A groan issued from Kaden's mouth as he laid back on his bed. He really didn't have anything to do at the moment. Trenton was out, and Asher...okay, he really didn't care about that douche. Hey, the kid hated him, for no exact reason. Okay, so he slept with Trent, was that such a big deal? Apparently it was, to Asher. The little weirdo. Kaden would admit that Asher was pretty cute, but the guy hated him when he had learned on Kaden's and Trent's relationship. Ah well. You win some, you loose some. Wasn't that what they always said? Not that it mattered. If the guy hated him, he hated him. Oh well. Kaden himself had nothing against him, really. So it didn't matter that much. But neither of the two guys were in the room, which made it completely boring. Not that Asher being in the room would help, anyways.
Kaden muttered incoherently to himself as he laid upon the bed, looking up at the bleak ceiling. The gray color that was splashed over them wasn't any comfort to the boredom. Not to mention it looked like a leak would start sometime soon, judging by the darker spot over Asher's bed. Meh. Served him right. But still. Leaks weren't fun, and neither was boredom. Another groan escaped his mouth, and he suddenly sat up. Why be bored? He had friends, didn't he? Kaden suddenly grabbed his cell phone, and then his fingers were flying.
Hey Evan! What's up. I'm completely bored, so come over and hang out with meee~ I'm in my dorm. See ya in a bit.
Okay, so it wasn't the best of text messages he could've sent to the boy, but it was fine. He quickly sent it and then dropped the phone back on the bed. Evan. The kid was awesome. Okay, so he wasn't really a "kid" but whatever. Evan was possibly Kaden's best friend. Not to mention Evan was like....the only guy in the school taller than him. By one inch, as Kaden was constantly reminded. Kaden liked being tall, and Evan just had to be taller than him. Oh well. Evan was also really, really hot. And Kaden just loved the boy. Some might say that they were friends with benefits, as cliché as it sounded. But they were definitely more than friends, and that was for sure. Although...if Evan really cared or noticed...he didn't know. But Kaden enjoyed having Evan around, and not just for his looks. Evan was just...well, awesome, for lack of a better word.
Kaden sat on the bed, swinging his long legs over the edge, waiting for the younger boy to arrive. Biting his lip, he suddenly stood up and grabbed his purple hoodie. He was, surprisingly, not wearing it at the moment. The hoodie was his favorite ever, and it was odd for him not to wear it. Although, he was wearing his red one at the moment. But it wasn't the same. Red just didn't have the same feeling as purple did, as odd as it sounded. Purple just seemed to comfort him more than red did, as awesome of a color red was. But purple was...purple. It was so much better than red, any day. So he quickly pulled off the red hoodie, dragging his shirt up with it. But just as he threw the red hoodie on the ground, he heard approaching footsteps. A grin spread on Kaden's lips and he yanked open the door to see a surprised Evan. "Hi there!" He exclaimed happily, not realizing that he had never pulled back down his shirt, exposing his chest.
[[okay, that was really crappy, actually. I threw in the last bit for fun, there. ;P ]][/blockquote]

The sky wasn’t getting any more interesting; no matter how hard he tried. Evan released a heavy sigh, rolling over in the grass. His days should never be this boring. Not when he had the possibility to be with her. Lately, that’s how his days were spent. Being with Xio doing whatever was how he liked to spend his days. But not right now. No, right now he just wanted to be alone. Maybe catch up with someone other than Xio.
It sounded pretty bad, sure, but right now, he was hurt. Oh so very hurt. As the story would go, Xio was with Nicky Whateverhisfuckingfacewas and they got drunk and apparently did some stuff that Evan didn’t really care to think about right now. Not when the wounds were so fresh and it just hurt to look at them. It felt like his heart was breaking. Into four thousand eight hundred and seventy-six pieces. Yeah, sure they were drunk. He got that. You can’t really help what happens when you’re drunk but that didn’t make it hurt any less. Thankfully the pain was less than it could have been, courtesy of Ivan. He normally didn’t really like the guy a whole lot, but right now, he was starting to rethink that decision.
He heard his phone vibrate somewhere above his head and he groped blindly to find it. He grasped it in his hand, bringing it to eyelevel. A marquee line flashed on the screen. 1 New Text From Kadennn. Wrinkling his nose, he opened it.
From: Kadennn
Hey Evan! What's up. I'm completely bored, so come over and hang out with meee~ I'm in my dorm. See ya in a bit.
It took Evan a few moments to completely comprehend the message, but when he did he groaned, rolling over again, attempting to sit up, only to end in failure. He sighed, groping for the bottle he had tossed somewhere beside him. In case you haven’t noticed, Evan was drunk. Not completely drunk but nowhere near sober, either. Just enough so he wouldn’t remember a thing when tomorrow came. Then again, the boy was such a lightweight, a cup and a half of any sort of alcohol and he’d’ve forgotten his own name.
