A tall, brunette walked into The Secret, the new and hottest dance club at Winterthorn Academy, and smiled at her creation. It was marvelous. The silver poles were surrounding the DJ’s music stand, and the dancer’s were preparing for their night of nonstop dancing. Not to mention the bartender restocking the worlds finest liquors and alcoholic beverages. Yes, this night was going to be sweet. Blair Keynes was wearing a blue silk dress that went down to her feet, and complimented her figure perfectly. She was rather curvy and the dress just fit her curves amazingly. Smiling she walked towards the center of the dance floor. It was gorgeous sight, now all she had to do was wait for people to arrive.
Taking out her phone she flipped open the screen, and stared at the screen. It was 7:50, people should start coming soon. She went to the text area of her phone and clicked create new text. Avery, where the hell are you!?! her perfectly manicured finger nails clicked on the miniature keypad and she pressed send. Blair couldn’t host the party by herself, well she probably could, but she preferred to do it with her best friend Avery Huntington. Blair walked towards the stage and grabbed the DJ’s microphone, ”Okay guys the party is starting in 5 minutes, so get to your positions and play the music” Blair spoke clearly and firmly into the microphone and stepped down the stage stairs. Her mood perked up slightly as she heard the music begin to play. She walked towards the bar and ordered a quick shot of vodka, which she drained quickly. She really couldn’t wait for the party to start. After all, Blair Keynes was a party girl

Cupcake was in her dorm room getting ready in a beautiful pink gown that had been made for her by the costume designer from the POTO movie which she loved. She smiled and looked at herself in the mirror as she made sure her hair looked like Christine Daae's. Checking her makeup that she slowly put on one by one she would take pictures when her pink camera but would get a professional one done to for her nad Cory's sister, mom and dad. She put on her beautiful 14K white gold diamond snowflake necklace on around her neck and slipped her equally beautiful matching 14k White Gold Diamond Snowflake earrings into her ears. Smiling more she put her white gloves that almost reached her elbows, moving from the mirror she got her mask soon after. Sitting there quietly on her bed she waited for her brother to arrive to get her so they could leave for the masquerade. She loved the dress that had been made for her and hoped to make her brother's jaw drop when he saw her in it. Once he had come she smiled seeing his jaw drop she she giggled softly at him and the Lowe twins were on their way to the masquerade to have so much fun.[/size]

Bitting her lip and running her fingers along the dress her friend Blair had lent to her, she smiled. She really hardly went to dances, hardly ever wore a dress. Last time she wore a dress was when she had her first date with her last girlfriend, two years ago her freshman year. So, Bliss hadn't worn a dress since really, finding no certain need. So, yeah, you get my point. It filled Bliss with excitement. Sure, she probably wouldn't catch someone's eye tonight unless it was a guy's, but Bliss didn't care. Tonight was about friends, excitment, a night to remember. The question was if with a bunch of gifted people... If that was a good thing or a bad thing. For some, a night full of passion, romance, love.. For others, break ups and depression. And, others... Just a normal party night. For Ivory she just pictured romance, especially with the guy she, according to her, didn't like more than a friend. Ha, lies. Gosh, Ivory sucked at lying. Silliy little girl.
Pulling on the dress over a set of black lingrie, Bliss smiled, nodding at her reflection in the mirror as she left her hair fall over her shoulders, straightened. Smiling at her reflection as she applied some black make up, she nodded, fangs showing as she flashed a teethy grin. She really could not belive she was going to the dance. At least it was a friend's party and not someone's random party. Grabbing the mask, Bliss pulled it on, smirking a little. Admiring herself as the dress showed her curves and made her look thin and beautiful, Bliss nodded to herself before leaving her dorm a smile on her face the whole while.
Arriving and seeing really only Blair, she smiled, running to her friend and giving her a huge embrace. "Thank you so much for letting me wear the dress! Thank you! I love the mask too. Oh, just thank you Blair!" Smiling and pulling away, she showed a huge grin, showing her beautiful teeth and fangs, sighing. "Well, your demon in shinning armor should be here soon... I hope... So.. Good luck with that," she said as she ordered herself a shot of vodka, well more like a couple, gulping them quickly.

