"And as the night grows cold Well, hold me tight, don't let me go"
He hadn't meant to travel out here at this time of night. But the dorm was just too small to contain his thoughts. It was 3 am and the night was terribly cold against Trenton's bare skin, his hands and face completely vulnerable to the breeze rolling through. The sky was free of clouds and the stars winked down at him, the moon shining dully, but just enough to light his path.
It wasn't on purpose, but it had happened. His feet led the way, his body and mind just following along. After a few minutes, he had arrived at the courtyard, the fountain glistening under the moon's light. He stopped to stare for a moment, but the moment hadn't lasted long. Before he knew it, he was moving onward, to a destination still unknown.
There was a faint scent in the air; like a mixture of roses, vanilla and nonexistent romance. Trenton knew he was here. The 'here' in question was the gazebo, a silver wonder standing somewhere off of the main courtyard. His brown eyes scanning over the scene, falling to rest on a bench beneath the canopy. Slowly, he walked towards it, perching himself carefully on the edge.
A small hiss escaped his lips as he sat upon the stone, his trouser's thin layer unable to stand up to the contrast in temperature. Trenton heaved a sigh, staring up at the dark sky, gazing at the pin pricks of light scattered about. He couldn't quite place his finger on it, but something about this specific location - this time of night - made him extremely sad yet terribly calm.
He tugged his jacket tighter around his small frame, exhaling white puffs of breath. Looking over, he scanned the rose bushes, entranced with the vibrant color. The scene as it laid out - perfect, calm and lonely - was nothing more than what Trenton had expected. He let another sigh escape his lips as he let his eyes dance across the night sky, his brain turning and his body unknowing.
He listened to the quiet whisper of wind, as if trying to find the words that were trying to be translated. He frowned. Trenton felt like he wasn't understood, much like the wind. Maybe it was the fact he was just a little too outgoing. Maybe he was a little too affectionate. Maybe he was a little too helpful. Maybe he was this. Maybe he was that. He sighed. "I feel the same way," he muttered to the wind as it gently blew by.

"And pressed in twilight, against our two rooms I'll see you tonight"
Asher let out a deep sigh as he stared up into the darkness at where he could only assume his ceiling still resided. Several hours ago he would have been able to say for sure that yes, this room did have a ceiling, for he had spent well over an hour staring up at it while he waited for the time-waster that was sleep to spread its cold, dreamy hands over him. One of his dorm 'buddies' had long since pulled the blinds closed over the windows though, and he was now stuck with little more then inky black to stare into. How annoying.
For all he knew, the roommate that had committed this heinous crime was not even still in the room. He had vacantly acknowledged the fact that the door to the dorm had opened and closed several times since he had come in to sleep, but whether the people that were giving the door hinges such a good workout were coming or going, Asher had no idea. He wasn't exactly friends with any of the other boys that he shared a room with -- he was friendly to them sure, but they weren't friends -- so he didn't really take much notice of them. They were neither here nor there to him.
Rolling onto his side, Asher spent a moment longer just staring blankly ahead at the nothingness ahead of him, before he pushed himself up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed so that he was seated on its edge. If he was not going to be allowed the sleep that he believed he so rightfully deserved, then he was not going to waste a whole evening just lying in bed and looking into the dark. If he was going to get in trouble for falling asleep the next day during classes, then he would at least make something of it.
Rather clumsily, he lowered himself to the floor beside the bed, and began groping around blindly for the clothes that he knew where there. Well, at least he assumed they were there. Much like the ceiling, his clothes had been there when he had still been able to see, so it made sense that they were now. And sure enough, it took only 15 seconds for him to lay his hands upon the pile of clothes that consisted of the jeans, shirt, jacket, etc. that he had worn that day. Then it took him a further 3 minutes to hurriedly change out of his stripy pyjamas and into his daywear.
Unlike the other boys in the dorm, Asher could be much more stealth about going through the door then any of the other boys. This was because he only needed to focus hard enough to activate his powers, then he could exit without needing to actually open the door and flood the room with the light from the hallway on the other side.