Even though it took him a few minutes to completely get up, bottle in hand, he finally did and stumbled towards the castle. He didn’t bother to change; hell, he didn’t even bother to dispose of the bottle clutched tightly in his hand or cover the stench of alcohol that was wafting through his breath. Clamoring up the stairs, he arrived up to Kaden’s room. But before he could even knock on the door, it swung open to reveal quite an amazing sight.
Kaden’s shirt was riding farther up than it should have, showing off his tan body and defined abs. Evan’s jaw dropped quite a bit as he stared longer than he meant to. “Er… Uhm… Hi, Kaden,” he stammered out, half of the reason being the alcohol coursing through his veins. A slight blush crept along his pale cheeks as he found himself staring at his exposed skin. But God, he was hot. Sure, he’ll admit it; the boy was attractive. But he knew his limits and exercised them daily. But who knows what would happen today with two attractive boys, one of which was too drunk to know the difference between love and lust.
[[Wow. Okay. So my post sucked. XD Sorry, darling. <3]]

Boredom never was a fun thing, and it was even more boring when you didn't have anyone to talk to. Some might think that you couldn't be bored if there was somebody else to talk to, whether they were right there or a text or IM away, but that was untrue. Just because there was someone to talk to didn't mean you wanted to talk to them. I mean, he could easily text several of his friends, or IM them on the laptop that sat on the corner of the bed. But for one, he didn't feel like it, two, he had already texted Evan, so what was the point really? The boy would be coming over, and he'd just have to put the phone or laptop away. He didn't want to seem rude by texting someone else or chatting away on the laptop when Evan arrived.
But it turned out, it didn't matter, as he had gone to remove his hoodie. First of all, removing his hoodie provided distraction from boredom, easily. Second, Evan arrived shortly after he started to take off said hoodie, which provided the perfect distraction he needed, mostly because he had invited the boy to save himself from boredom. When greeted with Evan's surprised face, he finally noticed that he had forgotten to pull down his shirt. I mean, hey, he was getting the door for his best friend, why wouldn't he forget? A blush rose on Kaden's cheeks as he noticed Evan staring and coughed lightly. "Oh, er, hi Evan.." he trailed off, then suddenly grinned. He managed to see the blush on Evan's face, obviously from the fact that his shirt was still crumbled up just below his shoulders. He pulled it down and looked around, before throwing the purple hoodie, which was still in his hand, on the ground. He didn't have any real reason to wear it, except he liked it. Oh well.
Now that Evan was here, he really had no clue what to do. Maybe he should've thought it through more, but the thought left his mind as he spied the bottle in Evan's hand. Holy shit, the boy was drunk. That might explain the stuttering..well, halfway anyways, if he was to judge by his reaction to the shirt. The boy couldn't hold a drink if his life depended on it, and Kaden knew that from experience, just because he hung out with Evan a lot. After noticing the bottle, Kaden took in Evan's appearance. Holy freaking crap, the boy looked like shit. Kaden ran a hand through his hair and tussled it slightly before grabbing Evan's hand, the one that wasn't holding the bottle, and dragged him over to his bed. "Okay, you're here, which is good!" Kaden stated firmly, dropped Evan's hand as a blush rose over his cheek, realizing that fact. He shook his head and pointed at the bottle. "You know you can't handle that, why're you drinking? And why do you look like crap?" He asked the boy bluntly, a grin still spread on his lips. Hey, he couldn't resist grinning with one of his absolute best friends here, especially since said best friend was extremely attractive.

It was completely unintentional that Evan stared that long at Kaden. But… well… He didn’t even need to explain. Just look at him. Of course, there wasn’t anything else there. Evan knew this well. He was deeply in love, dare he admit it, and he didn’t want to mess that up. They were both just extremely attractive. He quickly shook his head slightly to clear the blush that graced his cheeks and the thoughts floating through his mind, causing him to sway slightly. Damn the alcohol he decided to consume. But most of all, damn the pain he was trying to escape.
Evan allowed himself to be dragged easily across the room, his gaze absently trained to their connected hands. Well, that didn’t help the blush that still lingered over his face. When Kaden dropped his hand, he let a frown replace the once blank expression upon his face. He looked back up at him, swaying a little bit more. As he asked him a question, it took him a few moments to completely understand what he wanted. Blankly, he tilted his head to the side before it clicked. He lifted the bottle in his hand, staring at it for a moment before giggling slightly. “Oh, so that what this is,” he said, followed by another giggle.
Evan wrinkled his nose at the second part of the question, feigning offense. “Y’know Kaden,” he slurred, raising a swaying, unsteady hand. He paused. “You’re so right,” he said, frowning. Evan allowed his body to fall back on the bed, the bottle in his hand miraculously not spilling a drop. “I look like shit and I feel like shit,” he mumbled, sitting up to take a long drink from the bottle clutched tightly in his hand.