Blair smiled at people started arriving to her party. But the only person she didn't see was Avery, and she was starting to get alittle anxious. Blair signed and ordered another shot of vodka. She savored it this time, taking tiny sips and feeling the liquid burn her throat. "ahh" Blair breathed and smirked. She couldn't wait for the night to really start, when all her friends were there and she would be dancing the night away and having even more fun with her date. Blair smiled at the thought and then spotted her blonde friend, Bliss. "Bliss!" Blair greeted, draining the rest of her shot.
Blair looked at the girl up and down, taking in her dress. "Anytime Hun, that dress looks amazing!" she said and smiled. Her mother had bought her that dress for her 15th birthday, obviously it was alittle large on her...but she eventually grew into it. "Ha ha. He better be here soon, or i will personally make him wish he never met me" she said and smirked. Blair wouldn't get stood up, and even if she did, there was no way in hell she wouldn't get revenge. "Ready for a night of pure drunken fun?" she said and laughed. Blair wasn't looking forward the hangover which would pay her a visit in the morning, but she knew it was worth it. It always was.

Moving his sleeve up, he took a quick look at his watch and the words "Crap!" left his lips as he realized he was late for the ball that was going to take place that night. There was really no problem in getting late to the actual ball, the only problem was Blair, she would murder him on the spot if he were to made her wait too long, besides, she was one of the hostesses so it would look bad on her image if her date was missing or if he stood her up. Taking a last look around, a grin crossed his face as his eyes moved around and watched the desert splendor, for some, it could be nothing but sand, but where he was, it made things way more interesting. William was standing on top of the head of a large Sphinx with a starbucks cup in his hand that was empty by now, after learning about his teleportation ability he started traveling around the world all the time, sometimes just for some moments to enjoy a coffee in Italy or a beer in Germany.
In one second he was in Egypt in the other he was in his dorm room in Winterhorne, already walking toward his closet and taking out his suit and mask. After taking a quick shower, he started dressing, he had a great white Hugo Boss suit with a silver tie and an also silver mask. Some minutes later he was already fully dressed and he sliding his white gloves into his hands, he disappeared once again to appear in front of the secret. His light blue eyes could be seen through the opening on his mask, everything went great with his figure and looks and if possible, he was looking even more attractive at the moment than he ever did before. Will was used to this kind of parties, back home in Paris, things like this happened almost every weekend, each with different themes it's true, but masquerade balls were the most popular, he and his twin sister used to grab everyone's attention when they entered the party with their beautiful features and amazing clothing.
William ran his fingers through his hair as he entered the night club, it was amazingly decorated something that didn't surprise him at all having Blair and Avery in charge of it. Looking around, he searched for his date, he didn't knew how she was dressed and with the masks it made things a little more difficult but as his eyes moved toward the bar, it was obvious from the figure and the hair that there she was. Walking to her, he placed one hand gently on her waist and his lips close to her ear as he placed himself behind her "Good evening love." he greeted with a grin in an almost whisper "You look amazing" he added before giving her a small kiss on the cheek and walking to her side "Good evening too" he stated to the blond girl with a charming smile and a slight nod of head.

Smiling, Bliss nodded. "Yeah. I almost didn't want to leave my mirror. I haven't worn a dress in... Oh... Two years. not even a casual dress!" Laughing, Bliss grinned, drinking down the other shot of vodka, smiling at her friend. "Hmph, I think he will be... But, also... Remember my powers. I probably won't have anything to do but listen in on you and him talk. I mean, seriously... Probably all of the demons got a date, like Theo did. And, probably all of them are taken... So, I have nothing better to do than listen in on everyone's conversations." Yes, Bliss did this often... She listened to any conversation she was really into listening to. Like, if there are whispers, she listens in and finds out some very awesome stuff. She can tell if it's a rumor though, fake and such. I mean, it's pretty obvious...
Watching a demon walk up behind Blair, she grinned. Really, he was handsome and good for Blair. She could already see them together... Oh, they were so cute! Bliss really just felt glad for Blair, and she knew Blair was happy. So, no Theo needed someone and Bliss herself... Meh, maybe Dalieh... Wait... Now she was being stupid. Oh well. Hearing his whispered words and watching where his hand was placed, she rolled her eyes. "Think you're getting something on the first night bud?" Hey, she was a little bit protective over Blair... She didn't want Blair to get hurt, because then, she'd be bitchy... And bitchy definatly was not a pretty site. "And, hello. I'm Bliss. Bliss Diegel." She would not greet this demon with anything, oh no. She was friends with most of the demons but William was different from the rest. So, she and him weren't exactly in hate, but they didn't like each other. Or, well, Bliss didn't like him. It wasn't William's fault, Bliss just didn't like his vibe. But, whatever made Blair happy would be okay.

