I took a step back as the room was filling up and I was packed against these people that were tossin' up a strong vibe
“Crap, where’s my shoe?!” Dani ran frantically around her room and threw things around. She had only just clean her stupid mess the day before when she had lost her jacket only to remember that Sammii had taken it. It had basically sucked when she got back from scaring people and there was a lovely mess for her to clean up. Took her forever because she stopping and getting distracted. Poor girl lost things so easily. And now here she was, destroying everything once again because she couldn’t find her little black ballet shoes. Psh. Did you think she was going to wear heels? Hahaha. Yeah, right. That’s like asking for disaster to ensue. Dani pulled out a couple of shoes from the closet and shoved the aside. “Yes!” She kissed the top of the shoe and held it up triumphantly. She was almost ready for the big dance. It only started in like twenty minutes.
It was definitely going to be interesting. She had initially started out with a date. She had been planning on going with her best friend Sammii but then, that got shot to hell. Okay, no really. She just knew he and Ezra had a thing for each other and opted to let them go together. She had to admit, they were cute. And Sammii was pretty excited to be going with him. Then something happened and evidently Sammii wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to get there on so she was dubbed as Ezra’s date until then. Ezra was cool. They bickered a lot but they were getting to be pretty close. At least she was losing Sammii to someone good looking.
She stepped in front of the mirror to check out her outfit. She looked okay. Not amazing, but hey. She wore a simple black cocktail dress that hugged her skin nicely. Not too trashy looking, just elegant yet good enough to party in. Her mask was a collaboration of black and deep purple and as she looked at it she smirked and shook her head. Nothing ever matched her hair. Oh well. There was no one there to impress anyway. She had the worst luck with guys, so why bother? Dani took one last look in her mirror before making sure hair and make up looked okay. Her make up was awesome. Just freaking awesome. Jay had swung by and done her up in a bright purple and dark black; little swirls of eyeliner decorating her eyes. And her hair was great too. She had done it herself. It was a simple hair do. Down and kinda scrunched looking. From far away you think her head was on fire but it was just her crazy, blazing, orange and red hair. Hair was her thing. Once she had her purse, a small duffel bag she would leave in someone’s car (gotta jeans in case) and made sure she had some money and her awesome walkie talkie looking cellphone she headed out. She imagined Ezra was probably still getting ready or grumbling about how he didn’t like tuxes. They had planned to meet up there so they wouldn’t have to feel awkward without Sammii there. Fine with her, she would just get there and find someone knew she while she waited for him.

Adrien grumbled as he slid the black pants on his long legs. He wasn't much for formal wear, and this was the worst. Heck, he probably wouldn't even be going to the stupid dance if it weren't for the fact that he might score a night with some chick. Or even a guy. Whatever worked. It was all fair game to him. He'd be good if he got a night with somebody, but it truly didn't matter to him what happened or what didn't happen, but getting a night with somebody, that would be great. That was the plan, and the whole reason behind wearing the stupid shirt and pants. Okay, so the invite to the dance said suit, but he didn't like wearing white, and another black jacket would look idiotic. He would take it off quickly anyways, if he did. So he simply wore black pants, a black shirt, a white and silver tie, and black shoes. It all fit together nicely, and it looked a hell of a lot better on him than a white shirt would.
Adrien stood, having pulled the pants up. He grabbed a black leather belt, with a silver buckle, and slipped it through the belt straps on his black pants. He slipped the tongue of the belt into the buckle, and pierced the small hole with the buckle's prong. He tightened it, and ignored it after that. He grabbed the tie that hung on a hanger nearby and tied it around his neck, pulling it tight. No, he wasn't some idiot that couldn't tie his own tie, thank you very much. He wore real ties, and could tie them easily, unlike some guys, apparently. He slipped his socked feet, black socks, of course, into the black shoes that lay by the closet. Ugh, how he hated getting dressed up. Especially the shoes. He much preferred wearing vans or converses, not dress-up ones. And having to wear them this time sucked big time.
