Jackson smirked as she tried to fight back. She always did that, and it never worked. It made him amused that she tried though. He felt her slump against the bookcase, and that didn't make him happy. Leaning in, he kissed the tip of her pointy elf ear, hoping that got a ruse out of her. Leaning away, he placed light kisses on her cheek, moving down to her jaw, and around the the other cheek.
"Hmmm," he started, roughly whispering into the other ear. Kissing the tip of that one too, he chuckled. "Depends. Want to start with the pros or the cons?"

Feeling his lips on her ear, then her cheek and jaw nearly made her melt. He was just too wonderful and she just loved every thing about him. Logan let out a contented sigh, feeling his breath in her ear. Normally, she’d be extremely picky about this and swat him away. But not now. Oh, definitely not. Things were going to get heated here very soon and she wouldn’t endanger those chances.
“Let’s start with the pros,” she said with a cheeky grin. She squeezed his hands still sort of entwined with hers, bringing them down around her waist. “The cons,” she mumbled, moving dangerously close to his lips, “We can save for later.” She moved his hands to her hips then slowly brought them towards her lower stomach. She smiled, leaving minimal space between her lips and his.

Jackson could tell he was making her all hot and bothered, and for some reason, it made him gloriously happy. He could feel her breath on his neck when she sighed. It tickled, making the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He knew he was pushing his limits with her, but like any guy would say, it just felt good.
He smirked when she said she wanted to start with the pros. Always like her, wanting the best before the worst. He let her take the lead for a moment, leading his hands down toward her waist. Her lips, near his, her breath so intoxicating he almost forgot his own name. Regardless of the fact that they both wanted this, he knew in the back of his mind that he had to stop it before they went too far. Pushing his lips against hers, he whispered, "You know we can't do this."

Logan laughed breathily, pressing her lips to his again, almost desperately. “Yeah,” she said with a sly smile, “Not here.” She laughed, pulling their lips together again, a little more forcefully. She wasn’t playing any games with him. No, not now. He had her right where they both wanted her to be and she just wanted this. Now. She almost didn’t care if it was in the back of the library.
She gently wriggled her hands from his grasp, bringing them up and lacing them behind his neck, slowly letting them fall down his chest, fingers ghosting his clothing. “Since we can’t do this here,” she said, smiling slightly, wrapping her arms around his waist, “Why don’t we go elsewhere?” She looked up into his eyes, raising both eyebrows, hoping that he’d catch her drift. Pressing another kiss to his lips, she murmured, “Somewhere private.”
[[[*giggles to death* wow. Logan's such a whore. Just bitch her out already, please. xD oh and *bows down repeatedly* I'm soooo sorry!!! ToT *offers baskets of baked goods*]]]

A low growl emitted from his chest, low enough for her to feel, but not hear. She wasn't understanding him, and he knew she didn't want to. She wanted this just as bad as he did, if not more. It was his fault for dragging her this far. Part of him, the demon part, wanted to continue this, to fuck her brains out until tomorrow. The other part, the more humane part, the part that cared for her, and loved her, wanted to stop, to protect her. Here, in this intimate moment, he was fighting an inner battle.
Logan felt good. Hell, she even tasted good. It was making resisting her harder and harder. Jackson's eyebrows furrowed, grabbing her hands, which were making a dangerous path down to his ass. "You misunderstood me, darling," he said between her furious kisses. That made it even harder to talk. He sighed, resting his forehead against hers. "We can't do this. You know that, Logan. I've already let this get too far."

She wouldn’t admit it, but she did understand him. No matter how badly she didn’t want to. But her brain was on over drive and she didn’t care how slutty she sounded or how desperate she acted. Things were just too heated there in the library to be rational. Pushing those thoughts aside, she continued planting kisses all over Jackson’s face. More specifically on his jaw and down his neck. Maybe, she debated, if she could tease him just enough, he’d just fuck her there on the library shelf. But by the looks of it, it’d take a little bit more than that.
She huffed as he put his forehead against hers, stopping her assault on him. “But,” she begged, her eyes pleading with his, “If it’s already gotten this far, a little further wouldn’t hurt anyone.” She smiled, licking her bottom lip. “Come on, Jackson,” she said in a low voice, “You know you want this as much as I do. There’s nothing wrong with it.”