Once outside the room, he set off knowing exactly where it was that he wanted to go. It was a clear night, so of course he wanted to be outside where he could see the stars, and if he was going to go anywhere outside, naturally it would be the Courtyard he would go to. The Courtyard was after all his favourite place in the whole of the Academy, for even at this time of the year there were flowers and plant life to enhance the visuals. Was that showing how extremely gay he was? That he liked somewhere because it was pretty? Probably, but oh well, he'd live.
A short trip later, Asher was exiting the building through a set of doors that led directly out into the Courtyard. Immediately, he was bombarded by the icy air, but he didn't let the chill bother him. On the contrary, he actually thought of it as refreshing. This was possibly just his mind trying to look at the situation in a positive light though. ‘Cause in reality, it was damn cold!
Following a winding path up towards the Gazebo, Asher began to hum merrily to himself as he walked. Almost as soon as the noise had begun to leave his lips though, the sounds were drawn to a stop, as was his walking. From where he was, he could clearly make out the silhouette of someone sitting on one of the bench's under the Gazebo. He frowned a little, wondering what anyone was doing out here at this time of night, his mind not even considering the fact that this person might just be having a sleepless night like himself.
Asher stood as still as a statue for a whole minute before he slowly -- cautiously -- began to continue on his path towards the Gazebo. He wasn't normally one to openly approach social situations the way he knew he probably was now, but he was determined to spend some time out here. If this person wanted any privacy, then they could tell him to leave, and he would, but until this was vocalised, he wasn't going anywhere.
Climbing the few steps that led up to the Gazebo, it was only at this point that Asher realised that he did actually know who it was that was seated before him. Trenton Colville: He was not only one of his fellow juniors, but he was actually one of his dorm mates.
As he closed the gap between them, he gave a small wave with his bare right hand before letting it drop back to his side and speaking in an almost unsure voice. "Hey. You don't mind if I join you do you?" His voice drew to a halt as he stopped besides the bench. He shot Trenton a smile that was as uneasy as his voice had been before ploughing on. "What are you doing out here so late?" He hated that he had asked him that. Sure he was curious, but it was really none of his business.
Tearing his eyes away from the face of the rather attractive -- or stunningly gorgeous, rather -- boy before him, Asher let his line of sight shift down his body and then across the bench. His knee's were shaking in anticipation to sit down (or was it the cold that was making them shake that way), but he dared not take a seat until Trenton said that it was ok for him to be there. He shot a pathetically hopeful look back at Trenton, while he waited for either the acceptance or rejection that was about to come.

"it's only real 'til it ends as the stars fall on our hands"
Maybe it was the stars and their captivating light that held his attention before he realized he was being approached. Trenton looked up through the lenses of his red-rimmed glasses, his brown eyes resting upon a familiar face. Maybe a face that was more familiar than he wanted to admit. Asher Harris was a fellow junior and roommate. And quite possibly the most attractive boy in the dorm, if he said so himself. He quickly swept the thoughts away, unable to respond properly with the facts in his mind. "Hey. You don't mind if I join you do you?"Trenton quickly shook his head, scooting himself over a bit, even though he doubted he needed to. “Hey! No, no, not at all,” he said gesturing quickly to the spot beside him before shoving his hands back into his pockets to protect them from the cold. He couldn’t really help but stare at Asher, he’ll admit. In the dim moonlight, just the way the light seemed to make a sort of heavenly glow around him, made him seem even more gorgeous. "What are you doing out here so late?"The question was one even he couldn’t answer. There was no answer. So instead, he only shrugged. “Dunno,” he mumbled, looking away briefly before looking back up at him. “Couldn’t sleep,” he said as his eyes stared up at Asher. “Same question goes back to you,” he said with a small smile. “What’re you doing out so late?” he wondered, seeing it fit to return the question back to the inquirer. "It isn't right for me to paint your picture Every night, but I do (I cant find sleep)"
Trenton was so cute. A sexy kind of cute, but none-the-less cute. Even in the cold night air, Asher began to feel a little hot under the collar as he gazed at the other boy. It was ridiculous that he was feeling this way. There were plenty of good looking guys at Winterthorne, and he managed to control himself around them. Yet he couldn't help but let his hormones get the better of him tonight as he looked on at Trenton. He was just too cute.