Adrien grabbed his mask bitterly before walking into the bathroom, where a large mirror loomed over the sink counter. He really didn't want to do this, it was extremely annoying, but the chance was too great to ignore. Not to mention a lot of people would probably get drunk by the night's end, or even before. Looking into the mirror, he grumbled again. His mother would probably cry or something at the sight of him, saying how handsome he was or something. That woman had so many mood swings, especially about him, so she'd probably be yelling at him after she said that. Adrien shook that from his head. He didn't care about his mom, so why the crap was he even thinking about her? He slipped the black and silver mask onto his face, fitting the string around his head, and tying it tightly. The mask was black and silver, and extended upwards on the right side, spiking upwards. There was black and silver glitter that was popped up around it in fancy swirls. There weren't many, but there were a few for a bit of fanciness without it seeming too girly. Overall, the mask was fantastic.
Adrien looked into the mirror again. Ugh. The mask looked absolutely fantastic on him, as well as the rest of the suit and tie. The colors went together well, and he was sure several girls would look his way at the masquerade. And maybe even guys. Who knew. He pulled his side-swept hair out from under his mask and pulled it over so it covered part of the mask. His short hair on the backside of his head was spiked up. It wasn't with hairgel, it had grown pretty natural by now, and it looked really great. He looked himself over again before grabbing a set of his keys and heading out to the Secret.
There was a mass of people outside the club. He guessed it was kind of normal for a large party like this. There would be a lot of people here. Some waiting to get inside, others waiting outside for their dates or friends. He looked around at the crowd of people, seeing if he could spot any of his friends. He sighed and stuffed his hands into his pants pocket and took another glance around. He didn't see any friends, that was for sure. However, one figure took his interest. No, she wasn't somebody he was interested in, but it was a girl he had oh so much fun picking on. She was a human, the lowest of the low, and she got ever so mad when he picked on her. A malicious glint shone in his eyes as he strode over the the unnatural red-head. "What? Is the poor little human all alone out in the cold, with nobody to hang out with?" His voice was velvety, his words filled with a mocking tone as a smirk crept upon his lips. Oh, this would be fun. [/blockquote]

It was never about the songs it was competion. Make the biggest scene, make the biggest... Now she was starting to get annoyed. Ezra still wasn’t here [that she knew of] and he wasn’t answering his cell phone which was making her a bit agitated because yes, it was freezing cold out here and she hadn’t thought she would need to bring a jacket. Why bother, she was going to be inside, where it was warm anyway. She glanced around, she really hoped Ezra showed up soon. She didn’t like having to stand there alone and feeling stupid. Dani sighed. She was really she could at least spot someone she knew. Anyone, because as soon as she spotted one of her friends she was going to join them. She knew Jordan had a date. Zachy somethingorother and she didn’t see Monster, Logan or Alice anywhere at all. What the crap? She figured the would surely be here. She wrapped her arms around herself to keep away the cold. Well, this was fun. It wasn’t horrible, but she would rather be inside where it was warm. And she couldn’t do that because she and Ezra were supposed to meet at this spot and go inside together so they wouldn’t have to search for each other. That jacket she’d forgotten sound great right about now.
Dani cringed at the sound of his voice. She knew exactly who it was without even having to turn around. No one else was as obnoxious as Adrien Killingston. "What? Is the poor little human all alone out in the cold, with nobody to hang out with?" She turned to him and made a face. Like nails on a chalkboard, she didn’t even like to think about him. Just being around him made her blood boil and that temper of her flare. “I see you’re still an ass since last time I saw you.” Dani was not even in the mood to speak to him. She still had a chance to stay happy and have fun and that mood always died when Adrien came around. She didn’t even know why he hated her. Just because she was a human, God. Like that even mattered! He just liked to piss her off. Dani rolled her eyes. He really did take pleasure in messing with her. Half the time she didn’t even say anything to him--like now--and he still felt the need to start things. “I'm waiting on my date---" She began defensively before changing her mind. She didn't have to explain herself. "Gee, why exactly did you come, Adrien? Surely it wasn’t to ruin my evening…” She blinked at him in mock interest.