A small blush crossed over his face as Evan giggled slightly, looking at Kaden with the most alcohol-induced gaze ever. “I feel so athamed – assamed – ashamed,” he stammered out, unable to straighten out his words, “For looking like a meeess when I come to see you.” He grinned widely, rocking from side to side on the bed. “Because,” hiccup, “Because you’re my bestest friend, Kaden.” He giggled again, poking Kaden in the stomach. “Did you know that I love you?” he said with a grin. “You’re too good of a friend to me,” he said, delivering another poke to his stomach. Holy. Shit. He was so wasted.

Kaden knew that there was no way that Evan liked him. Not like...in a romantic view. It wasn't possible. Kaden knew the senior girl that Evan was dating. And, really, the girl hated him. He didn't know why. He himself didn't hate the girl. Thought she was an annoyance, yes. But only because she hated him. What, couldn't he hang out with his best friend without being hated on by said friend's girlfriend? Okay, sure, he'd admit he really, really liked Evan, more than he should. But there was a line, and he wouldn't cross it unless Evan showed something that meant there was a part of him that wouldn't mind it at all. Kaden was careful with that kind of stuff. He didn't want to loose his best friend, that was for sure. And Evan was his best friend. He wasn't about to cross a line that shouldn't be crossed. However, he did grab Evan's arm as the boy swayed, thanks to the drink that was in his system.
Kaden was very aware how warm Evan's hand was in his own, and tried, but failed, to make the blush that warmed his cheeks disappear. Like it would be that easy, anyways. As he turned to sit, after dropping the other boys' hand, he thought he saw a frown on the boy's face. Then again, he could've imagined it, who knows? Kaden had the urge to roll his eyes at the drunken boy's response. First off, Evan giggling? Slightly creepy. Boys didn't giggle. That was a girl thing, no matter how cute Evan may be. Second off...well, there really wasn't a second point. But still. Evan giggling was creepy. "..yeah...that bottle is a bottle of alcohol, and you can't handle a drop of that," Kaden informed him, failing to suppress a grin at the boy's antics. Even drunk, Evan acted cute.
A scrunchy nose? Totally cute. Evan was cute. Hot, sexy, but cute. But the nose scrunch was totally understandable. Not many people wanted to be told that they looked like shit. It wasn't a compliment. Not unless the person you were saying it too usually looked like less than shit. Then, it might be acceptable. Doubtful, though. Kaden waited for some witty remark to slur from Evan's lips, but it never came. Instead, Evan simply agreed with him. Which, in all reality, was somewhat sucky. Evan really didn't look like shit. He looked as hot as he usually did. But his face pretty much said the Evan felt like shit, as Evan had told him. As Evan took another swig from the bottle, Kaden reached out and plucked it from the boy's grasp. "No more for you, unless you really want a killer headache later," he told him, going ahead and taking a drink from the bottle. Kaden knew he could hold the alcohol better than the younger boy.
Holy crap, the boy wouldn't remember anything tomorrow, should he guess from the way Evan stammered out the words. Then again, it didn't take much from the skinny boy to forget everything after having something to drink. Not to mention there was that giggled again. It wasn't that the sound was horrible, because it really wasn't. It was kind of cute sounding, but a boy giggling was just creepy, even if it was Evan's. And the blush that coated his cheeks? That only made a blush appear on his own. He sighed when Evan finally got the point across after the corrections of wrong words. "It's okay Evan," he shrugged, looking at the younger boy. "At least I'm not bored out of my mind. Or have that annoying Asher kid here." Kaden couldn't prevent the grin that crossed his lips as a similar appeared on Evan's face. Gods, the boy was too cute, really. "Well, I'm glad you think I'm your bestest friend. Or else I would think you my bestest friend, without you thinking the same thing." If that wasn't a confusing sentence, who knew what was. Kaden couldn't help but release a soft laugh as Evan poked him in the stomach. It really didn't hurt that much. He didn't lift weights or really exercise that much, but he didn't have a soft stomach. "Yes, I knew that," he replied with a grin. Even though he knew that Evan didn't mean it that way, Kaden then felt a warmth coat his cheeks yet again. Shit. "I ain't too good a friend.." he replied, laughing again at the poke in the stomach. Really, he wasn't. Kaden thought himself a horrid friend, really. [/blockquote]

Okay, so he’ll admit it. But only right now. Kaden was really attractive. Evan couldn’t quite point out any one thing that made his best friend so damn sexy, because, well… it was a combination of everything. Has he every thought of Kaden romantically? Not really. Has he thought of his as more than a friend? Yeah, a few times. Has he ever thought of him sexually? Oh yeah. But in his defense, the few times he has, they were on accident. Well, all but one time, but that’s a whole other story.
