Hidden in the maze(Tally)

He was so sick of being like he was but couldn't get out of that pattern. Chris had been like that for so long and he was very unhappy but no one not even his own family noticed it. Sitting there on the stone bench there he touched his arms looking at the scars on them. Drawing his knees up to his chest what was he going to do? He was so in love with Leo but would anything happen he didn't know. Sighing he leaned back against the tall bushes behind him and looked around, running a hand through his hair. Thinking about so many things he didn't know where to start there was so much there. Chewing on his bottom lip he leaned his head onto his arms sitting.

Humming a soft melody, the petite girl entered the maze, letting her hand graze across the wall as she walked. The humming seemed to be so innocent, sounding like it should be something from one of those wind up ballerina's than a teenage girl. Her long black hair was lying upon her shoulders, looking softer then usual in the dim light. She wasn't to fond of Winterthorne, in fact she was starting to really hate it; well, dislike considering the girl didn't have it in her to hate. The only places she like to visit were the maze and the pool, otherwise she stayed cooped up in her room. Her outfit today was a simple one, nothing to bright or flashy, though she did look like a life size doll, in a cute way though, not the creepy kind. Turning a corner she saw someone sitting on a bench. Walking up to them, her ballet flats hardly making a sound she sat beside them. "Are you okey," she asked in a small voice.

Chris frowned looking around not seeing anyone around but he was used to it. Moving a hand through his hair he stared down at the ground then looked up at the sky he did that when he was annoyed but did it for other reasons too. He chewed on his bottom lip and opened his hand a small fire rose appeared in it he looked at it. Winterthorne was different and not like the schools he had been in as a child, there were people like him around okay he hadn’t seen another warlock around which really sucked. He didn’t have anyone to talk too and he hated it, it was depressing and very upsetting. Looking up he felt someone was looking at him and looked back to the ground. Not hearing the footsteps he felt the urge to rip onto his arms again he suffered from severe depression and had never been taken to get any meds for it. Hearing the voice he looked at her and shrugged looking at his hands. “Not sure.”

While Tally sat there, waiting for the boy's reply, she studied him. He looked a bit older than her, maybe a senior, and he wasn't hurting in the looks department. When her eyes came to his arms, she gawked in silence. The cuts were deep, so deep that they way they had healed, the skin wasn't even back together, just scabbed over. not sure. At his reply her eyes brows creased; not sure ? seriously ? He had slices on arm, how could he be not sure ? "Christ, " she mumbled looking back up at him. "Your arm.." She couldn't manage to say anything but that. She had only known one other person whop had cone something like this, but it hadn't been near as bad. She shook her head, realizing she had been a bit rude. "I'm, uh, I'm Tally," she put a sweet smile on her face and placed her hand in front of her for him to shake. She figured introducing her self would be a nice start.

He shrugged again and sighed softly, Chris was a bit older then her but didn’t look that old really. Quite the muffin as people sometimes would refer to him as he just stared at his arms again. Yeah he had promised Leo not to hurt himself but he had done it when Leo wasn’t around. He knew he had to stop doing that to himself but couldn’t seem not to stop doing it. Hearing her mumble he chewed on his bottom lip nodding. “I can’t seem to stop cutting myself.” That was the truth he couldn’t and needed help to stop. “Hi Tally I’m Chris.” He had a soft German accented voice at the moment and shook her hand with his. Putting his hand back down onto his knee he so wanted to heal himself but needed to see the relief he needed but it wasn’t at all it was self harm.

It took all her will power not to stare at his arms. It was like someone telling you not to blink. But she knew it was rude to stare so she kept her eyes averted away from the cuts. Behind the boy-er Chris, two ghost past through the wall, and kept moving. She ignored them and smiled at Chris, "well we all have , uh, flaws," she wasn't sure if that was the tight thing to say, but it was said and that was that. "It's nice to meet you Chris," a bright smile filled the petite girl's face. Shae wanted so badly to ask why he had done that to his arms, but she pushed the question to the back of her mind. "So, um, what, uh, what species are you ?" She asked putting on a curious face, trying to change the subject from Chris's arm. She hated sad things, and tried to avoid them when ever possible, though sometimes sadness wasn't avoidable.

He got the feeling she wanted to stare at his arms and many people there did. But he was used to the stares at his arms he looked around again then back to her. "Yeah can't help the flaws we all have." Yeah everyone had flaws no matter if they said they were perfect no one was perfect and that was that. "It's nice to meet you too Tally." It was nice to have someone to talk to and he needed it. "I'm a warlock what about you umm what are you?" Happy to have the subject changed from his arm to something else.