we've got a big, big mess on our hands tonight... It was frigid up in the German mountains, it was true. However, Adrien most definitely didn't feel it. For one, he had long sleeves on his black dress shirt, which protected him in the first place more than Dani. But another thing was the fact that he brought the warm winds of the castle with him. Oh, with his weather control, he could do so much with the winds and with clouds. Heck, he could even create a tornado should he will it. Although, the tornado would only be small. Although he got better and better at controlling his power, a full-size tornado was still difficult to create. That would be something that he'd have to work on even after he left the Academy. But regular winds, they were easy and fun to work with. He would change the pressure of the wind, and even trap winds, as he was doing currently with the warm winds that once resided in the castle. He trapped them around himself. Sure, it made his hair dance a bit more than was necessary, but it kept him nice and warm in the cold air around him.
A smirk ran across his lips as the girl cringed at the sound of his voice. Then she turned to face him fully, making a face at him. An eyebrow rose at her retaliation. "If you aren't careful, your face will stay that way. Not that I care anyways." Of course he didn't care. Who in their right mind would care about such a pathetic girl like her. He nearly snorted at that thought that ran through his mind, flashing by quickly on fleet feet. "Aw, an ass? I thought you were a bit more creative than that." Sure, he didn't exactly appreciate being called an ass, but it was still too fun for him to pass up any way to get her angry.
His eyebrow rose again as she started a sentence. "Your date? You actually have a date? Well, call me surprised at that. Who is it? Some other petty human?" He nearly laughed at the thought that she had a date. If it wasn't some other human, it would be someone that took pity on the girl. Hah. "Like I'd come anywhere specifically for one itsy bitsy human girl. Naw, I came to have fun, and you simply added to it." Okay, it was a bit of a pathetic answer, but like he could tell her that he loved to pick on her. Not that she had already probably guessed that, but he'd never admit it. That would be extremely stupid, really. Dani might think the wrong thing, really. Misinterpret everything, and how horrible that would be. [/blockquote]

You take shots, my back's turned, you're gut-less
He didn’t look very cold compared to her. She envied the jacket he wore. No, she didn’t like it, she just knew he was probably warmer than she was. Ezra needed to hurry up so she could take his jacket from him because her little body couldn’t seem to gather any heat. This was one of those times where she really wanted to kick herself for not being smart and bringing a jacket. The stupid part was that she had thought about it and told her she wouldn’t need it because silly her, she figured Ezra would arrive on time and they would head inside. If he was already in there she was going to kill him. Or make him buy her some candy or something. But for now, all she could do was wait look around and hope that he showed up because Adrien, like always, was pissing her off and she was halfway ready to use her powers on him and not care what happened.
“You’re a moron,” She muttered lazily. She was doing her best to act as if she didn’t care what he said to her, but in all reality he was getting to her like always. Dammit. She didn’t understand why he found it so amusing to piss her off! She hadn’t even said a word to him and here came along, ruining her evening before it eve began. “Yes,” She growled. “An ass. Jerk. Douche. However you want to look at it.” She snapped. Oh, he knew he was making her angry. He was enjoying it. It wouldn’t have been so bad if Ezra had been here to keep her calm but he wasn’t, no was he? Dani closed her eyes for a second and took a breath. She wasn’t going to get mad, she wasn’t….
“He’s a demon, thanks, and his name is Ezra.” She should have just kept her mouth shut and hoped he went away but she couldn’t help it. That’s how she was. She instinctively bit back whenever someone pissed her off. “What do you have against humans any--” She stopped herself and growled. It didn’t matter. “Gee,” She smiled sarcastically. “Glad I make you evening so much for enjoyable.” She glared at him. “Why don’t you go be a jerk somewhere else? Like in hell?” She didn’t need him here, reminding her insignificant and lame she was. She hadn’t even been asked to dance because of interest. Ezra was only taking her because Sammii might not make it. You couldn’t get much lower than that.