Evan frowned when Kaden informed him of his alcohol consumption level. Or lack thereof, for that matter. He gave the boy a blank stare, despite the fact he understood completely. “But, but, but,” he argued weakly, his syllables slurred terribly. A frown creased his lips before he took another deep drink from the bottle. He made an over-dramatic smacking sound with his lips before snickering slightly. In the back of his mind, the normal, sober Evan was shaking his head in disappointment. Why did he let things get this bad?
"No more for you, unless you really want a killer headache later.”
Evan’s jaw dropped in disbelief as he made to grab for the bottle that was taken away from him, watching in near horror as he took a sip from it himself. He dropped his hands back to his sides, the biggest pout in the history of ever setting upon his lips. “But Kaden,” he whined loudly, “I dun’t care aboot teh heeeaaadache! I just wannnna be druuunk!” In the back of his mind, he hoped to God that he was making some sort of sense to Kaden because he sounded like a five year old with no teeth. But it was true. He didn’t care about the headache. He didn’t care about the inevitable hangout that was awaiting him in the morning. He just wanted to forget. To push aside all those negative feelings he had whirling around inside of him at the moment.
He smiled at Kaden’s statement, despite the fact he really couldn’t piece it all together. All he knew is that Kaden thought of him as his best friend. The thought made that dumb, lopsided grin fall upon his lips. Evan tilted his head, noticing the blush upon his cheeks. Why was he blushing? “Why do yoous think you’re not a good fwiend?” he question quietly, head still on a tilt. Why did he have to sound to obviously drunk? Maybe he should rethink his whole alcohol consumption. “I thinks you’re wonderful,” he said with a definite smile and a solid nod.

If you asked what made Kaden attracted to Evan, he honestly couldn't answer you. Was it cliché to fall for your best friend? Probably, but Evan was just that damn hot, and Kaden couldn't help himself. As they said, you can't help who you fall for. And, okay, so it might've meant something different in Kaden's situation, but it was completely true. Evan was just...so amazing. He had a great personality, didn't care how much of a crazy guy Kaden was, and was...well, honestly, very attractive. He'd admit, only to himself, that he thought of Evan as more than a friend. In what way, exactly, he couldn't say, but Evan was just...always there for him, so innocent, so cute, and just simply attractive in every single way, really.
Kaden watched, with a smirk, as Evan protested against the fact that he couldn't handle the alcohol. Well, it was true, as Kaden knew. They were in the same grade, and had become instant friends. Of course they'd go to a party sometime, and they did. And of course, Evan was out quickly after only a few drinks. And of course, he didn't remember anything the next morning. It was awfully funny that morning, though, when Evan asked what had happened. But that didn't matter. "But nothing. Alcohol ain't gonna get you anywhere." He said right before a laugh burst out at Evan's show of smacking his lips. Honestly, the boy was too cute.
Kaden rolled his eyes at Evan's tactics to get the bottle back. The pout? Totally and undeniably cute. It seriously made Kaden think about giving him the bottle back, but he quickly got rid of that option. "You'll care about the headache tomorrow, I'll promise you," he said, smirking over at the younger boy before taking another swallow from the bottle. "You'll be whining about the noise, when someone is tiptoeing, and some other shit, probably. Not to mention you'll probably be whining that to me." Another smirk graced his lips as he teased Evan. He wouldn't be surprised if that was what Evan ended up doing, really. A sigh escaped his lips soon after. "Will you answer my earlier question? Why are you drinking?"
In Kaden's opinion, he was a horrible friend. I mean, if you looked at it from outside perspective, yeah, you'd think Kaden a good friend. But if you had access to his thoughts? Eh....not so much. He liked his best friend. And in a way that probably wasn't that healthy. And could most likely lead to problems in the future....problems including the fact that Kaden liked the boy as more than a friend. A light blush continued to stay plastered on Kaden's cheeks as he watched a cute, lopsided grin form on Evan's lips. Not to mention how he was speaking. Just too cute, really. Obviously drunk sounding, but still cute. Kaden shrugged. As if he was actually going to tell him the real reason he wasn't a good friend. "I'm just....not.." he replied, looking up at the ceiling. God, how he hated lying to his best friend. A grin soon covered his lips at Evan's next words. "Why thank you very much. I could say the same for you."

"Will you answer my earlier question? Why are you drinking?"
The reason he was trying to hide was finally asked to be put out into the open. The single reason as to why he was trying to drink himself stupid; so he couldn’t remember. He did remember. It was impossible to forget. A frown replaced his previously goofy expression, his body slumping in defeat. Evan looked up at Kaden, pouting sadly. “Xio no love meh,” he mumbled sadly. It was true, he guessed. Well, that was the idea that he got from her anyways. It was the only thing that made sense in his mind, despite the fact that he was beyond inebriated. A made a sniffling noise, as if there were tears running down his cheeks as he fell back lazily against the bed. He stared blankly up at the ceiling for a moment before returning his gaze to Kaden. “She loves someone else,” he muttered surprisingly clear considering he was drunker than hell at the moment.
