She couldn't remember anything at all. Her head was swimming, her chest was burning as if someone was blowing a flame torch inside of her flesh and bones. She blinked her eyes a few times, looking around the room. Everything was white. Oh no. Please god no. With a dizzy head, she went to rub her eyes. What..? What the hell was going on? Why was she in the hospital? She wore a plain white gown, with the same colored sheets with a small blue one covering her. Why can't she remember what happened? Voices drifted from the doors, and she seemed to recgonize one of them. It was.. was.. Adrien! Then it all came back in a flash. The park, the boys, the pain and everything else in between. So they must ave made it to the hospital some how. But why can't she remember anything else except his last words? But she did remember the feel of ihs body against hers.
With a shiver, she turned her head, and saw X-Ray's of her ribs. To the left, was one that showed a very much shattered rib, and to the right, one with nothing ubt a metal bar. Above the photo's, the name read; von Rael, Kjara. What the hell?! But what she thought was in her ead, slipped right through her teeh. "Get me out of here!" she was not going to be in a hospital again! Seventh floor or not!
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. It hurt too much to move her waist, so, she took a deep breath, biting her lip, and tried her best to relax. But with the narcotic and acrid smell of the room, she couldn't. She was terrified. Hospitals were not her best friends. They did not wok out well together. She turned er ead as the wooden doors opened, and she held her breath. Please please pplleeassee get me out of here. She didn't want to be here. She really didn't need to be here. Where was the harm in a shattered rib? Obviously, to the point to where she was in the hospital. [sorry so short. ><]

A groan issued from Adrien's mouth as Kjara was put into a room, finally. It might've been easier to get here if he had shifted, but having to hold Kjara, it wouldn't be possible, really. Not without hurting her more than she already was. And she was hurt pretty badly. Having walked all the way from Spiritkastle, the local amusement park, the running one, he was exhausted. But he would have to hang on just a little longer. Being the only one to be with Kjara, he was the only one to provide any answers to what had happened. At that right there wouldn't be easy. How could he explain to a human that Kjara had been a dog, and someone kicked her? With a steel-toed boot. First off, the doctors wouldn't believe it. Sure, they knew of the freaky Winterthorne kids, but they didn't know how different they were. They didn't know of the powers, really. All they knew was the fact that they were weird and generally to be avoided.
But of course, the doctors didn't know that the two were from Winterthorne, although they could probably tell there was something different about him. Kjara was human, albeit gifted, and had less of the whole "weirdo" vibe than some of the others did. But Adrien had some demon blood in him. Well, vampire blood, but he had been born a demon. But he also was half-human, which actually sucked. In his book. Sort of. Well...it was a long story. But the doctors were a bit wary of him. A sigh escaped his lips as he glanced towards the door where Kjara was hidden inside. He didn't know when the girl passed out, mostly because he had been dragging her most of the way in the first place, so when Kjara went limp, he really didn't notice it. Although, that could be counted as a bad thing. All he knew was that she wasn't conscious when they reached the hospital.
The voices of the doctors seemed to drift into one ear and out the other as the droned on talking about Kjara. Occasionally, a question would be asked, and he responded, and the droning went on. A rib was shattered, that much was known. But they wanted to know how, and all that Adrien said was that she got into a fight. Of course, they wanted more details, and then they thought the girl a delinquent, pretty much. Sure, having powers, being magykal, had more advantages than disadvantages, but this was one big disadvantage here. Currently the doctors were trying to figure out how the fight went. Adrien rolled his eyes. Doctors were smart, but they lacked the common sense to actually ask Adrien what happened. Really, this was good, so that Adrien could think of what happened.
Finally, the doctors decided to get smart and ask Adrien what happened. "Well, I wasn't there the whole time, but I went to Spiritkastle to meet up with a couple of my friends. I was going out towards the back of it, because that's where I was to meet with them. And then I heard some loud noise, cheering and egging on and stuff. There was a big circle of people, of teens. I shoved through to see that girl, Kjara von Rael, on the ground being kicked by an older girl. I don't know exactly what happened, but the bigger girl seemed to have gotten ticked off at Kjara and attacked her or something. The park police arrived, so everyone just ran, except Kjara, because she couldn't move very well. Not without stumbling or swaying. So, I grabbed her, and helped her here." He told them, amidst their wonder and murmurs of surprise. Gods, these guys were stupid. He only hoped they wouldn't go and question the guards of Spiritkastle, or else he'd be in trouble.
