FYI;; yes, these are stereotypes. you are welcome and encouraged to break free of the descriptions. [Example: A wizard with poor magyckal abilities, a kind demon.]
witch/wizard
They have witch or wizard blood in them, obviously. They generally control their magyck well, don’t ride by on broomsticks, and, contrary to popular belief, do not all hate Slytherins.
vampire
One of the more artistic races, vampires are not bent on sucking your blood out through a straw. They have strengthened senses naturally. They live forever and forever remain young [unfair, or what?]. Many are of a beautiful sort...
werewolf
The cool kids. Any werewolf could beat you up, and you know it. They know it, too, and they take it to heart. Though, there are some outcasts. All have the ability to turn into what seems like a large wolf...though when they turn back, they're naked. Might want to bring a spare change of clothes.
demon
Badass kids, or so they like to think. Demons are always around, causing trouble somewhere. They like to shake things up and are called the ‘punks’ of Winterthorne. Watch your back. A demon's heart gives it the ability to love. Some are born without it. Some lose it. They can survive without a heart, in other words...
angel
Typically a very kind and giving race, the angels pride themselves on their glistening skin and genial nature. They usually help students out. Many have the power of healing. All have wings.
fallen angel
Angels who have been cast out of "heaven". Born angels, they have committed too many sins, and are said to be "fallen". Though they keep their powers and wings, they are usually looked down upon.
elf
Wisest of all creatures, the elves pride themselves on their remarkable fighting skills (seriously, don't mess with them in battle tactics--they'll kick your ass). They know much, much more than you might think. The secrets they hold are uncountable...
nymph
Smaller creatures who usually have affinities for elements--or, at least, stronger affinities for elements. They treasure nature, so back off their petunias, dog-breath.
human
Humans who are at Winterthorne are gifted with exceptional abilities called magyck. Though other races are gifted with such abilities, it is unusual for a human, and therefore are almost always accepted into Winterthorne.
fairy
Fairies are devious creatures. Small and charming in appearance, they help others—but usually have something a little different in mind. Be careful when befriending fairies, that’s all I’m saying.
mixed-races
Usually looked down upon, they are the unfortunate who had parents of different races. Don't go down too hard on them, though. You wouldn't want a demon/werewolf hunting you down.