In an attempt to cure himself of this hotness, he looked away from Trenton, his eyes searching for anything else to distract him from the other boy's good looks. He ended up settling for looking at the roses that were around them. Though they usually seemed so beautiful to Asher, tonight they just seemed like a poor substitute for what he really wanted to be looking at.
Lowering himself onto the achingly cool bench, he could feel Trenton's eyes on him. Or maybe he was just imagining that. After a moment of staring determinedly on at the roses, he couldn't help himself any more, and he swung his head back around so he was facing Trenton once again. Immediately the hotness returned. Whyyyyyyy did he have to be so devilishly attractive? Oh, he almost swooned!
Of course that would be stupid though. Trenton could never possibly feel the way Asher would like him to. And as if to prove it, Trenton replied to Asher's words in a somewhat bored and uninterested manner.
Asher's heart fell a little.
Trying not to let his sorrow show, he attempted to act normally when Trenton returned the question. "The same really... I couldn't sleep so I decided I would come out here." Biting his lip a little, he dropped his eyes down before adding a little more information. "I like to watch the stars sometimes, you know." He hoped the other boy wouldn't sneer at this. Lack of interest or not, Trenton was still cute to him right now. If he began to start being a jackass, Asher thought that the cuteness would disappear for him.

"sing me to sleep I'll see you in my dreams"
It was almost impossible for Trenton not to notice the slightly uncomfortable look upon Asher’s face. But it wasn’t the normal sort of uncomfortable looks, like socially uncomfortable, but almost like the sexually aroused and uncomfortable look that Trenton was so used to seeing. The specific look was something he could draw for you in the dark. Yes, he was the familiar. His eyebrow arched subtly, a smirk dying to pull on his lips. Technically, he could say he felt the same as Asher looked at the moment. In order words, he felt a little warmer under the skin that if it continued, he wouldn’t need his jacket for much longer. He watched as Asher avoided his gaze, instead setting it elsewhere before taking a seat. As he turned back to face him, he smiled, taking in those too-familiar facial features. Trenton nodded as he spoke, taking in every word like a sponge. Another thing he would never admit – he loved the sound of Asher’s voice. He wasn’t quite sure why, but there was something so endearing about his low tones. He nodded in agreement with his statement, almost catching a brief note of standoffishness. “Yeah,” he said quietly, his voice low. “I can see why.” Trenton’s gaze slowly retreated up to the heavens where the suns of other galaxies twinkled gently. “It’s so…,” he breathed after a moment of silence, “Beautiful.” He let a small smile tug on his lips before he could help himself. This was his best way of getting away. He loved sitting out at odd hours in the night to stargaze. But this was possibly the first time he ever watched the night sky with someone else. Well, someone that he felt at least a tad bit (or more) of an attraction to. A moment of silence passed between them before Trenton spoke up again. “I hope I hadn’t woken you up when I left,” he said quietly, almost afraid to speak too loudly in fear that the Earth may shatter. The night felt far too delicate for loudly spoken words. Especially with someone as stunning as Asher sitting beside him, he didn’t dare speak too loudly. “I know I’m not exactly the most graceful thing on the planet,” he commented with a gentle laugh. "Done it warning Done it now"
Asher's eyes widened just slightly with surprise as Trenton spoke. The words he said. And the tone he said them in. They were so perfect. It seemed that Trenton Colville was a romantic, who would've thunk it?
He was hit by the sudden desire to just throw himself on top of Trenton, and to kiss him. He could almost picture the two of them rolling around the floor of the Gazebo, their arms and legs tangled together in one big knot, and their lips pressed so firmly together that they might have been super-glued that way.
Of course he could never actually do this though. Such an act would require some nerve on his part, and some interest on Trenton's. It was pure fantasy, and that was all it was ever likely to be.