Well, as the story would go, and as he would tell Kaden, had he not been a drunken mess, Xio had gone off with some guy – Nicky, was it? – when she was drunk and they did some things. The specifics, Evan didn’t care to dwell on at the moment because… Just look at the boy! He was in enough pain as it was. But that’s all it was. He was getting piss drunk over a drunken mistake Xio had made. Well, he reasoned in his inebriated mind, if she could make a mistake, so could he. So bring on the possible situations that could go wrong.
He frowned, sitting up to face Kaden. “Why not? Yoousa 'mazing,” he slurred innocently, his brown eyes wide with wonder. He was being genuine, too, all alcohol aside. Kaden was amazing. Absolutely amazing. He was such a good friend. For example; just now. He took away the bottle from him knowing very well that the boy couldn’t handle a drop. Sure, it was unfair in Evan’s eyes, but he’d thank him come the following day when his headache wasn’t as severe as it could have been. That’s just what friends did for you. He shook his head. "Yoou could say tell meh that, but yooouuu'd be lyang," he slurred with a laugh. Yeah... Evan wasn't wonderful.
Evan sway-crawled over to his friend, smiling the most alcohol induced grin on the face of the planet. He wrapped his arms around Kaden’s neck dramatically. “I looooove youuuu, Kaaadeeen,” he said loudly, smiling widely. He nuzzled his nose into Kaden’s cheek, laughing slightly. This was a mistake. He knew it was, too. No matter how drunk he was. This was not what he wanted to be doing. He didn’t want to give Kaden the wrong impression. And this – whatever it was – was definitely doing just that. "You're sooooo awwesome," he said proudly.
[ and drama ensues!!!!!!! ~<3333 I'm sosososososososososososo sorry I haven't replied. D': I've had this written for SO long but I never got around to posting it. I'll make it up to you, I promise! <3]

Kaden held back the urge to roll his eyes at Evan's reply. He couldn't roll his eyes about his best friend's girlfriend, no matter how much of an annoyance the girl was. Heck, Kaden didn't even hate the girl. He wouldn't mind her one bit, okay maybe a teensy little bit for being able to be with Evan, but she had to be all pissy and hate him, and that was the main thing Kaden didn't like about the girl. He hadn't a problem before, when Evan had introduced them at first, but after a while Xio had just been all pissed and angry with him, and it ticked him off to no end. And she had Evan. They were together, no matter how much Kaden disliked it. Sure, he probably only felt lust for his best friend, but still. She had him, he didn't. End of story. So, it was odd for Evan to talk about the girl in front of him. He couldn't say he was sorry, because really, he found that news pretty damn awesome. But it wasn't like he would say that. How awkward would that be? "Mmmmm..." was the simple reply he gave, lost for anything else to say. Really, what could he say? But his sadly mumbled words, and the slight sniffle, as if he were crying, made him want to hug him, or something to make the kid happier. He hated his best friend being all sad, especially over a girl like Xio.
Kaden was nearly dying to tell Evan the truth. He hated lying to the first friend he had at this place, not that he lied often anyways. He hated it so much. But he just couldn't go out and tell the younger boy that he wanted him, which made him a horrible person. He hated this. Why did he have to put himself in a position like this? Because he was an idiot, that was why. Evan's warm brown eyes only made Kaden hesitate even more about continuing his slight lie. They were so trusting, and so innocent. And it made the boy feel so much worse about everything. Just....just....because. I'm not..." It was getting harder and harder not to tell Evan the truth. A grin easily appeared once again on Kaden's lips at the drunken slur that escaped Evan's lips. He was so damn cute, even when drunk like a dog. "Nonono! You are amazing." Kaden replied, a slight whine evident in his voice. Evan was so much better than he was, and he knew Evan deserved a better friend than him.
