He had left school needing some coffee to drink and something to eat as well. Getting his room key, his wallet and his cell phone that he tucked into his pocket. Finding his way out of the castle and went for a nice walk, loving the snow he stayed closed to it but then again he didn't want to get caught with what he could do so he moved away from the snow but was still in it. Trying so hard to not become snow white while he was outside the school he quickly got to where he wanted to go after getting lost many times. Walking into wynter skies he smiled looking around the coffee shop he loved the smell of coffee. Going to the counter to see what there was he looked at the huge menu above him thinking. Seeing a cashier come up he smiled at her and got a place of strudel and a large white chocolate mocha caramel ice drink.
Paying he found a chair near by to wait for his order putting his phone onto the table he looked around. Seeing other kids from the school he sat quietly softly humming to himself.

"C-c-c-co-cold. F-f-freezing c-cold." Annabel Gregors' teeth chattered simultaneously with her shivers and shakes, Castle Ayelet several hundred yards behind her. Generally, temperatures below freezing were welcomed with open arms by the young lady. However, without something warm in her gloveless hand, today was not one of those days. A slew of curses escaped the soft pink lips, sounding comically similar to the razzle-frazzle nonsense said by none other than Fred Flinstone himself. Pocketing her hands into her red peacoat, Annabel's nearly-numb fingertips found the cold silver key in her right pocket, accompanied by a crisp slip of paper. It's probably some stupid note I found on the ground, she commented, unsure of its true being, nor caring much. Pushing aside the meaningless thought, Annabel concentrated on getting to a coffee shop, one wet step at a time.
Annabel could have sworn up and down that she heard angels sing as she approached Wynter Skies. As she stepped through the door, a small bell rang as a sign of another customer's arrival. She quickly stepped in line and shrugged off her overcoat, revealing her emerald green v-neck sweater and plain white undershirt. Before long, her order of peppermint hot cocoa had been placed, and the short-statured girl took a look around the room. She recognized several students from Winterthorne, but none that would miss her if she neglected to take a seat beside them. "Medium mint cocoa, extra whip," the boy behind the counter announced. Silently cursing her height of a mere five feet and two inches, Coffee Boy lowered it to her and thanked her for her business. Annabel politely nodded in return and turned on her heel, searching for an open seat.
The first table she spotted was already slightly taken. Its only occupant was yet another student from the Academy, a sophomore she believed. Good enough. You can always make friends. Jacket over one arm and nice, warm drink in the other hand, Miss Gregors made her way over to the young man. "Excuse me, do you mind if I sit here?" she asked. "I'm almost positive we go to school together, so I suppose I'm not a complete stranger." She smiled warmly, knowing she will feel completely and utterly idiotic if he turned her down. Oh well. A little anticipation never killed anyone.

That afternoon he had gotten cleaned up and put on some warm clothing so people wouldn't think he was such a dork. But had gotten cleaned up first in the bathroom in his dorm room and really only had one roommate so far Alex who was a very sweet and handsome guy. Clothed in a light blue sweater and some black jeans with some black boots on his feet. Putting his blue blackberry phone in his pocket with the other stuff he needed he went out for a nice coffee drink and something to eat as well, getting enough money from a secret box that was hidden in the room he headed out. Coming from the castle he smiled seeing other students out playing in the snow.
Making his way to the coffee shop he smiled at the little kids who were also playing in the snow near by. Walking on in he got his order placed and found a nice place to sit near by. His angelic voice came out in a soft hum, like a chorus of angels singing but it was only him really. Looking around he saw Annabel come into the shop as well, he had seen her around the castle a few times but hadn't spoken to her plus he was still pretty new as well. He waited for his order to be called so he could go up and get it or have it appear on the table with him but he didn't want to draw attention to himself like that.
Once his order was done he went and got it quickly then came back to his seat. Sipping the cold coffee drink which he loved greatly. Watching her coming over his way he sat quietly and took out his phone putting it onto the table next to his plate, nibbling at the sweet goodie he had. He smiled at her and chewed what he was eating before he spoke. "No not at all, please sit." Taking a drink he nodded that they did. "Yes I've seen you around the castle a few times since I've been there, I'm Hunter." Pulling the chair out for her he dabbed his mouth off with a napkin.

