The wind brushed past her fur, ruffling it up, as she ran through the forest. She wasn't sure where she was going or what she was doing exactly but the feeling she got when she ran was incredible. Her tongue rolled out of her mouth as her speed picked up. To the human eye it would be impossible to see where she was ,she'd probably be able to kill you in one move, she'd never hurt a human though. Maybe another vampire or even werewolf would be able to catch a glimpse of her but she doubted it, ever since she was little she was able to run at an amazing speed. Speed mixed with her dark black fur she was invisible in the night.
Emily's world began to twist around her and she found herself hallucinating. Dark figures began to dance around her like she was some kind of prey. She barred her teeth and let out a warned growl but the figures still remained. Some of them flew in front of her while others were able to go right through her. Closing her eyes she ran faster (if that was possible) and let her paws to her to safety.
It only took a minute to realize that she had finally come to a stop. Emily opened her eyes and what she saw was breathtaking. Paw by paw she walked further out into the clearing. The tall reeds swayed so gracefully that she pictured them all dancing as a group. Some of the smaller reeds tickled her underbelly and she smiled happily to herself, which was very rare. The girl lifted her head and her light green eyes sparkled up at the stars above. Her body warmed up and for once she felt somewhat peaceful.
Her tail wagged a couple times and she walked a bit further out into the huge clearing. Its beautiful. Emily was so preoccupied with the starry night that someone would easily be able to intrude whether they were friendly or looking for trouble.

Cold air brushed through shaggy black locks as Andrew casually walked along. The air felt rather good as it passed along his face, chilling his skin; making its way through the threads of fabric making up his black long-sleeved shirt and faded, light blue jeans. His hands were dug deep into his pocket. Andrew often took walks--or runs--like thise. For some reason the cold felt relaxing, and he could always just heat himself back up if he needed to, thanks to powers over fire. Even Andrew needed to be alone sometimes--believe it or not. And alot of weird things had just happened--good weird though, very good weird. His mind was drifting off into thoughts of Fletcher; the Werewolf Junior. It was so hard to believe that all that time they'd both liked each other, they were only pretending to hate each other. It felt like a waste of time and pretty ridiculous too, having kept that going for so long for no reason.
Andrew paused suddenly. He hadn't realized he'd been running; he hadn't felt the air rushing past him, blowing his black hair, or the cold stinging his cheeks. And now he was approaching a clearing. Andrew saw their were reeds growing up around his feet now. His black and green DCs continued to move further into the clearing, it was pretty cool here. The only lighting came from the moon and the stars, and the clearing seemed empty. Maybe he could find a fallen tree trunk to sit on or something. But then the breeze brought a smell to his sharp Vampire nose. Dog, like a Werewolf, but the smell was very mixed with the smell of Vampire. Andrew grew very curious and looked around.
Soon he spotted a black wolf-like animal standing in the clearing almost across from him. Maybe a shapeshifting Vampire? The Vampire smell was definitely stronger than the smell of dog. Andrew brushed at his nose--the way all the smells always stuck in his nose and were so much stronger was really bothersome. He purposefully took a few lous steps to warn of his approach. Hopefully she wouldn't think he was here looking for trouble. He didn't want to get into a fight with anyone out here. "Hey there," he spoke, voice its usual chipper and hyper self.

Her ears twitched and pricked up when she heard a boys voice. As she stood up a low growl automatically erupted from her chest and she turned to look where the boy was at. Now she wasn't trying to scare him off on purpose it was just how she reacted to new people. Not the best way to make friends but she couldn't help it. Plus it didn't help that she was caught off guard usually Emily was very good at knowing when people were approaching her.
When she saw the boy her growling stopped and she immediately sat back on the ground. Her right ear twitched ever so slightly as the smell of vampire filled her nose. Okay so he was a vampire that made her feel slightly better. It was probably weird for him to see her, a vampire, in this kind of form. It wasn't common for a vampire to be able to shape shift like this. By the tone of the boys voice he seemed pretty harmless maybe she should give it a shot to be friends with him. It's not like it would kill her to try.
Taking in a deep breath she sat up straight and closed her eyes, forcing all her attention on one figure in her mind. It only took a split second to transform back into her regular self, usually most people missed it if they blinked or looked away. Emily stood on two legs now and the fur had now turned back into her pale skin that seemed to shine in the moonlight. She mumbled to herself as she fixed her long black hair and brushed off some of the dirt that had gotten on her shirt.
As Emily brushed a couple reeds off her pants she glanced down at her feet and noticed that she wasn't wearing any shoes. She shook her head then look back up at the boy who was not to far from her. "Hey." Her voice didn't sound so cold and harsh like it usually would it was soft and lonely. "Sorry I growled at you I'm not use to people walking up on me." She scratched her arm feeling pretty embarrassed by the whole thing.