A blush renewed itself upon his cheeks as Evan creeped towards him, and wrapped his arms around Kaden's neck. The grin placed upon the other boy's cheeks, although you could tell it was the alcohol's doing, was extremely adorable. A grin spread across his lips. Sure, the boy was drunk and pretty much had no clue what he was doing at this point, but who the fuck cared? "I loooovvveee yooouuuu tooo," he replied, drawing it out just as Evan had done. The blush, the one that had only recently somewhat faded away, deepened as the younger boy nuzzled him. God, this was going to kill him on the inside. He wanted so bad to just...do something. He didn't want to hurt his friend, but fuck he was so damn gorgeous. Kaden's breath hitched slightly as Evan's warm skin touched his own. "You are more awesomer," he replied with a grin, looking down at the younger boy, that adorable grin still situated on his lips. Throwing his caution to the wind, whatever caution there was, a gently stroked the boy's hair. He knew it was wrong. He shouldn't give in to his attraction, but it was too hard. Brushing his fingers along Evan's forehead, moving a strand out from in front of his eyes, and lowered his head to place a gentle kiss on his forehead. Kaden sat in shock for a second, amazed at what he had done. Fuck, he didn't mean to. Okay, so he totally wanted to, and more, but he knew better than that. He tried his hardest not to make things uncomfortable between the two, simply because of his attraction to Evan, and what did Kaden do? He blew it. He sat back up, removing Evan's hands from around his neck. He looked down at the ground, thinking for a second before muttering, "Fuck Evan...I'm sorry....." He hadn't meant to do it, he really didn't. But now, here he was....kissing his best friend on the forehead, making things awkward....again.

He didn’t understand. Why was it that Kaden was so insistent on the fact he wasn’t a good friend? He was a great friend. The finest. Hell, he was Evan’s best friend. And that meant a lot. He tilted his head, hoping that Kaden would understand the boy’s confusion. The alcohol in the back of his mind told him not to bother with it any longer. So he didn’t. “I think yous wonderful,” he muttered in a child-like tone, bowing his head slightly so look at his friend through his eye lashes. “Even if you don’t,” he said innocently, a small smile gracing his lips. End of discussion. It didn’t matter what Kaden thought of himself, because Evan thought he was pretty great. That’s all that mattered.
Drunk or not, Evan had to admit – he liked it. The feeling of his friend’s hand in his hair - and then his lips on his forehead - was something that shouldn’t have felt so good. It was a small, almost friendly contact, but he didn’t mind. It was nice. Simple. He wrinkled his nose in confusion as Kaden backed away, spewing apologies. Immediately, Evan shook his head in reply. “No, no,” he muttered, leaning towards the older boy. “I-it was fine,” he stammered out. He wanted to tell him that it was alright that there was no harm done, but the alcohol on his brain wasn’t doing him very much good. A small blush appeared across his cheeks. “It wasn’t like you – you,” he slurred and stuttered, trying to get his point across. He began to laugh slightly, “At least you didn’t kiss meh. Like… on mah lips or anything.” He smiled, proud his words were making more and more sense.
He wrapped his arms around Kaden’s neck again and smiled. “At least you didn’t do that,” Evan said slowly, his voice lowering itself until he was barely audible. He found his body moving forward again. Closer than friends should be. In muddled brain was telling him that it was okay; that they both wanted this. But in the back of his mind, in the smallest, most sober part of his mind, he knew this was wrong. He knew this wasn’t what he should be doing to his best friend. No, not when there was Xio in the picture - especially since he was in love with her. This wasn’t right. But it happened. He leaned forward all the way, just enough for their lips to just lightly brushing against one another. Evan froze for a moment in shock before pulling away, keeping their faces mere inches from each other. “A-at least you didn’t do that,” he muttered quietly, his cheeks glowing red. Oh, shit. What did he do?
[ psh. your posts are awesome. they make meh happy. :3 sorry. this is really really short and kind of shitty. xD ]

It had to seem odd to Evan that Kaden repeatedly denied the fact that he was a good friend. Kaden knew it had to; there was no way that Evan could easily accept that fact. Evan was Kaden’s best friend as well, but Kaden didn’t think he was deserving of being Evan’s best friend. Of course, the reasons probably weren’t that well known to Evan, and like hell he would just out and say it to him. That was just inviting awkward silence into their conversation, and if it was one thing Kaden hated, it was definitely awkward silences….especially with his best friend. Not to mention it would probably end up with Evan leaving, and Kaden being bored once more. And boredom was another thing Kaden hated. It pained him slightly, to see the confusion in Evan’s eyes, and in his body language. Only a sigh escaped in response to his repeating his thoughts about Kaden. He didn’t feel the need to continue the slight argument, especially since it would only get harder for Kaden as they went on.
Slender fingers ran through Evan’s soft hair, pulling gently at knots, careful not to hurt the younger boy as he did so. For some reason, however, it just seemed…..right. He knew it was wrong to feel that way. This wasn’t right in any sense of the word. He shouldn’t enjoy such a more intimate action than was appropriate. But he did. A blush burned slightly deeper upon his cheeks as he pulled away. That was what was wrong with the whole feeling right thing. As he sat there, feeling so comfortable with Evan lying right by him, partially hanging on to Kaden, more would happen. Things that shouldn’t happen. That kiss shouldn’t have happened, however “friendly” it may have seemed. Part of him, the smaller, more sensible side of his mind, said he shouldn’t have done that. The said that wished he could take the action back. He felt apprehensive as Evan shook off his apologies. Sure, he himself didn’t mind it too much, but he knew better. And as Evan kept shaking these small things off, the small things would become bigger, and more havoc would ensue. But he wasn’t thinking about that, he didn’t want to. ”Y-yeah,” he replied with a crooked grin. It was true that his speech seemed to make more sense, but the thought that he hadn’t done that action made him feel…odd, for lack of a better word.