Before the doctors could say much more, a shout was heard. Many peoples' heads shot up in shock and surprise at the sound. He looked over at the room where Kjara was. That was where the sound came from. Adrien cringed slightly. It was obvious, from her outburst, that she didn't like hospitals. She would have to deal with it, because a hospital would always be better than a normal healer at the school. Unless one of those healers had practiced at a hospital or something. Oh well. One of the doctors, the one in charge of the girl, approached the door, and Adrien followed.
The door opened to reveal Kjara, her head turned to the side, a look of pain on her face. Adrien, ignoring the doctor's protests, walked over to her side, the side her head was turned towards. He grabbed a chair and pulled it next to her. "Kjara?" He murmured, his voice filled with worry. "Shh..it's going to be alright.." he told her, tilting her head down at her.

[ooc;trying new fonts. ><] When Adrien walked in, it was as if everything got better. Her rapidly beating heart slowed to a more healthful beat, and her breathing slowed. “Please get me out of here. I don’t want to be in here.” her blue and green eye searched his, hoping he would understand the agony she was feeling. The smell of the anesthetics was making her nose burn, the sounds of moaning and crying patients’ most normal people could never hear rung in her head, and she felt like she was suffocating. Her eyes drifted to the window, and she saw the blinds were closed and the glass was shut. Her brows furrowed as she reached up with her hand to scratch her nose, and felt a tube. Her fingers wrapped around it, and she pulled it off her face and out of her nose. She could breathe just perfectly fine without stupid technology. She then rubbed her face again, and felt slight ridges on both cheeks. For a second, her expression was lost. What were these things sticking up on her face? When she traced the pattern with her pointer finger, her eyes widened. The tattoos! She remembered meeting Adrien that day, and she knew for a fact that they weren’t on her face. But as her finger traced the root-like spiral that started from the corner of her right eye (the blue one) and over most of her upper right face, she felt a tear prick her eye. Her left hand traced the three bars on her left jaw bone. What where they doing on her face? She thought she made them go away!
With a frustrated sigh, she looked around the room, her hand gripping the white rail by her side so tight that her knuckles looked bleached. When she took the tube out of her nose, the doctors started to freak out, gathering around her bed and talking loudly. She looked down at her left arm and saw an IV sticking out of her arm. She took a shuddery and painful breath, and gently pulled it out. That was the last straw for the doc’s. Apparently, without the IV in her system, she was screwed. As they started panicking, she watched one female grab the IV and go to put it back in her arm. She jerked her hand back with a glare. ”Don’t touch me.” she warned her, a deadly growl in her voice.
But she didn’t have a choice. The next thing she knew, hands were holding her wrists, and tight plastic bands were strapped around her arms, holding her in place on the rails. She squirmed in the bed, tears streaming down her face. Her eyes, searching for Adrien, couldn’t find him anywhere. There were so many white coated humans that they hurt her sensitive eyes. Her mouth opened with a slight scream. Or, to her anyways. Her hands strained at the straps, every muscle visible in her strongly built arms. But, she couldn’t snap them. Her eyes wide with fear, she pulled at them more. In her head, a million voices could be heard by anyone who understood the language of the animal way. Then suddenly, a small thud was heard towards the widow, then another after another. Thud! Thud! Thud!
Kjara’s heart stopped as pain erupted through her chest. Forcing her chest and back off the bed, she squirmed even more, shouting in her head with all the force she could Stop! One doctor went to look outside the window as the thudding noise stopped. His face went white. If you were to look out the window, for at least a mile, dogs, birds, and animals alike stood nearby, filling up any space possible. With wide eyes, the doctors turned to look at Kjara as a small drip of blood ran from the corner of her mouth and nose. Then her eyes rolled in the back of her head, and she went limp.

A slightly saddened expression was plastered upon Adrien's face. He really didn't like seeing her like this, but with the extent of her injuries, and the fact that the hospital was possibly a tad closer than to the school, required her to be here. Adrien was most definitely not one to like hospitals, either. The smell of the anesthetics nearly killed him. Well, not literally, but he absolutely hated that smell, and it probably hated him back just as much. Of course, no one could be sure of that fact, seeing as how anesthetics had no feelings, but it generally could be thought of. "I wish I could, Kjara, but I don't think it's going to be that easy..." he whispered to her, before any of the doctors could be so close to hear him. Adrien was about to say something about the oxygen mask right before Kjara felt it covering her nose and mouth. Adrien winced slightly as Kjara pulled it off. He knew full well that she could breathe easily on her own, but it would at least help the doctors not be freaked out by the girl if she had just kept it on. But the girl had other thoughts. As she pulled the mask off her face, he noticed, for the first time, the tattoos on her face. He most definitely hadn't seen him back at the fairgrounds, and he hadn't noticed them before, out of his worry for the smaller girl. The tattoo on her right cheek was very intricate, it's pattern lovely and curly. And the tattoo on the left. Much simpler, but still very lovely. Adrien knew he hadn't seen them before, because, if he had, he would know it, because they were quite noticeable, and very pretty, too.