Almost sadly, Asher took his eyes off Trenton and followed the other boy's gaze up to the night sky. His eyes may as well have been closed though. Despite his love for the stars, he couldn't seem to focus properly on them tonight. Not with the distraction that was Trenton beside him. So when Trenton spoke again, he only too readily brought his eyes back down to the other boy.
Asher was so busy trying to stop the mental image of Trenton and him 'getting it on' popping back into his head that he didn't pay much attention to what he was saying. This resulted in his words not receiving the filtering they would have in any other situation.
"Don't worry. What you lack in grace you definitely make up in other areas." The words had barely left his lips when he realised exactly what he'd said. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped open a little. He could have slapped himself. What the hell was Trenton going to make of what he'd said?
"I mean. You didn't wake me. I have been awake all night." Asher's cheeks blossomed to a bright red colour as he spoke. He knew that the correct answer had come way too late. Yet he couldn't help but hope that Trenton had somehow missed his earlier words. Perhaps he had gotten really, REALLY lucky?
Trying to ignore the burning in his cheeks, Asher bit down into his lower lip -- Almost to point that if there was much more pressure on it he would draw blood. All he had to do now was wait for the disgusted or questioning look from Trenton that would show whether he had heard him or not.

“it’s true that I’m a silver shadow and you are always on my mind.”
Trenton let his eyes wander about the sky, attempting to distract himself from Asher. He tried not to let it bother him too much by settling with the fact he could just look at him later. Or sneak a peak when he wasn’t looking. To anyone else, it may have sounded like Trenton actually had feelings for Asher. But, of course, this was impossible. After all, he only had physical feelings – lust – for people. Asher was no exception. Or at least he liked to think so. "Don't worry. What you lack in grace you definitely make up in other areas."Immediately, Trenton’s eyes shot downward to meet his, wider than he had intended. His eyebrow jumped into his hairline at the statement, a smirk placing itself very openly on his lips. He stared at Asher for a moment, as if to read the look upon his face. Oh yeah he could. The way his jaw dropped, accompanied with the slight blush across his cheeks, it made him shiver a bit. Just imagine what he could do with that mouth. He shook his head for a moment, to rid his thoughts and to brush off the awkward tension surrounding the statement. “Yeah, I bet they could. Very warm areas,” he muttered, his eyes trained on the stars above. If his mind was starting to play dirty with him, he’d let it. Why not let Asher join in on the fun? Trenton let his second statement hang in the air before returning his gaze back in Asher’s direction. He nodded slowly, as if to say he comprehended, not agreed. “Well, I guess that’s good,” he said with a small laugh. “Because that means you probably didn’t hear me, either.” He eyed Asher for a second before saying with a small laugh, “I can be quite loud with things.” He fought back the grin threatening to invade his lips, keeping his eyes firmly plastered to the sky. "I'm the wolf today (hey, hey, hey) I'll huff I'll puff- I'll huff I'll puff I'll blow you away"
The heat of Trenton's eyes as they darted to meet Asher's was almost overwhelming. Although he wasn't exactly shocked that Trenton had picked up on what he had said (he was had hoped he wouldn't hear, sure, but he certainly wasn't shocked that he had), Asher was still a bit surprised that he had replied the way he did; I mean Trenton was really spunky, and Asher must of looked rather homely next to him.
Being the somewhat introverted semi-loner that he was, regardless of some of the interesting thoughts that were going through his head, Asher couldn't help but break Trenton's gaze. Looking away quickly, attempting to make it seem like he had heard something in the distance, a barely noticeable smile just beginning to surface on his soft lips.
He pondered silently what would happen if he were to turn back and grab Trenton in his arms. Then again, if this was where the conversation was going, Asher wasn't going to make it easy for Trenton. No, no. He would much prefer to play a little.
Thinking quickly, Asher turned back. "Warm areas?" he questioned knowingly. "You mean like your arms?" Sure, it wasn't as subtle as it could have been, but there were some more obvious areas that Asher could have meant if he'd decided to be so openly crude. Besides, he was already somewhat flustered to begin with.
It was at that moment that Asher realised he was still smiling. So in an attempt to be just a tad less obvious, he quickly dropped the smile and returned to gently biting his lower lip. He knew that this quick change was a case of too little, too late, but he didn't want to give up on the game already.

