always included her, too. He couldn't help it, really. It was her own fault she was so damn irresistible. He felt her breath tickle his hand when she huffed, and he laughed.
He was slightly sad when she pulled back, but when he locked eyes with her, he became happy. Jackson hoped his eyes didn't say anything odd, seeing as how he couldn't control that part of his body. He growled softly when she became invisible. "That only works for you, darling. Besides, this library is huge. I bet we could find a comfortable spot."

Logan blushed at the thought. Certainly they couldn’t do anything in a library, right? Wouldn’t it be public indecency? Or something equally as bad? But at the same time, she wouldn’t mind it. Not one bit. It was Jackson. So come on. She smiled, bottom lip between her teeth again, reaching out and squeezing his knee gently. “Yes,” she said slowly, “But it might help my case, anyways.” She laughed, teasingly sticking her tongue out at him.
“Well then,” Logan said, standing up, and tugging on Jackson’s hand, “Let’s go find that spot.” She pulled him up to his feet, dragging him behind her. “Stop me when you find this place of yours,” she mumbled to him, walking maybe a little too fast.

Jackson grinned at her blush. It was another thing he liked to do, make her uncomfortable. Unless, when she turned it against him, which was exactly what she was doing right now. Her tounge popped in between her teeth once more, and he bit back a groan that wanted to escape. To say that he was sexually frustrated would be wrong, but he was starting to get sexually frustrated with her.
He laughed when she pulled him up, as it took some effort. He let her drag him around for a while, before he got fed up with the pace. Pulling her back, he threw her, gently, again the end of a bookcase, sheltered from peeping toms and the librarian, for it was near the back of the library, where hardly anyone ventured. Each of his hands grasped each of hers, and his body was resting dangerously close to hers. He smirked. "This good enough?" he asked softly.

Logan smiled widely, seeing that almost hungry look in his eyes. She knew what he was thinking. And she won’t lie, she didn’t mind it. Not at all. Almost pleased as Jackson pressed her up against the end of the bookcase, she smiled, tugging her bottom lip between her teeth again.
She fought back slightly as he grasped both of her hands. She liked to have her hands free – for anything and everything. And in this case, they’d come in handy. Finally, she stopped fighting back and slumped back against the bookcase, groaning slightly. “I guess,” she mumbled quietly. “So,” she said, moving her body slightly against the shelf, “About those pros and cons…?”