Before the doctors swarmed around the girl on the bed, Adrien noticed that Kjara was gripping the railing along the side of it quite tightly. Adrien quickly grabbed it, and managed to stroke it once, whispering, "Calm down, Kjara...please.." before the doctors pushed him away, breaking his contact with the girl. For the moment, at least. He stood against the wall moodily, as the doctors chattered with one another. Ye gods, these guys were stupid. And then a gasp went up around the doctors. Adrien, not being able to see anything, shrugged again, and looked up at the ceiling. Within the rantings and mumblings of the doctors, which had continued frantically soon after the hushed gasp, Kjara's low growl could be heard. Adrien winced slightly. So, apparently telling her to calm down hadn't helped at all.
And then, the doctors were then attempting to hold the girl down. Adrien sighed and ruffled his hair. He wanted to help her, but like the doctors would let him. Besides, he currently did not want to use his powers against them, that would only make matters worse, really. And he didn't have much muscle in the first place, and the big swarm of white coats would most likely be able to overcome him. And then....millions of voices filled his head. He attempted to look towards Kjara, because it had to be her distress to call all the animals to her, to them. All the cries and pleas of letting them in filled his head. Adrien crouched down. He wasn't used to so many animals shouting at him. Sure, being in the forest, as he liked to be, many voices surrounded him, but he could usually focus just on those near him, and listen to them. But this. With so many animals near him, he couldn't concentrate on just a few. As his head started to throb, he felt the beginnings of a headache start. He couldn't handle all the voices shouting, not to mention the thud at his back, the animals attempting to get in by way of the wall.
And then....the thudding went quiet. Of course, one of the doctors had to open the window to see what was out there, and, not to Adrien's surprise, he went white. Of course, any sane human that had no clue of Kjara's powers would do the same. And really, anybody that didn't know what Kjara could do would go pale white. With the doctor's attention diverted elsewhere, Adrien crept back to the bed, one hand still on his throbbing head. He looked down at the girl, and went pale white herself. Shit Kjara.... he thought in a panic. The girl was out cold, again. And he had no clue what to do at this point. He didn't know first aid, didn't know what would help the girl. Doing the only thing he could, he wiped the blood from her nose and mouth with a grim expression. "Fucking do something about this girl without using the IV or anything like that. She freaks out about it. Just make her fucking better," he told the doctors harshly. He highly doubted they'd do what he said, but he thought he'd try, anyways. [/blockquote]

[OOC]Attempted.
Her head was swimming, everything was burning. She wanted to go home. As she lay in the bed with her eyes closed, she took a painful breath. The tube was back in her nose again. She could feel it in her nostrils, and ignored them. She opened her eyes and blinked. She must have fainted or something, because the last thing she remembered was screaming at the animals around her to stop banging around the window. But Adrien must have heard her. She felt so terrible now. She held her chest, looking around the room. The doctors were calm again, and so was Adrien. She was him in the corner of her room, and tried to meet his eyes. “Adrien..” It was so.. Strange sounding here. She need some music before she went insane. She looked around the white plastered walls and shuddered. She hated hospitals more than anything. Ambulances, fire trucks, hospitals, needles, and all that stuff that is in between. Being put on the seventh floor wasn’t the best thing in the world. She clenched her fists watching the doctors shuffle back and forth, talking about something or other and looking at her X-Ray scans on the little light up board. She smiled. That would be a cool thing to have at the house. All bright and pretty, with see through paper to tape up on it.
Ugh. The sheets smelled like old dust, looked like old dust, and most likely tasted like it too. She laughed. She was going crazy, talking to herself like this. But she wanted to get up and romp around as a little wolf. But that wasn’t the smartest thing to do at the moment. She’d get a few strange looks and probably get taken or experiments. She closed her eyes and bite her lip. Risking a look down, she saw that the IV was out of her arm. Where..? She looked around and saw that it was hanging limply around the IV packet. Just sitting there. She wiped her face and took another breath. Everything was calming down. This is how she liked it. Quiet.
Her mind drifted to the things that happened in the week. This would have to be the worst. Getting the shit beat out of you by a non-powered human was one thing. To have it witnessed by someone from your school was worse. What if he went around spreading rumors and saying how weak she was and how she let them beat her up. Well.. She was a dog at that point. And it wasn’t a smart thing to do walking around like a high prissed full blooded dog. But, unfortunately, she was dumb enough to do that. Well, let’s just hope Adrien wasn’t like that and kept his mouth shut. But when her eyes caught his, she smiled.