{ mask } x { suit }
An hour before the dance.
Tick, tock, tick, tock. The clock tower was the only thing aside from racing cars and howling cats that sounded through the evening, and aside from the occasional drunk man who toppled over a few garbage cans, the demon seemed pretty much alone in the back streets. He tugged on the edge of his black suit jacket, which was, perhaps, the most ridiculous thing he’d ever seen himself wear, as he walked down the desolate street. His shoes splashed against a small puddle, which had been filled from the rain earlier, and his dark hair (which had the tips re-dyed navy blue for the occasion) bounced up and down as he walked. The spikes, as usual, were slicked forward; the multiple piercings caught the dim light that radiated from the lampposts, giving off a blinding light before dying out into the darkness again. The dark blue eyes didn’t much catch the light, but instead darkened every time a lamppost came around. They were too focused on their destination to care about simple things like light.
As the demon ascended the stairs, he silently wondered why he had come to this place for a mask. He knew of at least ten different stores that were bound to have something useful for the Masquerade that night, but instead he found himself climbing the creaking, dusty stairs made of broken, dark wood that even splinters stayed away from. Stairs that he hadn’t climbed in three years. Stairs that he thought he would stay away from for the rest of his life. Yet, as he passed the second and third floors, the occupants of certain rooms watching him as he slinked by, he knew that visiting here first was the right choice. First of all, the mask he wanted was his grandfather’s (and therefore had some value to it). Or, what was believed to be his grandfather’s. He never knew, what with all the stories his mother had made up about the old items she stored in the back of her closet. Secondly, he needed to check up on Alessandra. Whether it was out of love, which he doubted, or curiosity—to see if she could survive for this long—he didn’t know. But he would find out.
“Alessandra?” The demon at the top of the stairs paused a few moments before calling out her name again. “Alessandra...?” Pushing his way through the semi-open door (never a good sight, but a regular one) and looking about, he stepped carefully around shards of broken glass and through the living room in an attempt to find his mother. A rustling sound came from the western side of the small apartment; so, as he navigated around toppled-over furniture and piles and piles of junk food, he came across a figure huddled over, clutching a small purse. The figure looked up at him, and he realized the wide-eyed, frantic face of his mother was looking up at him. Thin wrinkles had been etched onto her face and the make-up that she had applied was smeared, runny, and over-applied. He was sure, though, that if she stood to her full height, took a hot shower, and changed her clothes, she would be the Alessandra he had seen years ago. “I need the gold mask. Where’d you put it?” After listening to a few moments of incoherent babbling, he sighed, got to his feet, and began to search through one of the closets to the right.
Checking his watch, he grumbled. Twenty minutes left. Great—he’d be late for sure. He slid his phone out of his pocket, attempting to text Dani that he was going to be late when his mother leapt at him, snatching the phone right out of his grasp. “What th—GIVE THAT BACK!” Ezra dove for the woman as she made her way across the apartment, barely touching the ground with her feet as she bounded over to the window and threw her son’s phone as far as she could. “Oh, like that’s cheap,” Ezra growled under his breath, watching as his mother crawled over to one of the larger chairs. Jesus. Not only did he have to spend money on things for school and his apartment, he now had to find a new phone. Or go search for his other one, but then he’d be really late. Shaking his head, he pulled out the large box in the back of Alessandra’s closet and opened the lid...
......................
He strolled into the secret, trying not to act too disgusted by how he looked. After having rescued his “grandfather’s” mask from the depths of the box stuck in Alessandra’s closet, and having escaped the horrors of said apartment, he was now a little late to the dance. Did it really matter, though? It wasn’t like it was some social event he had been waiting for the whole year—and he hoped to god it wasn’t like that for anyone else. Then they’d go straight to one of those teen movies where everything turns out right in the end; the geek becomes the prom queen, the football captain gets some sense knocked into him, and the bully realizes exactly why he’s been terrorizing students for most of his life. Which would doubly suck, because most of those movies were made for kids and generally were PG-13 or below—and let’s face it, Avery and Blair were not about to through a PG-rated party.
Looking around, he spotted Bliss in the middle of the crowd. She seemed to be relaxing with the mastermind behind the party-works and said vampire’s date. William de Luca. It wasn’t as if he had been harmed in any sort of way by the other demon; it was just that...he was different. Different in that mildly creepy sort of way. Not that the people he hung out with—Daileh, Jackson, Nicky—weren’t creepy, but there was something about William that he definitely didn’t like. He couldn’t care less about Blair, but he wasn’t so sure about Bliss. Then again, the girl could take care of herself. He swept up behind her, draping an arm around her shoulder and greeting, “‘Lo, Bliss.” Reaching out his hand to grasp that of Blair’s, he kissed it and looked up.“Hostess,” he paused to stand up and eye the other demon, smile still plastered on his face, “and...William.” Though they all had masks, it was impossible not to notice the couple as who they really were.