Jackson sighed. He did want this, the burning desire was there, and it was becoming more stronger each passing minute. Her eyes were begging his to listen to her, to forget about what he just said and forget his name, and forget everything and just live in the moment. He couldn't though, as much as he wanted this moment, right here and now, he couldn't. His hands left hers, one brought up to her hair, the other resting on her waist.
"That's the problem," he told her softly. "A little farther would end up hurting you. I can't hurt you that way Logan, I'm sorry." His eyes closed, his forehead still resting against hers. He let out a shallow breath. "I won't hurt you like that. You're too good for me," he whispered, and he didn't care if she heard it, he had to say it.

Even though it was completely unintentional, she couldn’t help the anger that flared up inside of her. It was always like this. They ebb a little father each time and then he says that he can’t do that to her. But that was just it. Do what? He wouldn’t supposedly hurt her if she wanted this. And boy oh boy did she want this. More than anything in the world. She was pretty sure that Jackson knew that, too.
She swatted Jackson’s hand off of her hair, maybe a little more forcefully than she meant to. She knitted her eyebrows together in frustration, thoughts flying through her mind. “It wouldn’t!” she argued. “How could this possibly hurt me? I don’t see any possible way, Jackson.” Logan huffed angrily, a prickling feeling greeting the back of her eyes. Yes, she would tear up over this. Jackson’s the only person she’s ever wanted this badly in her life. Maybe that wasn’t saying much, but it meant the world to her. She heard his words under his breath and she wanted to groan in frustration. How could he even say that sort of thing? “Jackson,” she said firmly, doing her best to hide her near annoyance and frustration.
“I’m not too good for anybody,” Logan said almost too bitterly. “Especially you.” At that point right there, she wanted to just run away. She just wanted to curl up and cry. It was like having the only person you’ve ever cared that much for turn you away. It was something she couldn’t handle very well.

Jackson was hurt inside. It pained him to do this to her, and it got harder and harder each time. There would come a time, and he knew it was soon in the future, where he wouldn't stop them. It scared him to think such things. He didn't see it right though, to have someone so perfect as her be so attracted to a demon like him. He cursed himself mentally for letting this happen, but it didn't matter anymore. He was too far in to let go now.
"Logan!" he nearly yelled, wanting her to look at him. "Do you know what I am? My powers? If I loose control, even for the briefest moment, I could kill you." He sighed, releasing himself from her grasp, beginning to pace. "Don't you dare think I don't want this, because I do." Wanting to cry out in frustration, he kept pacing, hoping to calm himself.
He looked at her when she said his name. His heart broke at her anger with him. He could see the tears in her eyes, and he wanted nothing more than to sweep her into his arms and never let go. He couldn't though, and it killed him. "I can't do it, Logan. I-" he broke off, looking away. He couldn't tell her what had happened last night. There was no way she would understand.

Logan visibly flinched when he raised his voice to her. Reluctantly, she glanced up at him, through the fringe of her bangs. She listened to him, not daring to interrupt. She knew all of this; she's heard it all before. He doesn't want to hurt her with his powers because he could lose control at any time - blah blah blah. It wasn't a good enough of a reason for her.
She felt a warm tear slip past her guard, rolling down her cheek. Hoping Jackson wouldn't notice, she quickly swiped it away, sniffling as quietly as she could. To her, it seemed like he was beating around the bush - dancing around the real reason. Why wouldn't he just tell her flat out?
"Jackson," she said quietly, her anger quelled for the time being, "Can't you just tell me flat out why you can't do this? I highly doubt it's all about your powers." She sighed, debating whether she should just go and give him a hug or not. But she couldn't. Not in this situation. "What's the real reason?" she muttered quietly, leaning completely against the shelf. "Because I know you're not telling me."

Jackson wanted to flat out cry. He was causing her so much pain, which in turn made him hurt even more. He wanted nothing more than to hold her once again, to have her body up against his, and for nothing to be in the way. The pacing stopped, and he stood in front of her. Bring a hesitant hand up, he brushed her bangs out of the way, resting his hand on her cheek. Her blue eyes were filled with tears, and it was all his fault.
He shook his head, mentally kicking himself once more. "It's complicated," he started, looking away from Logan. It was complicated; the reason he killed the boy had to do with her, or else he wouldn't have even thought about doing anything. He began pacing once more, trying to figure out what he should say. "You know the recent deaths?" he started, his back towards her. "I may have played a part in one of them."