Aw, he's a gentleman. How sweet. Annabel's grin widened into a small, toothy smile as she sat down beside him. "Wow, thank you," she murmured, honestly shocked that a guy her age pulled her chair out for her, not out from under her. Damn immature little boys, she thought quickly. In the blink of an eye, Annabel returned her attention to her knew coffee buddy. "I'm Annabel Gregors," she explained. "It's very nice to meet you, Hunter. I hope this doesn't sound stalkerish or anything, but you're a sophomore, right? At least, you're not a freshie? I mean, you look a little older than me," she told him a little too quickly, her words running together towards the end of her speal. Annabel added a soft, nervous laugh, praying that that simple, wordless sound would lighten her anxiety.
Yes, Annabel Gregors was outgoing, but she did have her moments to be tongue-tied, especially when her tongue was just now thawing. She sipped at her drink, relishing the cool taste of the peppermint and the richness of the cocoa. Add whipped cream and it's Heaven in a cup. Heaven. Hmm... I wonder what type he is. Annabel hated that there were types. Then again, being a bit of an outcast as a mixed breed mutt made her a tad biased to begin with. Fallen angels are fine by themselves; werewolves are fine alone. Put them together... well, not so much. Maybe Hunter could identify. Or maybe he was one of those people, the kind that shun her for being, well, less than normal. Sip, sip. Yum.

He was a gentleman and had learned from his grandpas and uncles plus his godfather as well. "You're welcome." Hunter's dad hadn't taught him anything expect not to ever be like him which was something that was just fine with him. Hoping he had a friend which he needed them since he was away from his friends at home. "It's very nice to meet you too Annabel, it's okay and it doesn't, uh huh I am one and still pretty new to winterthorne as well." He smiled at her. "I'm only 15 but some people think I'm about 13." Eating some more he had a bit of a baby face still and innocent looking.
Hunter was still pretty shy he hadn't been in such a big school like Winterthorne it would take a bit of time for him to get used to it. The young snow angel sipped his drink and ate his snack he had a huge ass sweet tooth which wouldn't take long to figure out if one watched him long enough. Enjoying his coffee drink and it was a large one which he was quite happy about. Hunter had that glow about him that angels have. "Umm if I may ask what classes are you taking?" He wasn't going to be rude and ask what she was.

"If anything, you look older than fifteen," she remarked, taking another sip of her drink. Annabel was a poor judge of age; she always seemed to add five years or take off three. Annabel was just about ready to pat herself on the back for this one, though she did have a little help from the simple fact that they attended school together. She took a swig of her drink, slightly burning the center of her tongue. Annabel recoiled slightly, hastily setting her drink on the table and clenching her mouth shut. Shit. You've been drinking it all this time, yet you still burn yourself anyway.
She chuckled at his question. "All of them," she told him, slightly nervous at the thought of Old Runes and History of Magyck. "What about you? Oh, and, if you don't mind me asking, what can you do? I mean, what's your magyck?" Sure, the inquiring sounded rather, well, rude, but Annabel considered that something she of all people needed to know. Her talent is copying others'; she was a chameleon of sorts. So, if someone has the lovely ability to blow themselves up on command, that is one person Annabel wishes not to be too close to. "I'll tell you mine," she bargained, softly laughing.

“Thanks.” He smiled hearing her remake about him looking older then 15, getting his more of his snack in his mouth he made a cute sounding funny happy noise. Big time sweet tooth for Hunter but he could do it. Hunter had seen her around the castle and in the hallways while he explored to get used to his new surroundings. Taking a drink of his ice coffee he smiled and blinked watching her clinch her mouth shut he figured she burned her tongue. “Ouch you burned your tongue huh?” He had done it many time himself and it always hurt.
Hunter smiled hearing her and he had all of them as well, he was nervous about classes but Leo taught one of them which was a relief. “Oh all of them as well but thankfully my god father Leo teaches one of the classes. I don’t mind at all umm I wield the power of snow, flight, healing, soothing singing and a few other things.” Telling what he could do but not all of them quite yet but was very proud of his powers he smiled. “I can’t wait to hear it.”