“and no one has to know I’m your getaway and a little bit more than you can take I can make everything feel so damn good”
Trenton felt the need to continue on with this almost useless bantering. It wasn’t like it was a harm to either one of them, and if anything, it was a form of flirting. Well, by Trenton’s standards. Flirting without consequence and maybe some gain. He wasn’t sure. He did these sorts of things mindlessly and it always ended up alright. This would be no different. "You mean like your arms?"He let out a small chuckle at Asher’s almost innocent reply. He won’t lie; it was almost… cute. Really, really cute. But it also made his stomach twinge pleasantly. Could those possibly be butterflies? The mere thought made Trenton kick himself mentally. Over and over again. He smiled slightly, returning his eyes to the grounds instead of fixing themselves on Asher, as much as he’d like for them to stay there. “Yeah,” he muttered nonchalantly, “Or lower.” There was a smirk that played along the shadows on his lips, not daring to show itself fully. He chanced a look in Asher’s direction, seeing a smile quickly drop from his lips, in turn the bottom piece of flesh being worried between his teeth. For a moment, Trenton stared at his mouth, trapped in a daze, before he caught himself and quickly turned his gaze back to the heaven and horizon’s collision point. After a moment of lingering silence and fragmented thoughts, he made a small humming noise of acknowledgement. “Y’know what I noticed, Asher?” he said quietly, tasting his name on his tongue. “We’ve never really… talked before.” It was true. They lived in the same dorm. They’re in the same grade. Yet… they’ve never really spoken to one another formally or even casually. The fact alone was enough to make Trenton frown, but he’d never let it show. There was a small twittering feeling in the pit of his stomach at the mere thought of just being able to talk to Asher… on a normal plane. Maybe it was a hallucination or just pure fiction, but he would have guessed that, yes, these really were butterflies. Oh God. “It’s kind of sad,” Trenton breathed, praying that Asher hadn’t heard him. [/blockquote]

"I always catch the clock it's 11:11 And now you want to talk it's not hard to dream"
Trenton had rewarded Asher's decision to play innocent with a laugh that rang beautifully in his ears, and before he was able to stop himself, the smile he had been trying to hide had sprung back onto his face. Damn it! Why was he so utterly hopeless at this? It wasn't as if he had never flirted - 'cause he would definitely describe what they doing as flirting - with other guys before. Maybe it didn't happen every month week day, but it did happen occasionally.
Unable to stop himself, Asher's eyes trailed down Trenton's body, heading for the 'lower' place that he assumed that Trenton was talking about. His eyes only rested upon the crotch of Trenton's pants for a second or two before he blushingly tore his eyes away. Despite the hasty retreat, he had had enough time to plant the mental image of the tight, dark material that covered his groin inside his head. That was something he would maybe think about at a later date. Now though he needed to focus.
When Trenton spoke again, he seemed to have dropped the casual flirty tone that suited him so well. Trying not to be too disappointed by this, Asher cocked his head to the side, listening. To be completely honest, he was a little surprised by the remark. Especially the last comment, which he was not completely sure that he had really heard (his mind did like to play tricks on him sometimes). Again, he was struck by the knowledge that he knew absolutely nothing about Trenton.
He allowed the silence to hang in the air for a second before he spoke. "Well I guess we will have to do something about that," he said thoughtfully. "Here," turning his body to fully face Trenton, Asher swung his leg up and over the bench so that he was mounting it like a horse. Then sliding forward towards Trenton, he stuck out his hand offering a handshake. "Hey. I'm the real Asher Harris. Looking forward to getting know you." He let out a light laugh, wondering Trenton was going to take this.