"Two years?" Blair gaped. "I need to get you out more often Hun" she said and rolled her eyes."ha ha. Someones being Little bit nosy" Blair smirked her famous smirk and giggled. Blair watched as she grinned, and then she felt a hand on her waist. "Hello William, you also look very handsome" she said and smiled at him. William might have scared her in the library, but he would be doing no scaring tonight. Blair was distracted then, but now she was perfectly aware of her surroundings. She didn't want any trouble at her party. Blair watched Bliss's expression and couldn't help but laugh lightly. "Think you're getting something on the first night bud?" Blair burst out laughing at that one. Knowing William, he probably wanted something to happen. "I need a drink" Blair said and turned towards the bar.
"Another shot please?" she said, perkiness filled her voice. Blair smiled widely as the shot was put in front of her. She was about to pick it up, but she heard someone approaching. "Oh hello Ezra" Blair said, smiling as he kissed her hand. "What a gentlemen" she said before taking a swing of her vodka. She felt the liquid burn her throat and she smirked. The feeling was soo...fimiular to Blair. Her eyes found Ezra's face and she saw his expression. Anybody could tell he disliked William. Blair could tell, his smile was so fake. But, maybe it was just Blair who thought this. "Anybody seen Avery?" she asked out of the blue. Blair couldn't have the time of her life without Avery.

. "Think you're getting something on the first night bud?" // "And, hello. I'm Bliss. Bliss Diegel."
William raised an eyebrow at the girl and he let out a small laugh before heading to the bar "Dom Perignon.." he stated simply to the waiter "...and as for your comment.." he claimed to the blond girl turning slightly to the side as he waited for his drink "...this is not our first night, far from it." a grin playing in his lips, he and Blair had already slept together some time ago, it had been just one night, true, but If one knew William, then they would know he made his best to run from anything similar to relationships. "William, William DeLuca" he introduced himself with a charming smile before accepting the glass of Dom Perignon from the waiter and join them once again.
It didn't take long after his first sip for a guy to walk to them What was his name again?" he thought to himself trying to make a slight effort, but in vain, one thing he knew was that he was the type of demon that made him feel disgusted with himself because of his race. "Hi" he greeted simply moving his eyes away from him and looking around the secret, in search for familiar faces while pouring his drink down his throat gently. "I have to be honest, you did a great job once again Blair. The party looks amazing" he claimed to the brunette girl in his French accent, even though he had spent the last two years and some months in that school, he still was unable to speak without the slight French accent kicking in.

Bliss shook her head at Blair, laughing slightly. "No, no. I only wore the dress because it was a date and yeah, as you can tell the relationship failed to a great extent." Sighed as she finished up her final shot of vodka for now, Bliss pushed the hair in her face out of it, looking to the guy who adressed himself as William. A harsh glare fell upon her eyes at his comment. Who did this demon think he was, being so cocky. "Watch yourself William." She craved a fight for tonight anyways, and well... If she had to, Bliss would be one of the fighters. This guy was ticking her off after only a few things after meeting each other. She didn't know why he was making her so upset, but he was.
Feeling a hand around her shoulder and seeing a familiar face, Bliss smiled. Giving Ezra a kiss on the cheek and hugging him, she smiled a great, famous smile she had that showed her perfect fangs and teeth. Looking at Blair as she complimented him, she smirked. "Yes, he was trained oh so well." Smiling a smaller smile, she couldn't hold back as Ezra greeted William. Sounded like maybe Ezra wasn't so fond of William... Hehe, she was happy with that. She didn't like William, Ezra didn't... She'd have at least someone to complain to about how the fact Blair had brought the guy as her date. Besides, Ezra was like one of her best friends. She love him, he was like... Awesome.