Kaden knew he shouldn’t let Evan get close again. That sensible, small part of his mind said as much, yelling at him to not let the younger boy any closer. Kaden, however, ignored it, and didn’t hinder his progress. The warm touch of Evan’s skin against his own caused a slight shiver of delight be repressed. He couldn’t give in to his simple pleasures, no matter how much he wanted to. Kaden was watched, with building apprehension and even a hint of excitement, as the younger boy slowly came closer, his approach slowed, perhaps by the thoughts that ran through his head. Kaden wouldn’t know, as he was not a mind reader. Perhaps he was slow because he was trying to appear coordinated, something that was hard when one was drunk, as he knew. And then, Evan closed the distance between the two. It only lasted a little more than a second, which saddened Kaden for a second, before he truly realized what had happened. Evan had just kissed him. Evan kissed him. Evan kissed him. A lowly life form like him had just been kissed by the one guy he really did like. Not to mention the fact that it was Evan who initiated the kiss. You’d think that, in this situation, Kaden would have been the one to kiss the other, but no. The roles were reversed, and the deepest blush that could appear upon his cheeks did so, burning brightly. Kaden stared blankly at Evan, his mind still processing exactly what had happened. He slowly brought up his hand to gently touch his lips, still surprised. Wow… was the only thing that he could think at the time. ”N-no…I didn’t do that….” But I should have…. he added in his thoughts. His heartbeat had quickened at the moment their lips met, and had not slowed, no matter how much he wished it would. He could swear Evan could hear his heart racing in his chest. How could he react to that? Kaden quickly looked into the other boy’s eyes, searching, before swooping down and stealing a surprise kiss from him, the blush seemingly permanent now, upon his cheeks. ”But I did just now..” he murmured, a cocky grin upon his lips. He knew he shouldn’t have done that, but the temptation was too much to suppress. Therefore, why not just let it go?

If Evan weren't so damn drunk, he'd be able to pick out Kaden's thoughts running through his head. He'd be able to hear - and remember - that his best friend liked him. And not in a friendly way. In the way that Evan didn't think was possible for himself. He didn't actually think anyone could like him. Especially his best friend. But that was before Xio. Before Kaden. But that didn't matter. He wouldn't remember this, anyways. He blushed slightly, clinging onto the thought that crossed Kaden's mind about him. Then he smiled as he heard Kaden's 'wow' in the back of his mind. It wasn't that great, was it? Or maybe it was just that horrible. Cue the enormous knot in his stomach.
'It was a mistake!' his mind insisted, formulating excuses. Until Kaden swooped down and kissed him again. Then all brain function seized. Evan grinned, leaning forward as if to follow his friend's lips even after they've been retracted. "That you did," he muttered quietly, staring at his friend with wide doe eyes. Part of him wanted to kiss Kaden again - to feel his friend's lips against his. But the other part of him wanted to run out of there as fast as he could. He was bound to make more and more mistakes with each passing moment. This wasn't going to turn out well at all.
The boy fell back against the bed, eyes still locked with Kaden's. He stared at him for a moment before breaking into an almost shy small. "You has really soff lips, did you know that?" he muttered softly, blushing slightly. God. Evan obviously didn't know when to stop because he was pretty much telling his best friend to kiss him again. Friends don't do that. Well. They shouldn't, anyways.
He placed an innocent look up his face as he sneaked his hand around to poke Kaden's side gently. Evan grinned, as if it were the most amazing thing in the world, and sat up. He pondered for a moment, staring with wide eyes at Kaden, tongue clenched between his teeth. He grinned widely for a moment before lunging himself at his friend, pushing his back against the bed and tickling his sides. To anyone else, they'd know that Evan was obviously drunk, but you know what? He didn't care. He just wanted to forget everything for a little bit. And Kaden seemed to be the perfect cure.
Evan laughed loudly as he continued with his assault on Kaden, tickling him and poking him anywhere his limbs could reach. He stopped for a moment, only to readjust himself so he was practically straddling his hips to hold him down. Not like it made any difference. Kaden could easily throw Evan off of him, seeing as the boy was practically a twig. But not like Evan knew that. Or had thought about that before pursuing with action. He only wanted to laugh, even if it were for no reason whatsoever. He continued poking his friend, carrying on with his ridiculousness, not even thinking twice about what kind of message this was sending Kaden.