As he brought a hand up to rest on her cheek, she didn't swat him away. She couldn't. They were both hurt and to just push him away like that would practically kill them both inside. Logan sighed, placing her hand over his own, rubbing his knuckles with her thumb.
As he began to pace again, her cheek vacant without his hand, she watched him silently, grabbing onto every word he had to say.
"I may have played a part in one of them."
"Jackson," she muttered, her eyes growing wide instantaneously. She slide her way down the wall, bringing her knees up to her chest, back rigid against the bookshelf. She looked back up at him, her mouth agape in shock. She shook her head in disbelief, her hands finding their way through her hair, over her ears. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. She refused to believe it. "Oh my God," she muttered beneath her breath.
"Jackson," she repeated, tears welling up in her eyes, showing obviously through the crack in her throat, the way her voice shook. "How could you?" she whispered, not meaning to make it sound so desperate and hollow. She stared in front of her, eyes just as wide and mouth still agape. "Why?" she repeated, needing to know what had caused him to murder another student.

Jackson was lost. He wanted to leave, so he didn't have to tell Logan what had happened. He wanted so many things, it made the room spin. Stumbling against a bookcase that sat diagonally from her, he threw himself to the ground. His hands clutched his head, and his knees held the weight of his elbows. He couldn't take it; telling her what he had done. He had to do it though, because she had a right to know.
He felt her gaze on him, but he couldn't bring himself to look at her. When she spoke his name a second time, he felt his head jerk up, but had no memory of wanting to do so. He took a deep breath, releasing it slowly. His train of thought stopped there, as he took his time answering her question. "I- I don't really know. He was drunk, at the club of course. He kept wanting shot after shot after shot, sitting there at the bar by himself. He started rambling about all the 'women at school' and how he was going to do all this shit to them." Jackson stopped, his eyes closed once more. "I pretty much ignored it all, but then he started talking about you, and I just couldn't take it."
"I went outside, to calm myself down. Someone came out and told me he lured a girl up to the rooftops, and I guess the demon part of me took over. She was just a regular normal girl, out with friends, and screaming her head off. I sent her downstairs, and Edwards was furious." Jackson paused once more, his voice almost lower than a whisper. "Next thing I knew, he was dead."

"Oh my God, Jackson," she muttered, burrying her head in her hands. "How could you?" Logan asked, her voice small and meek. She shook her head, still refusing to believe it. He killed a boy... because of her? She felt tears wrack her body and she fought as hard as she could to hold them back. Her tears were locked up, but for how long, she wouldn't be able to tell.
"Jackson," she said, again, unable to find the right amount of words to finish a thought completely. She looked up, feeling tears rolling down her cheeks silently. "Why?" she muttered, voice shaking, "Why because of me?" She shook her head again, her fingers threading through her hair, tugging in frustration.
"Who cares if he just talked about me? He was drunk, Jackson. He wouldn't have the balls to follow through with whatever he was saying," she murmured almost angrily. "Even if he did, I could have protected myself," she said under her breath. For the other girl's sake, however, she understood why Jackson was protecting her - it was for good reason. But not good enough to kill Edward. She sat in silence, head still craddled in her hands, body shaking. "What could he have possibly said to provoke you to kill him?" she asked, voice quiet and full of wonder. Nothing in her mind was worth it. Nothing.

He figured he'd get this sort of reaction. It was the same reaction he himself had, minus the tears. Jackson still couldn't come to terms with what he had done. He wasn't fully aware of what had happened until moments later, when he couldn't see the boy but knew for sure he was dead. His position nearly mimicked Logan's, as a single tear swept down his cheek. He wiped it away angrily, a rough sigh escaping his chewed lips.
"It's not like I wanted to, Logan," he spat bitterly, angry only at himself, and not her. "Do you think I'm happy with what I did?" Seriously. He was ashamed of it, and he hoped to god he could take it back. The poor kids family, having to receive the news that their son was murdered while attending a school for the gifted. Who would want that?
Jackson looked up when she finished speaking. Her shaking body just begged to be held, but somewhere in his mind, he knew he'd be pushed away. He smiled sadly. "I can't tell you what he said." He sighed, before going on. "You're not seeing the big picture here, though. I can't live without you." He dropped his legs, facing his head towards her. "I would never forgive myself if something had happened to you. Logan, you have to believe me. I didn't want that to happen, but it did, and now I'm paying the heavy price." Sighing again, he looked away, fearing her reaction.