“maybe you have to sleep in somebody else’s bed maybe you have to be searching for something”
With his eyes still trained on the horizon, Trenton had to forcefully keep himself relaxed as he felt Asher’s eyes briefly crawl over his body. As his eyes swept over him, so did a deep chill. It ran down his spine, stirring up the butterflies buried deep within his stomach. It took almost all of his willpower not to look up and catch Asher in the act of checking him out. Whatever willpower that was left was used towards not pinning him on the ground and assaulting him vigorously. After he was sure that his eyes have been removed from his body and the butterflies have all been swatted for the time being, he turned his attention back to Asher, briefly scanning over him. Trenton’s eyes attempted a lock on his, just because he wanted to see how… beautiful, dare he say, he looked in the light. His attempt was quickly met by failure and he threw a glance over his shoulder, as if casting those… nearly romantic thoughts from his mind. There was no room for those types of thoughts in Trenton’s mind. Oh no. Well, at least that’s what he liked to lead others to believe. "Hey. I'm the real Asher Harris. Looking forward to getting know you."He watched Asher swing his leg around, scooting himself closer. As the words left his lips, he couldn’t help but put a smile on his own. It was just so… innocent it was wonderful and refreshing. Swinging his leg around, he mimicked Asher’s position, bringing himself close enough that their knees were just ghosting each other. He cast a glance at his hand for a moment, before clasping it gently. Trenton shook his head as he shook his hand. “Wait,” he said, feigning realization. “The ’real’ Asher Harris? Are you telling me that I’ve been checking out an imposter this whole time?” He let out a laugh, as if trying to pass it off as a joke. Little did Asher know, it wasn’t. Definitely not. “Then I guess that makes me the ‘real’ Trenton Colville,” he said with a grin. “And I’m looking forward to getting to know you, too.” Reluctantly, he let go of Asher’s hand, placing both of his own upon his knees. Honestly, he was at a loss. His mind was turning, thinking of what he should say. But, really, he hadn’t a clue. Normally, the most he ever got out of a person was their name before they’re hitting it off in other departments. Sure, there were traces of those intentions placed with Asher, but he almost wanted to say he had hope for something else. But who was he kidding? [/blockquote]

"'Cause I feel so safe hiding my face Like ugly birds in a beautiful cage"
Asher's fingers itched to pull at the zip of his jacket and release some of the heat that he could feel building up underneath his clothes. He restrained himself though and just watched as Trenton mirrored the way he was sitting and slid even closer to him. He had absolutely no idea how Trenton was managing to keep so cool and in control. Perhaps this flirting was really only one sided. He sure hoped not.
When Trenton took a hold of his hand, Asher could almost swear that he felt sparks shooting between his hand and the surprisingly gentle hand that belonged to Trenton. He wondered momentarily whether Trenton could feel what he was feeling - the idea that only he could feel this electricity seemed blasphemous to him - before he let himself be distracted by the words that he spoke.
Despite the joking tone which accompanied Trenton's emerging words, Asher's breath caught in his throat for a moment. The sheer thought that Trenton would ever check him out sent shivers down his spine. Hell, it did more then that. It froze him up entirely so that he could do nothing but look dreamingly on at Trenton. If it weren't for Trenton pulling his hand free of his loose grip, then he probably could have sat like that for the rest of eternity. For of course, he never would have pulled his hand free of Trenton's himself.
Quickly gathering his thoughts, Asher managed to speak in fairly level voice. "So tell me something about you then. Tell me a secret that nobody else knows." Grinning sweetly at Trenton, Asher couldn't help himself. He just had to ask. "Like, have you really been checking me out?" He knew that Trenton had most probably only been joking, but still, without confirmation of that he would dwell on his words.