[okay... so you're allowed to kick me for being a horrible horrible person. ToT and a horrible horrible RPer. *dies*]

Kaden knew that he shouldn’t have let his friend do that, he knew that he’d only get hurt in the end, liking Evan more than he should. But his lust for the boy, or maybe more, wouldn’t let him stop him, letting Evan continue. Kaden blushed even harder, if that were possible, as Evan pulled away. Kaden had suspicions that Evan knew about his like for the younger boy. Of course, he wasn’t completely sure, but he knew of the boy’s powers, and sometimes thought things that...maybe he shouldn’t. Not within Evan’s presence, in any case. He should know better than to do this, but with everything that was going on, including the slight fuzziness in his brain due to the bit of alcohol he had just consumed, his judgment was impaired slightly, not to mention the growing hold his lust was having on him. It just made everything worse.
A grin slowly crept upon Kaden’s lips as his own kiss finished. It was evident that he had already thrown all caution to the wind with that kiss. He knew it had been a bad idea, but all thoughts of good and bad seemingly disappeared from that moment he had kissed the younger boy’s forehead, all thoughts of such had simply poofed, never to be seen again. Kaden watched as Evan leaned forward slightly after the kiss ended. Kaden stared blankly. Was Evan going to kiss him again? But...no, he didn’t. He simply stayed in that position, looking up at him. ”Mhm...” was the soft reply, the only one Kaden could give in the slightly awkward situation. He didn’t know what else he could say, besides saying that he did once again, and that would be pointless, really.
Kaden watched as the younger boy sat back again. Kaden felt a slight sadness hit him suddenly. Why did he feel like this? Of all people to fall for, it had to be his best friend, didn’t it? And it made things awkward. They both knew it. And these unexpected feelings hit him all the time and he didn’t know what to think of it. Such as now. He felt sad. He was sad because Evan sat back, and hadn’t continued forward, and possibly kissed him again. That sadness shouldn’t have been there. There was no reason for that emotion to appear at that moment, no reason for him to feel sad that his best friend hadn’t kissed him. But it had appeared, plaguing Kaden in the subtlest way it could. Kaden started slightly as Evan’s voice pierced the short silence that had come after his last statement, and the blush continued to stay plastered on his face, as it seemed. ”N-no....I didn’t...then again, it’s hard to know exactly what your own lips feel like to another person..” a low chuckle escaped his lips at his simple remark. It wasn’t that funny, no, but it was something to say, while nothing too awkward could really follow it..he didn’t think so, at least.
Kaden jumped slightly as a ticklish sensation ran up his side as Evan’s slender finger gently prodded it. Crap, he wasn’t going to start this, was he? Kaden was probably one of the most ticklish guys in the school. Perhaps it was a sign of his immaturity, something that was very true of Kaden. Or perhaps he was just ticklish so that his best friend could constantly pester him with his poking and tickling. Kaden looked at Evan with wide eyes, ones that were telling the boy to not do it. But as Kaden searched Evan’s facial expressions, he knew he wasn’t going to get his way. He fell back onto the bed, it didn’t hurt at Evan was so skinny and had no muscle it couldn’t possibly hurt, as the younger boy tickled him. ”Noooo!” cried Kaden in between laughs as Evan continued his assault. It was true that Kaden didn’t particularly didn’t like being tickled. Then again, not many that were ticklish truly enjoyed the experience. But Kaden didn’t go berserk on his good friends doing it. Those acquaintances and people he didn’t know, or even people he hated? Couldn’t stand them if they tickled him. Only his good friends were allowed such a privilege. And Evan happened to be within that group. In fact, Evan was probably at the top of his friends. His absolute best friend. It was pretty obvious that Evan would be of the few that could tickle him without him getting totally mad.
Kaden squirmed, his laughing still continuing, as Evan continued his assault on the older boy. It was true that he could easily push the younger boy off, but like he would. It would probably spoil his fun for him, and then he’d pout, and Kaden didn’t want such a thing to happen, even if Evan’s pouting was absolutely adorable, but Kaden’s standards. Kaden’s eyes widened slightly as Evan readjusted himself above the other boy, now pretty much straddling his narrow hips. Did he realize what he was doing, emotionally, to Kaden? Did he realize that Kaden could easily just flip the situation? And...that’s what happened. Kaden easily flipped the lighter boy over so that he was under Kaden, and he was now on top, straddling Evan, his fingers dancing over every spot that he knew was ticklish, the occasional poke coming in handy, as well. A grin was plastered upon Kaden’s lips as he did so. He knew he shouldn’t have done so...but he did. Was it really a surprise that he had not thought it over one bit?
[ gahcrappy >___<;; I’m a horrible person for keeping you in suspense like this...and a majority of this was written just now...and it is currently about 1:30 am here...so forgive the suckehness of it xDDDDDD] [/blockquote]