The metal loops in Andrew's snakebites quietly hit against his teeth as he heard a growl. He hoped he hadn't bothered her or anything like that. It wasn't on his "to do list" to get into a fight with another Vampire right now--especially one who could shapeshift. Andrew watched without surprise as the black wolf shifted into a female Vampire in a matter of a second or two. He already seen Fletcher transform from a human to a Werewolf. Andrew heard the girl speak. Okay, at least he hadn't done anything bad. "Its fine," he said, a grin on his face showing off pearly whites and a pair of vampiric fangs. He brushed some windblown black hair from his green eyes.
"I'm Andrew, by the way," he introduced himself. Andrew looked around the clearing quickly; really just observing it. Then he returned his green gaze to the girl he was talking with. Andrew did stuff like that alot, it was hard keeping his full attention.

She wanted to smile at the boy, really, but she couldn't bring herself to do so all she did was nod. Her light green eyes looked over the boy and she found herself staring at his snakebites. You could say she had a thing with piercings, they looked good on everyone she saw. Her eyes flickered to her own angelbites and she sighed. The one thing she really wanted was a pair of snakebites but never had the chance to get out to have it done. Back then she was way to busy with her father and now the urge to go had died away.
Emily looked up when she heard the boys name. Andrew's a nice name. She thought, blocking it so the other couldn't hear. She raised a brow as he looked around the clearing quickly then back at her. He looked like a very interesting boy, sort of reminded her of her other vampire friends she had become so close with. "My name is Emily, it's nice to meet you." Still there was no smile when she finished. Her old self would be smiling and laughing like crazy by this point, probably scaring the other or making herself look like an idiot.
"So what brings you here?" She asked after minutes of trying to think of what to say. It was hard for her to start a conversation with someone. Emily either started a fight or just didn't talk at all but she wanted to make an attempt to get a new friend. Oddly beautiful nights always made her calm and some what happy so it was safe for people to talk to her. During the day she was just pure bitchy, never a good thing.
[sorry it's pretty sucky; kinda tired over here :/]

"Nice to meet you too," Andrew replied after she'd introduced herself. A large friendly smile lit his face, Andrew always being the one to smile no matter what. It didn't bother him that she wasn't smiling back either--nothing could stop that smile from appearing on Andrew's face; besides plenty of people didn't smile as often as he did. Andrew just loved to be friendly and have fun. That was how he'd made most of the friends he had. He felt it go kind of silent after they'd introduced themselves, so he tried to quickly come up with something to talk about. But Emily beat him to that.
Andrew heard her ask what he was doing here. He gave a slight shrug. "I was just walking really," he explained, "Guess I zoned out, started running, and then somehow wound up here." Andrew gave a chuckle. That was like completely true, he realized. His slender fingers ran through his hair once more. "What about you?" he asked in return, trying to keep they're conversation going on.

Nice to meet you too.
Emily watched Andrew's every movement as he stood there. He was very happy and she was staring to feel the same way. Maybe it was just his vibe that made her feel like that or the peaceful clearing, maybe both? Whatever it was she was starting to like this feeling. It had been awhile since she felt like this and her coldness seemed to fade away. Probably the next time he saw her she would be completely different then now. She pushed that thought out of her mind and focused to be friendly to this new boy.
Emily sat on the ground and began to play with a couple reeds. "Looks like we both zoned a bit." A faint smile appeared on her face but as quickly as that came it was gone. "I needed to get away from school." Emily shook her head and looked at the few reeds she had been playing with. "It feels so nice out here and these flowers-" She paused and plucked a few from the ground. "Actually smell really good." That same smile from a couple seconds ago reappeared and this time it stayed on her.
After a moment she looked up at Andrew, a small chuckle escaping her mouth. "So what powers do you have? Other than-" She motioned her hand at herself than him. "The normal stuff." Emily knew that every vampire was immune to sunlight, stong sense of smell, super speed. That was normal, unless the vampire lacked some powers but she never met one that did. The girl tilted her head to the side and waited for the boy to answer.

Andrew laughed lightly when Emily said they must have both zoned out and that's how they ended up here. This must be one of those places that sort of just...drew people to them. Andrew looked over to the other Vampire again when he heard her say she needed to get away from the school. That was fairly true for him as well. Though it wasn't the school more than needing to get away from some people. But he wasn't even doing that very well, was he? Pretty much all he could think about was him anyway. "Yeah, really," Andrew agreed with a slight nod.
"Other than the normal Vampire stuff?" Andrew replied, looking at Emily with a smirk on his features. He raked his fingers through his hair quickly and then gave a small shrug--as thought it didn't really matter much. "I can wield fire; control it," he said. "So what about you? Excluding the regular Vampire things and obviously some sort of shape-shifting," Andrew asked in return. He looked towards his feet, seemingly examining his shoes; looking at the reeds and grass underfoot.
[[ blech...sucky >_< sorry <3 ]]