“things are shaping to be pretty odd”
Maybe, just maybe, Trenton thought that Asher was the only person alive that could be so undeniably cute and so irresistibly sexy all at once. The mere idea boggled his mind and he silently gave Asher credit for being able to overcome the feat. The feeling of Asher’s hand in his was nothing short of stomach turning. But in the good way, I assure you. In the best way possible, actually. The warmth of his skin against his own made the butterflies release into his stomach, whirling about uncontrollably. The moment his hand was retracted, he craved more contact. More of his skin. And preferably on his own. The stated question was mulled around in Trenton’s head for a few moments before he formulated an answer. But it was never verbalized before Asher spoke again. His tone was sweet and curious, to the point it was amusing. Trenton wasn’t one to tell a lie. So he didn’t. “Really?” he asked, shrugging, “Of course. Why wouldn’t I? Have you seen yourself? You’re gorgeous.” He grinned a little bit, leaning backwards on his hands. He realized that the sight was slightly obscene, but he was pretty sure Asher wouldn’t mind. Well, he hoped, anyways. “Well, there was one secret put out in the open,” he said, smiling widely, “Now one of yours.” [[ okay. so that was the shortest post on the planet. I'm sorry! But it should be easy to reply now. :P <3333 ]] [/blockquote]

"You look like a lover You feel like a nervous wreck"
Trenton's words and the position he had settled into were all too much for Asher. He didn't know whether he should be making a joking comment about Trenton's words, or just enjoying the site before him. It was just all becoming too overwhelming for him, so he was just feeling flustered and hot. Trenton seemed blissfully unaware of Asher's inner turmoil though, and calmly turned the question back around on him. Asher was glad of this though. He was able to cling to the request as if it were a life vest thrown to help him get through this difficulty.
So feeding completely off the hot, sexual energy that was coursing through his mind, body and soul, Asher boosted himself up - bringing his knee up onto the bench and using that to lever himself up higher with it. With this extra leverage, he was able to bring himself forward so that he hovered over Trenton's body. Placing his left hand on Trenton's shoulder so the he would be able to keep his balance and not end up crashing down on top of the other boy, Asher brought himself in close to Trenton; stopping only when his lips were within an inch of his left ear. Keeping his voice low, Asher spoke slowly and softly. "My secret? I'm really not as nice or as innocent as everyone seems to think."
Asher hung in that position for almost ten whole seconds, completely aware of how close their bodies where, and even more aware of how easy it would be to kiss Trenton right now. Strangely, it was the realisation that Trenton would be able to feel his warm breath on his skin that made him pull back. That thought freaked him out a little, although he wasn't exactly sure why. Whatever the reason, it had sent Asher back into the straddling position he had only just left.
Asher didn't let this minor feeling of trepidation show though. Instead he had a smirk planted on his face as he watched Trenton. "Tell anyone that and naturally I will have to kill you." He let his head loll back casually for a second, looking up at the roof of the Gazebo before speaking again. "You know, it would be a real shame if I had to do that." He would have followed this up with a wink or something, but the idea to do that seemed much too annoying and cheesy to him.

”your secrets out and the best part is that it isn’t even a good one”
Trenton was pretty sure he felt his skin crawl away when Asher’s hand connected with his shoulder. It was just his shoulder, his mind scolded. But then he realized the position that Asher was taking. His eyes widened a bit as he felt his eyes widen a little more than he had intended. Slowly, his eyes traveled up and down the length of his body, taking in his features and the risqué position he was taking. His breath hitched in his throat, his eyes closing just a bit as he felt the pleasant tickle of Asher’s breath by his ear.
"My secret? I'm really not as nice or as innocent as everyone seems to think."
A shiver coasted down Trenton’s spine. The way that Asher was just hovering over him, his mouth near his ear, he just wanted to tip his head back and beg for Asher to kiss him. He wanted to beg. He bit his lip, stopping himself from letting out a small moan begging to be let out. He let out a shaky breath, almost afraid to breathe too hard. Instead, he let out a low sort of whimper, almost mentally kicking himself for letting it slip past his guard. “Well,” he replied, voice low, “Maybe we should test how bad you really are.” He bit his lip, wriggling his eyebrows suggestively.
When Asher resumed his original sitting position, a frown fell upon his lips. He rather liked the feeling over Asher hovering over him, almost like stating his dominance. Almost. He highly doubted that he could be dominant. But Trenton rather liked the idea of that. He shook his head slightly, ridding the thought from his mind… For now. A smirk replaced his frown at his playful comments. “Kill me?” he scoffed playfully, smirking all the while. “Come now, darling. I don’t think you could even think of doing that. Let alone lay a finger on me.” A grin pushed aside the smirk as the hidden innuendo fell upon his words. Not what he wanted, but it would do.
[[haha. so I've had this written for a while. I just never posted it. xD]]