"Watch yourself William."
Laughing he rolled his eyes at the girl's words, normally it didn't take long for William to like or dislike someone, in this case, he was already annoyed by her presence and the demon that joined made things even more difficult to deal with. Normally, he just asked for the person he was talking to, to have a little class and brains nothing else, that's the type of people he had grown up with and that was how his friends were. This two were the type of people that made the normal humans despise the ones with abilities, for the lack of a better word, freaks. Will was extremely polite and he was very friendly, but when people didn't reply the same way, he preferred to play the 'ignore' card, it worked perfectly. "Please don't bite me" he teased grinning before turning to Blair "I'm going to take a walk around gorgeous. You can find me on the upper level If you want" he stated with a charming smile to the girl before walking away from them.
With his Dom Perignon in his hand, he walked through the crowded space, almost everyone from school was there, that was basically the event of the year, at least for the time being. Couples everywhere, some dateless but Will had no doubt it wouldn't take long for them to join with someone else and spend a good time. A wave of a hand here, a wink there and shaking some hands, he climbed the stairs to the upper level as greeted the people he knew and some that he had no idea who they were.

Blair closed her eyes for a moment as she hit a dizzy spell, it wasn't her fault...it was the alcohol's. Well, it could be blamed on her since she already had three shots of vodka, and was now heading for her forth. Blair watched back and forth as the two talking. The vampire seemed to be in her own little world tonight. Or, it was just that she wasn't in the mood to party. perk up, B, this is your party. Make it one hell of a night she reassured herself and blinked. "When do i not do a great job on my party's?" it was a rhetorical question. Blair always had thrown the best party's. They were always memorable. She could feel the awkward tension coming between the group of teenager. "Yeah, I'll see you in awhile Will" she said to William before he departed off. The girl turned her attention back to Bliss and Ezra. "Please don't hate me because of him" she said and pouted. She definitely didn't want her friends to hate her because they didn't get along with her date.
"Just, try to ignore him. He can be abit..." she paused looking for the right word, "Cocky at times, but hes really a great guy if you get to know him" she said and smiled weakly. "Hey Bliss, wanna dance?" she asked and smiled, trying to bring fun back into her night. What was a party without dancing? Blair waited patiently for her answer and smiled at her. "Ezra can come too" she said convincingly, with a wide smile. The brunette turned her attention to the bartender. "I want a brandy prepared when i get back" she said sternly and smirked.

What a...gentleman. Heh. Obviously Blair didn't talk to him that often. He was aware of the fact that she was a friend of Bliss, but friends of friends usually didn't concern him. He smiled down at the vampire as he was kissed and hugged; Bliss was like the cute little sister that he never had. Well, that he did technically have, but let's not get into that. Ezra's dark blue eyes flicked over to William, who seemed to be as uninterested in even pretending to get along. "Yeah," he agreed, glancing around the dance floor. "Amazing." He knew that most every single student would show up at the party. Whether it was for Blair, the poles in the dance floor, or the alochol and drunks, it didn't seem to matter. It was a party.
Wonderful, the other demon left. He turned his attention to Blair and smiled. "I don't hate you because of him," he replied, watching out of the corner of his eye as Will approached the upper level. Eyes returning to the ladies before him, he smiled again. "I'm sure he is." Not that he'd find out, or wanted to, but it was Blair's life, not him. She could waste her time with the de Luca kid if she wanted to. When asked to dance, something that he had no skill whatsoever in, he blinked and shook his head. "That's okay," he assured the vampire, smiling. "I have to get to my date. Have fun, Bliss," he nodded to her, breaking away from the crowd and turning to find Dani, "and enjoy your party, Blair."
