general appearance;; There is honestly one word that can describe the way that Gretchen Fitzroy looks and dresses. Fresh. She is pretty much one of those girls who can look gorgeous 98% of the time, without much effort. And to add to that fact, she's not totally and utterly vain. The teenager is very much into the whole fashion scene, she can make most daggy outfits look pretty good. During her years while still in London, the girl did some modeling for a couple of department stores, which adds to her style and such. So, back on track, Gretch has a good fashion sense. This ranges from vintage clothes, some designer outfits, to straight off the rack. She prefers clothes that look nice, but look vintage and unique. She's never one to follow the trends, so the speak, but in most cases Gretchen likes the looks of them. It's as simple as that.
Down to the nitty gritty features, Gretch is generally described as gorgeous. She hasn't got seductive eyes, or lush lips that make girls hot. Nor does the teenager has narrow cheekbones or a classic face to make her beautiful. She's honestly just cute. Sure, not the constant hot-topic of school, but known well enough as attractive. Gretchen's skin tone is fair and creamy in complexion, which suits her just fine. The girl has naturally brown hair, which changes from an chocolate brown, to a hazelnut brown in different lights. Her hair is quite full, being cut in choppy layers down past her shoulders, with a stylish fringe to match. Gretch has rosy cheeks that are dotted with a few freckles, a cute nose, straight teeth surrounded by suiting lips. The girl's eyes are fairly nice- chocolate brown with a few specks of honeycomb, outlined with thick dark lashes. However, from time to time, she is actually required to wear glasses, which is odd for someone of her species. Really, Gretchen Fitzroy is very confident with her style and looks.
general personality;; Gretchen's look tends to label her as your classical bitch. The girl who has perfect skin, great hair and a nice sense of clothing? Of course others are going to judge her in one way or another. And heck, being a vampire, thats bound to happen from one time to another in her life. But when you get down to the core, Gretch really isn't one of those people who enjoy gossiping and bitching about others. Of course she's going to make the slip and vent some feelings about someone now and then, but she doesn't make a habit of it. Even though some label vampires as cold, dark and antisocial people, this is one of the teenagers biggest traits in contest to her race;
She loves attention.
Gretchen is your typical 'I'm going to act dumb to get noticed' or your 'I know all the answers' kind of girl. She couldn't live with herself if she was that blatantly attention-seeking person. Lets just say the Fitzroy girl does it with class. She's the kind of person you want at your party. The kind of girl you can stop to chat with and generally walk away feeling happier than you had been a minute ago. She's a great conversationalist, and has a sarcastic sense of humor. Gretch is some what of a rebel, if you want to stereotype her like that, against the general judgment of vampires. She makes the effort to be seen, and just doing her natural thing after that. Another way she gets attention is being she tends to flirt. Allot. None of that cheesy crap, nor the obvious kind of stuff. Again, she does it with style. Gretchen is a very charming and elegant person, and she can be the kind of girl who doesn't mind speaking up to get a laugh.
So besides being a socialite, Gretchen has got to have her faults, right? Well, her most obvious one is the fact that she can get jealous very easily. Like most people who enjoy attention and being noticed, the girl has a tendency of becoming the envy monster. Whether it's being blown off for something or someone else, or getting a worse mark that someone she had been wishing to top, Gretchen doesn't take it lightly. But instead of bitching, as she isn't very fond of as already said, the girl bottles it all up. She just keeps pushing it aside, letting whatever negative emotions pie up inside. Then, she's crack or have a melt down, go through half a pack of smokes, and its all over again. But then, it'll probably start again. Who knows? It's just her actions and reaction trade.
Coming hand in hand with jealousy is the fact that the teenager likes getting what she wants. This ties in with the fact that she's also competitive. Receiving second best or second hand doesn't usually put Gretch in a good mood, for she yearns for the best, the most brilliant things. Although, I guess this could have one, maybe two good points to it. Saying this, Gretchen doesn't accept her own work if it's shabby or scrappy. Only the best will do, so that as a result, she had hope to be given praise in return. The other is her taste in friends and boyfriends. She doesn't really hang with the 'loser' crowd, and certainly doesn't date the dorks.

history;;
Childhood
Zeke Max was born on the 16th of June at 3:56am. His sister, Gretchen Mia, followed his suit at 4:00am. They were the second birth to Sandy and Landon Fitzroy. The two were close at birth, this being a jump start to their relationship throughout the years. Granted, this did have an impact on their elder brother, whom was born two years previously. Theodore Marcus Fitzroy had been the apple of his parent's eyes up until the babies arrived on the scene. And, well, two sons and daughter... that obviously caused a bit of a fuss. Gretchen was the girl they had always hoped for, but this didn't meant Sandy and Landon loved their sons any less. They simply loved Gretchen a little more.
Growing up with her two brothers and parents was a little more... exotic than most families. Her mother and father both being vampires, and both her other siblings being of the same race, Gretch was taught from an early age that she was different. What other kids could hear as distinctly as she could? What kids could smells and see things from distances as great as she could? And what other girls could sing as beautifully as she could, and cast what seemed to be a spell over those who listened? Many thought she was just a gifted child, but she was much more than that. Being a vampire opened up her eyes as soon as she was able to open them herself. Sure, drinking the blood from other humans and creatures wasn't exactly her piece of cake, but it was just their way of life.Adolescence
In the years leading up, and during pubescence, Gretchen was nothing like the way she is today. This was the time when you start to become self-conscious of yourself, especially for girls. She was developing into a nice figure, and a rather pretty girl, but that didn't mean she was comfortable with herself. For one thing, she was lying to all her friends about who she really was. After all, who in their right mind would have a vampire as a friend? She hated the fact that she was so different, and during this stage before becoming a teenager, Gretch loathed being a vampire. She tried to convince herself that things would turn out normal, but deep down the girl knew they wouldn't be. She wasn't capable of being normal now. Another reason that added to this fact was because Gretchen had picked up the occasional modeling job. They were generally for department stores, looking for girls who suited the winter range, and our pale and delicate Gretch fitted that perfectly. Though this was encouraging for her to shake her shell, it wasn't the reason why she did in the end.