this table has taken a turn for the worst Adrien was glad for the powers he had. He could control weather...somewhat. He could keep himself warm and safe, and could use winds in near everyday use. The winds were probably the most useful part of his gift. And he could electrocute people with lightning should he want to. Not to mention he could even shapeshift, talk to animals, and control fire...somewhat. The fire he knew he got from his mother. His other powers...he didn't really know. He figured he had the shapeshifting from his dad, but he didn't know anything about his father. His mother made sure of that. His mother hated his father's guts, and even Adrien's, really. Just because Adrien was spawn of that man. But really, Adrien was glad to have not met him. He seemed a horrible person. But the point was, he liked his gifts, and was glad to have them.
He did enjoy picking on the girl. He didn't know exactly why, but it always provided him a bit of fun, even when he hadn't been planning on any fun, or her being there. But it was way too much fun to suddenly give up. He rose an eyebrow, again, at her reply. He definitely hadn't expected such a....boring statement. "....not quite a moron, I would say. Nah, that's more you." Okay, a bit lame, but it was hard to come up with a good reply to such a bland thing, seriously. "Ah, there are those better words. Knew you had it in you to manage something, no matter how petty they are." Seriously, he didn't like being insulted, but it always worked out for him in the end, no matter what.
"Ezra Hart? Is taking you? Wow, you must've been desperate. That, and he felt extremely sorry for you," He replied with a laugh. That was surprising, that was for sure. He knew Ezra, and the guy was pretty cool. And him taking this girl was absolutely hilarious. He knew that Ezra had become a bit more soft hearted towards humans, but he knew Ezra, and knew that it was somewhat odd for him to take this girl. Jeez, the guy definitely was getting soft. A smirk crawled upon his lips at her response. "Well, I'm glad too, I guess." He replied with another laugh. "Mmm, not in hell, no. But I could be a jerk in the Secret, but that's no fun now, when you're not in there to explode like always." [/blockquote]

It's not like this hurts that much anyway
If she could have used her powers against right then she would. Chances are though, she would have gotten in trouble. And if she didn’t get into trouble she would probably go too far and land him in a loony bin just like dear old dad. Ah, dad. How she hated that man with every fiber of her being. She hated him for the times she had hit her and then times he had yelled at her and the way he had constantly reminded her why she hated herself more than she hated him. Every chance he got he was there, telling her, yelling at her, recapitulating to her that she was the very reason her mother was dead and she was the reason that everything had turned to shit. She was the fault. She was the problem. Her. Always. And never once had she objected. Never once had she tried to stop him. She always just stood there and took it. What else was there to do? He was right. It was her fault and she deserved what ever happened to her. But there was no way she deserved to have to put up with Adrien Killingston.
He had way too much picking on her. Maybe he didn’t have a life or something because every time she turned around there he was, waiting to throw another insult at her. Is that what he did all day? Work on stupid things to say to her? “Oh, SHUT UP,” She growled. God, he pissed her off so much. No one else except that Evan kid that was trying to get with Xio had ever pissed her off this much. (And maybe her dad, but he didn’t count.) She was so close to pushing him. Or maybe she would slap him. No, that was too dramatic for such a petty situation, but she was going to smack him in the back of the head if he didn’t shut up soon. DanI turned to him once more and rolled her eyes. “Why are you still here? Seriously, do I look like I want to hear you stupid voice?” She couldn’t come up with any good insults today. Jeez, what was wrong with her? It was probably because she was upset that Ezra wasn’t here. Had he forgotten her?
“YES.” As much as she had tried not snap and let on that he was making her angry she couldn’t help it, she did. She was NOT desperate. She wasn’t supposed to care what he though but she did at that moment. “Actually, we’re friends and he’ll be here any minutes.” Why couldn’t she just keep her mouth shut. Now it would be obvious that that was who she had been waiting for all this time. Hell, maybe she was as pathetic as Adrien said. DanI looked away from and brought her focus to the ground. “Go away, Killingston. I don’t feel like wasting my time on you today.” She took another step away from him to signal that she was trying to dismiss him. The odds of him leaving? None.

