history;;One night stands. They happened oh-so more often these days. Well, they were announced more. Or known. It was different these days then back then. One night stands happened often, and nobody cared. Well, they cared, but they didn't show it. Rapes happened too. They were known more these days as well. Why? Nobody knew. It was just how things went, and nobody went around trying to stop any of it. But everyone knew that one night stands were so much better than rape. At least then, you had some control, and might not get hurt.
But fate wasn't nice to Hanna Killingston. The Killingston family was a wealthy one. They lived luxuriously for ages. Their wealth was passed through to the first born son, as things went. No first born son, any son. If there wasn't a son, a grandson. But as luck would have it, this didn't happen for Hanna. Not until after her mother and father had died. She had all the money. She ran the business. Well, her uncle did, because she got the money at age 17. Too young, underage, however you'd like it. She was a beauty, the classical, lovely brunette with money. She wasn't an airhead, she was far from that. She was smart and lovely. But smarts didn't always hold well in the real world.
As any woman would, she had a boyfriend. A lover, if you will. Whatever you called it, but she had one. He had a name, and it was Gregory Matthews. He was a nice enough fellow. Below her class, though. He would be called middle class. He had money, yes, but not a whole bunch. Enough money to get by, and more. She loved him, and thought he loved her back. But then he borrowed a bit too much money from her, and she broke it off. That was a mistake. One mistake that would be the worst of her life. Of course, she thought herself perfectly safe on the streets of London. She didn't carry her money with her, and her clothes weren't terribly expensive. At least, when she was on the streets, and by herself, they weren't. She didn't want to get mugged or beaten to death simply because of her obvious wealth in her clothing. But that wasn't what had happened that night.
If you asked her, it was all his fault. He shouldn't have asked for too much money. He shouldn't have done this, shouldn't have done that. But in his eyes, is was her fault. She shouldn't have broken it off. Maybe then, Adrien wouldn't be here. Alleyways weren't the best place for Hanna to have been walking by. Because that was where she was grabbed and taken to a shabby apartment. She was blindfolded and tied to a bed. It all went downhill from there. She was left naked and bleeding. She wasn't tied to the bed anymore, but he had left, and she was sore, couldn't move. She lay there, cold, for hours. She finally found the strength to wrap a sheet around her, and find a phone, to call her driver. He came to pick her up, but didn't ask questions. Her life went back to normal, until two weeks later. A missed period, a quick drive to the store and back, and then to the bathroom. And a plus sign. That was all it took for her to hate him more than she ever had before. Not only had he left her bleeding, cold, and naked in a room heavens knows where, but he also had to get her pregnant. Just great.
Adrien Killingston was born several months later. He was a small, teeny little thing. And frankly, Hanna hated him. She was going to have an abortion, but her uncle talked her out of it, as well as her doctor. But she hated the little thing. Oh sure, she treated the kid with good parenting and everything, but she hated the thing. Hanna herself was a vampire, and knew of the supernatural world, or whatever you'd call it. Her whole family was gifted, and she herself could control fire and heal, and could make small lightning. She taught Adrien of the two worlds he was a part of, and taught him the horrid creatures that humans were. She was surprised, and happy, to find that Adrien was a demon. To her, it was a gift to be a demon. A few of her family were also demons, so she knew of them, as well. They found out, by help from a witch that could help bring forth powers, that he could control weather, shapeshift, talk to animals, and could control a bit of fire. Adrien's mother helped him develop the power how she could.
She got married to Coryn Jakson when Adrien was seven. Coryn was an elf, and was handsome. He had money, and seemed nice and polite. But, as soon as he got his hands on the Killingston fortune, by marrying Hanna, he became rude. He beat his wife and kid, and even raped both of them. Not at the same time, and Hanna didn't even know what Coryn did to Adrien. The odd thing with Adrien, even though it was painful, and a first at the age of 12, he liked the pain. It was really weird, and Adrien didn't mind the pain. Maybe it was something that came with him being a demon, but he enjoyed the pain that Coryn had inflicted him. Which probably was a part that led to him being a sleeper.
It wasn't long before Adrien was shipped off to Winterthorne Academy. He liked it there. He could wreck a bit of havoc here and there, be polite to some, rude to others, and learned to better control his power. He earned his reputation as a sleeper, but he was sort of polite about it, too. He did have a girlfriend when he was a freshman. He did sleep with her, once. He didn't again, Apparently, he inflicted a bit too much pain on her, and she used her power, telekinesis and electricity, against him. It was painful, more pain then he ever had. He had thought he loved the girl, too. Or thought as much. That, plus knowing who his true father was and what he did to his mother, he feared commitment, and falling in love.

general appearance;; Adrien most definitely isn't your average looking guy. Well, he's not average, in any case. His hair is a range of colors. He does dye it, but not often, and only with normal colors. It's medium length and currently blonde and brown. The blonde hair is swept aside in an "emo" hairstyle. It frames his face nicely, really. His hair is shorter in the back, and sometimes is spiked up slightly. His eyes are a dark brown, and are often filled with humor or just general happiness. Or something like that, anyways. His complexion would be what is considered normal. It is the general color called "flesh" or "peach" or whatever works for you. It is not tan, but nor is it extremely pale. It is normal, got it? His build is also kind of normal. He is tall and lanky, with no fat on his body. He does have some muscle, but it's not a great amount, and it's a good enough amount for him.