The turning point for the only girl of the Fitzroy family was the death of her mother. Sandy and Landon had been living in London for a century or more, going on with their lives with mortals being any the wiser. One night though, while the mother of the family was feeding after a rather hard day, she was attacked by a farmer and his sons who had found her stealing some of their farm animals. It was a rather horrific act, the way they killed her, which isn't spoken of by the Fitzroy family. After Sandy had passed though, it was no longer able to reside in London. The farmers had found out about the vampire breed living in residential area, and so for safely reasons, Landon picked up shop, and moved his kids to a more secluded area. After experiencing all this, the Fitzroy children, especially Gretchen, were more humble with their way of living. Their gifts weren't something to be taken for granted, and nor were their 'immortal' lives.Teenager
Once she had settled into her new skin, and had further been enrolled into Winterthorne Academy, Gretch came out of the shell she had been hiding in. Thorns of regret and guilt of being a vampire were still embedded into her mind and heart, but she covered these over with new hobbies she could throw herself into. The girl picked up a passion for art, poetic writing and music. She was fast becoming the crafty one of her family. Zeke, her twin, was the kind of person normal kids could call a jock. With his intense speed, strength and power of manipulating fire, he was still very much her stone of support. Theodore was the smart one of the siblings, being able to control the elements, empathy and mild mind-reading powers, he used these all to his advantage.
Growing up at Winterthorne was a growing experience for Gretchen though. She went from out-cast, to average, and only recently has she been standing out above the crowd. At this stage, the girl is interested in a vast range of things that are important to her; upholding her social status, music and art, boys and making the most of these years. She is still yet to accept the fact that she's never going to be normal though.

Alexis typically one of those girls who seemed to get caught up in a Summer Romance. And oh how she hated it. Though she wasn't one to 'put herself out there', nor was she one to appear coy and shy in the season of hot nights and equally hot days. Being a somewhat alternative and down to earth person, Alex tended to shoot for the boys that she did have a chance with, but were probably not the best choice when it came to a relationship. But thats what summer romances were all bout, weren't they? Meeting a boy while he was away visiting relatives for the holidays, spending every free day together, sneaking out when time seemed to catch up on you, all leading up to a teary goodbye and promises to call each other. But that never happens, does it? You both get too caught up in school, and know that it's better to leave what you had as it was, instead of brining up something you never know will work. Well, even though Alexis wasn't a fan of this whole ordeal, she couldn't honestly claim she hadn't even been through that scenario.
Though this summer, the British teenager had made a promise that she wasn't going to get involved in any guys who were simply visiting Kennigton for the summer. She hated the feeling of wanting something, but ultimately knowing you were never going to get it. And why waste summer drooling over some Junior boy who wasn't going to be around when she needed him most? Alex had plenty of friends that she could be spending her time with. Sometimes, the girl simply wished that she could turn back the time, before she came to the USA, when summer in England wasn't full of romances like this. If she were in Great Britain now... odds are the girl would be spending her weeks at music festivals, or traveling over the boarders to Paris or Ireland. Though she constantly wondered what it would be like growing up there these days, the teen knew that she wouldn't seriously want to trade what she had here for anything. Come school she would be in her Sophomore year, the real beginning to her life.
But at the moment, it was summer, and school was pretty much last on her list, other than summer lovers, that is, for the young girl's engender. Alexis had been seeing Ross allot lately, and quite frankly, she couldn't get enough of him. Heck, he was her best friend, but she never seemed to get sick of him at all. Not even when they bickered or fort over little things, because the girl knew that they would eventually look back on it and laugh. The teenager had spent the morning doing one of her favorite things, sleeping, before heaving herself out of bed to go and grab a bite to eat with Ross. They had seen a movie that afternoon, before deciding to drive down to Colman Lake for a late afternoon swim. As they both jumped of of Ross's jeep and began to make their way down to the far side of the lake, away from most of the afternoon crowd, the girl couldn't help but smile to herself. This was what summer was all about; hanging out with her best friend, and knowing that time was not your limit anymore.
Alex wore a modern green lace dress that reached the middle of her thighs, the sleeves falling around her elbow. It was cotton, and light enough for the warm summer air that seemed to cling to their skin as the two walked side by side, towels in hand, drawing closer to the cool waters of the lake. The girl also wore a hat she had found in the back of Ross's car, which was gray with a black strip around the middle. Her brown hair fell wavy around her shoulders, casual and nice, but nothing she had done to impress anyone really. Under her clothes the girl wore a salmon colored bikini, with pale flowers and such patterns printed on the fabric. It suited her creamy completion, as well as fitting her slender shape. Once the two had finally reached the banks of the lake, Alexis glanced around for a moment. She could see that the sun was going to be setting in a while, hence the reason the lake wasn't as full as it usually was in the middle of the day. Alex dropped her things on the ground, including her over-shoulder bag, while kicking off her white flip flops. She studied the water for a second more, before turning to Ross, a grin plastered across her youthful face.