Although he may seem like the type to constantly use his powers for evil-doing....okay, so maybe he didn't really seem like that type, not unless you happened to be a human and he was talking to you. He wasn't evil, and never had been. Rude, yes. Mean, yes. But evil? Never. Anyways, he didn't constantly use his powers, well, except for wind, which he used for everyday kind of things, but he hadn't harmed anyone with his powers, not much anyways. I mean, in CYP class, they had to use their powers, and sometimes they had duels. They were controlled, of course, but that didn't stop them from harming the other person even a bit. But seriously hurt someone with complete malcontent? Never.
It did seem like he never had anything else to do but pick on the girl, but he couldn't help it if she popped up everywhere he went. He was there first, usually, and then she appeared, perfect to pick on. Okay, sure, he didn't have to pick on her, he could do other things, better things, but most of the time, he was bored anyways. Besides, the opportunity was oftentimes too good to pass up. A grin grew on her face as she exploded. "Ah, but then I couldn't annoy you, you know? And that would simply be no fun," was his satisfied reply. He had finally gotten her angry enough for her to somewhat yell at him. That was usually what he wanted to get. "Why am I still here? Hmm...dunno. No, it doesn't look like you want to hear my voice, which is exactly why I'm here, which actually answers your first question."
His smirk only grew wider as she got angrier. "That is indeed impressive. Would've never thought that." Oh, she most definitely was desperate. She hadn't had a date before, it seemed. That, or she had lost the one she had, for some reason or another. And then Ezra apparently felt sorry for her. "A friend? Interesting friend. And if he's supposed to be here, why isn't he here already? Seems to me that he's forgotten you." And that would be a blow, he knew. Sure, she probably had some doubts already, but for him to come out and say it, most girls would get really, really angry. Not only at the one who said it, but also at the person who had forgotten. He couldn't wait to hear, and see, her reaction to those words. "Mmm, well, problem is, I don't think that's going to work. While you may not feel like wasting your time on me, it's too much fun for me to give up now, you know." Okay, lame, again. But sometimes, good retorts could be hard to come up with, especially with weak words like that. [/blockquote]

As far as you're concerned the next breaths that you take should be underwater
Honestly, it shouldn’t have been this annoying. She was used to arguing with him constantly about nothing in particular. He was everywhere. She simply could not escape him and any other day she would have dished it out because she could take it. Petty insults and remarks didn’t hurt her feelings. Dani just wasn’t one to get mad easily. It took more than words to blow her fuse but Adrien was better at that then most. Still, he didn’t scare her one bit. So what if she was human? If she wanted to she could mess him up. But she wasn’t that mean. She never was. Revenge was one thing. Self defense was another. Like when her dad had had his hands wrapped around her throat. That was justified using her powers in her mind. Unfortunately, being bothered did not. Having no morals was starting to sound appealing.
Dani put a hand to her temple and pushed the bangs away from her face. Sure, sure. Since when did she care what was fun for him? She wasn’t here to make him happy. She could care less what he wanted to do. All she she wanted to do was go inside--or better yet, go back to her dorm. “Get a new hobby,” She shrugged and smiled in that sickeningly sweet way. Argh! There was no getting rid of him! She knew one of them was going to yell at the other before this ended and it would probably be her yelling at him because that usually his ultimate goal. One would think that on such a night he would let her have some kind of peace but no, he just ended up trying ruin this too. One day she was going to explode and do something she would really regret because he was starting to really get under her skin and it was not in a good way. Seriously. If he got any closer to her, she was going to punch him. “I’m not kidding,” She glared at Adrien, a hint of warning in her voice. “Keep on and I’m going to shove my fist through your face.” Push her far enough and she would react. Today was not the day to so.
She cocked her head to once side, eyes wide. “You think? Wow, now that is impressive.” Jesusfuck, he really did know which of her buttons to push. She hated people think she was desperately because she most certainly was not. Wanting to be loved did not equal being desperate. “That’s none of your business.” Okay, so really had no idea where Ezra was but she was smart enough to not say so. That would give Adrien more reason to be a jerk to her. Whatever he was trying to do was working. He was right. Ezra had to have forgotten her, it was the only explanation. Dani clenched her teeth together and turned more away from him. She was not going to let that get to her. She was not going to be stupid and cry. Did she want to? Yes, she really did. And she didn’t cry easily but today just hadn’t been good for her and then Adrien came along and now she had been forgotten. All of this was just too much for even her. It was enough to make anyone feel as bad as she did. But that’s where she a other’s differed. She was better at hiding her emotions. She blinked back the tears until she looked normal again and glared at the sidewalk under her. Now she really wanted to go back to her dorm. Adrien had officially ruined her night and Ezra had unknowingly helped.