His clothing style is just the general for the music freaks, pretty much. However, Adrien just wears whatever is in his closet and is clean. He has several different hats, of different kinds, too. He is often seen in band tees, but also wears just simple shirts with logos or just crazy statements on them. As for his pants, he does wear tight, "girl" jeans. It's not because everyone else is doing it, because he most definitely doesn't follow others, but it's because for him, they are comfortable. I know it sounds odd, but it's true. He wears his pants tight, or skinny, because they are comfortable. As for his head, no not his hair, he often wears hats or bandannas. His hats vary, but he often wears beanies. For his bandannas, they are wrapped, and then tied around his head.
general personality;; Adrien would probably be one of the friendliest demon you'd ever meet. It's not that he isn't rude or mean, because he is, it's just that when you meet him, he's generally friendly. He loves talking, but isn't the kind of person to keep talking and talking when someone else wants to. He lets others talk, if they want to. However, he'll continue to talk if they don't want to talk. He's just that way. Most of the time, what he talks about is completely unrelated to any previous topic, unless it's something he can go on and on and on about. Like music. He can go on about music for a long time. But for something like magazines, he'll probably start talking about speakers or something unrelated next.
Adrien is really, generally, nice. He'll talk to anybody he meets, and is extremely polite about it. He isn't rude or mean, usually, until you do something, and he'll know it, even if he didn't see it, rude, mean, or just generally not nice to somebody else. But until he knows, or thinks, that fact, he'll be nice and polite to you. Well, unless you seem to be someone he doesn't like. Which leads to the next point, that he's extremely gullible. He'll believe nearly everything that he's told. Gossip, rumors, whatever you call it, he'll believe it. Even if it's something completely unbelievable, like "such and such had sex with a dog," he'll believe it. Seriously. He doesn't know why, it's just what he's like. He'll believe nearly anything. Unless it's something to have to do with him having to eat some crap or something. He won't do that.
As for his temper.....well, just stay away from him. It sounds super cliché, but he has a temper. A big one. No joke. Okay, he's normally rude and mean to people he doesn't like, or just seems really not-nice. But his temper is crazy. It could be a thing about him being a demon, but he's been this way his whole life. Basically, his temper has three stages. First stage, simmering. His temper is slow to some to a boil, and it first simmers. He glares angrily at the offending person, or object, and does nothing more. He is silent and glaring. Second stage, he is boiling, but not yet cooking. He is still glaring, usually, but he is bursting with rage, and you can tell. He is usually muttering angrily, but will sometimes just yell out random words. Well, they seem random, but it all has to do with the muttering. The muttering is generally about what happened that made him mad. But it might be something random. Most people don't know, because they have no clue what he's saying because his muttering isn't loud. And the third stage...that's where you want to leave. He'll be yelling like mad. Well, he is mad. But that's not the point. He's yelling at nearly the top of his lungs. Yelling about what happened is generally heard, or why he's mad or something, but on occasion, it's just something random, maybe about why stars are yellow or something. That's not the worst part. Most of the time, he's throwing stuff. From markers to toasters to everything in between and more. They fly across the room, by whatever means necessary. It's probably the stage from which he calms down, because the throwing stuff actually helps to relieve him. But usually, the offending object or person must be removed before he can do so, or else he'll get mad again.
There's only one thing that Rien hates the most, and that's probably gifted humans. Rien was born in the supernatural world, and learned that humans don't belong here, even if they had been gifted with supernatural powers. He has a sense of who is what in the world, and is rude to the gifted humans. He doesn't like them, and hates them, actually. He won't talk to them, except maybe to make fun of them or some such thing. Just rudeness or meanness, or whatever. He isn't nice to them, and never is. He looks down on the mixed race, and is rude to them, but accepts them more than humans, unless they are half human.
Another thing is the fact that he is afraid of commitment. It isn't just that, though. He's afraid of commitment, but he also is a player, a sleeper, whatever you wish to call him. He doesn't know exactly why he's that way. Heck, who does? But he is. He sleeps with girls and boys, whatever works. He's a player, he uses people. But, hey, he doesn't forget the person. Heck, half the time they are still friends after. But commitment? He can't stand it. It's something that has to do with his past....but that's the way he is.

A demon, Adrien has powers. He's known he had powers at a young age. His main powers are weather control and the ability to shapeshift. His power over weather is a hard one to have. He can create and control different aspects of weather, including wind, rain, snow, sleet, hail, lightning, and such similar things. The worst thing he can create and control are tornadoes. Although, he can't do one so well. His emotions control the powers, so you'd better be far away when he's mad, because his powers go loco. He can also shift into an animal of any kind, which leads to his ability to talk to animals. It's pretty much a package deal with shapeshifting. It wouldn't be good to shift to an animal and not be able to talk to them. His final power is a small power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire. It's a small one, and can only grow so big, and his capacity for it is very small.