He noticed that she was a little down. Was he sorry? No. He just could tell that she wasn't her usual self, by the way she reacted to his words. Not to mention her retorts in general. To be honest, they sucked in all comparison to all her comments before. The ones she used against him. The ones that nearly burned with venom, all the ones she had used ever since.....they met. To be frank, Dani was his favorite target. Mostly because she actually responded to him, more than just running off and crying or something, but fought against him, and the rude comments he made against her and her race. She actually did something that made her more interesting than everyone else, better than all the other humans. Which was why he often teased her rather than all the others, just because she did something.
Adrien watched with a smirk as she pushed away her bangs. Her reply didn't surprise him in its resigned tone. She obviously wasn't feeling good. Sure, she nearly always said something like that, but never in that tone that completely said that she didn't want to be here. And not simply talking to him not wanting to be here, but totally not wanting to be here. Big difference between the two, and he could tell it. He simply shrugged. "I could, but then there would be nobody there to ruin your day, ya know?" Crappy, crappy, crappy. Why did today have to be a bad day for her? Why, oh why couldn't have it been a normal freaking day. Maybe then he'd be able to have something to work off of. He could tell now, however, that someone was going to end up shouting. It would probably be her. Sure, she annoyed him just as much as he annoyed her, but it really got to her more than it got to him. And it had always been that way. Occasionally, he'd yell first, but most often, she did. It was simply the way it went. "Ah, so you do have some fight in you, after all. I highly doubt you'd be able to do such a thing, anyways." He knew she couldn't. Well, she could, but she wouldn't be able to. He could stop her with her powers. He could stop the fist, or even change into a smaller animal before the fist could make contact. And there was no way she could stop it.
"Hahaha," was his sarcastic reply. Damn, this girl really did get on his nerves, no matter how much she may think she didn't. Just because he was better at hiding that fact, she most definitely unnerved him to no end. Of course, he could think. How else did you think he was able to get through to senior year? Sure, even if he failed, he'd stay here, at least to keep control of his powers, but he wouldn't be recognized as a student. And he most definitely was a student. Okay, he didn't get the best of grades, but he did mostly get A's and B's, which was good. But still, there were several C's, but that was just because he didn't apply himself to all subjects. What could he say? They were boring. He raised his eyebrow once more at her reply. "None of my business? Sure, but that's not going to stop me. And that's just a sorry excuse for you not knowing where he is at all, which still means he has most likely forgotten you here, all alone in the cold, with nobody but me." He grinned, his eyes sparkling mischievously. She was digging herself into a hole with that comment. He had easily backfired it, straight into her face. Then she moved away. Which meant that she was nearly to the point of being defeated, once again, by him. Hell, she was probably about to cry, or something stupid like that. Most of the time, he got her to yell. On occasion, however, he got her to the point of crying. Not that she actually showed that she was crying. No, she hid it, he knew. But he did know she was crying. He watched as she looked down at the sidewalk below them, a smirk on his lips. This was too good.
OOC--holy crap, I feel so bad for making Dani crryyy...nearly, anyways. =[[[ okay, once done with this, I'm totally making the other thread....I'm no good at mean...xDD

This time, you're gonna get back a little more than you paid for.
Despite the complete hate she was burning for Adrien right now, Dani was a bit disappointed. She always had good comeback for him. Was she going soft? Ugh, no way. Feeling bad was one thing…be nice to Killingston was another. That would not happen as long as she had control over her own mind. She had tried that once already. The first time she had met him and he had chosen to be a downright jerk to her for no good reason. Well, she thought she would give him another chance. People have bad days, ya know? But nooo, this wasn’t a ‘leave me alone, I’m mad today’ kinda thing, this was a ‘You’re a human so I hate you because I’m an asshole’ kinda of thing and that she would not stand for. If she had been a bitch to him to begin with then yeah, it would be totally understandable. But Dani wasn’t like this by nature so he had it coming and she was going to dish it.
It ridiculous how he had nothing better to do than to waste her time. No, she wasn’t kidding. He probably had no life and this was the highlight of his pitiful days. Seriously, she would wouldn’t doubt it. I mean, who actually hung around just to hear another person yell? Dani glared at Adrien and deathly at possible and turned her moon on him. He was winning and she didn’t want him to know. “You know,” she turned to him, her eyes wide, her smile full of pity. “It’s sad that you actually stick around and wait for me to make you day.” Take that. She knew it was going to piss him off that was what he wanted so now she he was going to it. Meh. This wasn’t working. I mean, on the outside yeah, she looked and sounded like Dani again but it just wasn’t the same. Pretending to be normal didn’t actually make you normal. She growled and took an angry step toward him. Maybe she couldn’t do it but she was sure as hell going to try and if she went to prison for Murder, then oh, flipping well. “You know I’ll try,” She defended. She believe all that crap about how guys were always stronger than girls and blah blah blah. Ooh, and if punching him didn’t work, she would purposely drive him insane because everyone was afraid of something, even Adrien--and knowing Adrien--it was probably something stupid like monsters.
Yeah, no. Pretending was doing anything for her at all. But at least she was getting to him. Nope, that really didn’t help much either. Where was Ezra? She involuntarily looked around, searching for that set of jet black hair. It was getting late, her arms were about to fall off from the cold and he was still M.I.A. Not cool. She turned back to her arch nemesis. “Ugh, shut up, Adrien. What does it matter to you anyway?” She couldn’t take it. First Sammii got taken from her, then Ezra forgot her, now HE had to come and mess with her. This was supposed to be fun and it was getting worse and worse by the minute. She truly felt like crap and if he said one more word she was going to explode or scream (lets hope she doesn‘t scream) and of course, he did. Danni’s eyes narrowed and she took a breath. “Alright, I get it! I GOT LEFT, OKAY? I’M PATHETIC AND OBVIOUSLY NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO BE REMEMBERED, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?” Was he? This was what he wanted to see from her, right? Trying to keep the tears from her eyes, she bit the inside of her mouth and took a deep breath. She was not going to cry, she was NOT.

Why in the world was he still out here? I mean, teasing her only gave so much pleasure to him. Okay, that was a lie. For reasons unknown, he just loved being around her, annoying the crap out of here, doing everything he could for her to snap. He didn't know why he did it. Okay, sure, he really liked making her yell bloody murder, just because he could, but why did he try to in the first place? What was in it that was so enjoyable to him? He sure as heck hadn't any clue as to why he did it. Sure, he was just as rude and mean to other humans, because they invaded the world he lived in, but he enjoyed pissing Dani off more than any others. It was odd that he did. She was pretty much his enjoyment in life, besides music. And other things....but when bored, she was always there for his enjoyment. Odd, really.
If she was attempting to piss him off as well, which was usually the case, it was working. He could be inside instead of talking to her. But if he just walked off after talking to her, it definitely would make him seem weak, seem like he was saying that he had lost to her. And he most definitely hadn't, so he wouldn't seem that way. Like he would give in to a girl, making her think she's high and mighty. Like that would ever matter. Of course, he most definitely wouldn't tell her that. Why would he? It would be a waste of his time and hers to say such a thing. He felt like punching that glare right off her face, but didn't give in to the urge. The best was yet to come. "Ah, but that is where you are wrong," he replied with a grin covering his lips. "You see, unlike you, I have a life. I do things, and then you simply appear, alone with nothing to do. So I actually will do something so you actually have something to do. But with the way I do it, it makes it seem like I'm the one with nothing to do, when, in fact, that is you." Not true, lies. Then again, pretty much every cruel remark was technically a lie. But it was all for the sake of pissing her off, which was a good goal to get to. A smirk covered her lips as she said she'd try. "Yes, you can try all you like, but you'd never hit me, you know." She couldn't, there were too many things he could do to stop her.
A grin spread across his lips, to replace the smirk, as she only got angrier and angrier. He could nearly feel the anger in the air. Okay, lie, but seriously, he could tell she was getting really angry. He shrugged in reply. "It doesn't, but it's too much fun to just let slide, ya know." He couldn't resist making more remarks about stuff like that. Especially ones that were just perfect for pissing her off, like he did. Soon enough, the words burst from her mouth, aimed straight at him. His grin remained on his lips, only growing wide with triumph. He had made her extremely pissed, and she had yelled. Perfect, just perfect. "Well, you getting left is obvious, is it not?" He inquired with his malicious grin. "Naaah. Content, yeah. Happy, don't think so. Just a couple more notches and I could be perhaps considered happy." He replied, watching her. He watched as she simply stood there, looking down, looking like she was about to cry. Did he feel bad yet? Nope. It would be hard to make him feel that bad. [/blockquote]

This is the voice that I was given and if you don't like it take a long walk off of the shortest Pier
Someone desperately needed a new hobby. Someone being Adrien because after a while, this crap really did get old. No, Dani was not in the mood to be insulted repeatedly and have dirty looks shot at her. The was a whole mass of human’s out there, just waiting to be prodded and pushed and insulted and whatever else his sick little mind could think of. But no, he had to stay here and ruin everything like always. Where did he come off being such a ass to her? She was only bitchy to him because he left her alone. A little bit of peace and quiet would be nice but as long as Adrien was alive, she had the feeling the most would end up getting up another crappy insult and shove or two. Seriously, she would break his nose if she had. And if for some crazy reason she could break his nose, she knew plenty of guys that were willing to help her out and do it for her.
She really hoped she was pissing the hell out of Adrien. She hoped that he wanted to slap her right now or shove her into a wall because as much as he would want to do any of things, she knew he wouldn’t. Yeah, he got to her. And it was only a matter of time before she struck back and pissed him off as well. She just had to go in at the right angle. Hit the right nerve. Wouldn’t be long now. She doubted he would leave. Nah, that would seem like he was letting her win, but soon enough, she was sure he was going to get pissed and raise his voice back to her. The only downside to this was that they both knew how to get to each other so basically they would both end up angry in the end. Oh well. Dani crossed her arms and made a face that was filled with Disdain. If she could reach over and wrap her hands around his neck, she would set. All she would have to do is squeeze until his lips turned blue. “You know what? You should stop talking,” she retorted. “you only make yourself sound like a complete .” She nodded in pity. “I see your lips moving but all I hear is shit coming out of them. How sad.” How sad, my ass. Like she would ever feel anything but hate for him. “Yeah, well,” Dani racked her brain for a good comeback. No luck. She glared at the boy. He was right. He was taller and more than likely stronger than her too. “You’re still a fucking moron.”
“No, I don’t know,” she growled. She flung her arm out to point to the building before them, jumping with music. “There are like, I don’t know how many other fucking humans in this school and you fucking choose me to torture. No, I don’t quite get it, please, embellish.” Fucking hell, this guy had so sympathy at all. Dani counted silently, willing herself to stay calm and not do something she would regret. He was literally a word away from driving her insane and she was praying to whatever god was out there to keep Adrien’s mouth. For both of their sakes. But well, that would have been too easy. Only a sick jerk would get off making her feel this way. Enough. Dani had surely had enough. She spun her flat dress shoes to meet Adrien in his tracks and pushed against him as hard as she could, knowing that she wouldn’t hurt very much, but that it would hurt even if just for a few seconds. “Fuck off,” she yelled, not bothering to restrain her voice. “Just fucking leave me alone, Adrien. God, do you know how much you make me want to throw myself off a cliff. Thank you, I realize I’m pathetic. I realize I obviously have no friends since none of them are her. I GET IT!” She screamed, her voice cracking from the feat of trying not to cry. She grinded her shoes into the concrete to turn. She was going to go inside before she cried, because, if she blinked, she would cry. No, she was going walk away and she was going to pretend like life was great even if she had to spend the night alone.
