The Lesson Plan: ? so far, that's all he had written down. The little blinky line on the screen, blinked on the blank screen. It was mocking him, laughing going na na na you don't have a lesson plan. Leo stuck his tongue out at it, like he was five and that was the only come back he could think of. "Lesson plan one: Review?, no. introducing to your powers?, no" He said no matter what he typed, he deleted it. Sitting there, he looked over at the pencils sitting in his cup. Taking one out, he pushed his chair back. Focusing on the wall, he threw the pencil. It stuck to the wall, the lead part of it keeping it there. "Yes!" He said doing a little victory dance in his chair. Okay, it was silly but he had to do something. "Now back to the lesson plan." rolling himself back over there. Leo looked at the blank screen, "Forget it." the mocking of the blinky line was too much. Looking around, all the empty sofas. So little lesson plan.

Jordan was completely and utterly bored. She had no classes, and nothing to do. There was too much snow falling from the sky for her to enjoy going outside. So she stayed inside the large castle. She wore a simply tee, a gray one with orange and yellow tiger-like stripes, and jeans. Nothing completely special and crazy today. Her raven hair had locks of orange in it, as well as orange hair extensions. She had done this look before, and to her, she kind of looked like some sort of tiger. It was a kind of cool look, to her anyways. And her converses, colored black, just made her look totally awesome. In her eyes, anyways. Not to mention her black wings, one of them crooked. It worked for her, at least she thought so.
So, on this day, she had taken to exploring the castle. There were so many rooms and towers. She didn't even know where half of them led to. The castle was the big, and that vast. When she found empty corridors, she spread out her wings and glided a bit, before having to fold them again, due to the fact other students, who wouldn't appreciate getting blast by cold air, or maybe even getting hit by her converse-clad feet. She didn't feel like making enemies, so she wouldn't do such a mean thing to them. She didn't ever want to make enemies. That definitely wasn't any fun. Who wanted to have people to not like them? Wasn't one part about school to have fun with your friends and not make enemies? Or something like that. Whatever. She didn't want enemies at all. Unless they were begging for it by being rude to other people, which just plain out wasn't a good quality.
She had reached the corridor in which the classrooms were situated. Of course, no one was seen along this corridor. Who wanted to be anywhere near the classrooms when they didn't have to be? It'd be torture. But for Jay, it mean fly time. She spread her glossy black wings, and took off. Sure it was a narrow corridor, but she and her wings could fit in it just fine. With a grin, she sped low along the corridor. But, as she passed the Control Your Power class, aka CYP, she heard a shout of triumph. She used her wings to back up, and then folded them back, falling softly to the ground in front of the door. She was curious to what that sound was. There wasn't any classes today, so who, or what, could have made that sound?
Jay found her answer as she opened the door. Sure, the door was see-through, but you couldn't always tell what was inside. Her eyes immediately landed on a guy at a computer, the teacher. His eyes were looking at the sofas that were situated around the room. He seemed to be at a complete loss, attempting to think of something. She wondered what it was that he was thinking of. Probably something for the next class, no doubt. Teachers were always thinking of something like that. She wondered why it was so hard to come up with something for students to learn. They learned this and this and this. It sure didn't seem that hard, that was for sure. "Uhm, excuse me?" She said, breaking the silence. "Are you okay? I just heard some loud sound outside, and was just wondering..." Okay, that was a completely week excuse. Well, it wasn't an excuse. She truly was kind of curious, but she also just wanted to do something. And here was some being, one that didn't seem completely busy with some other thing. Although, he was a bit busy, it seemed. Oh well. [/blockquote]

Okay, boredom not fun. What to do?, "Okay, time to get down to business." He looked at the computer, the blinky line was mocking him. He glared at it, "Stupid evil blinky thing." He said Leo put his hands on the key bored and started to type. Introduction to powers, flipping through his notepad. Le fulled it all in with his notes, it would make sense to him everyone else would be like what the heck. He always did this, him and his chicken stretch. He heard the sound of wings flipping, was it another angel? He got the holy vabe, other angels can sense other angels. Sitting back down, he threw another pencil this one in the ceiling.
"Hi,oh I'm fine. just writing my lesson plan." He said noticing the girl. His wings disappearing into his back, it was defense thing for him. "I'm Leo, your CYP teacher." introducing himself. He was trying to look professional the embarrassment so clearly on his face was not helping.
Walking across the room, he grabbed the pencil pulling it out of the wall. "I need my pencil, always use your pencil." he said smiling walking back to his desk. He forgot about the one in the ceiling, it fall down, his force field went up throwing the pencil to the ground making his wings come out. "Sorry about that. defense thing."

Jordan hadn't really expected to meet anybody in the classroom corridor, not even the teachers. Usually they were just hanging out in the teacher's lounge or something of the like. They weren't often in their classrooms, unless the were teaching or about to. They usually did their lesson plans in the teacher's lounge as well. Just something about hanging with other teachers when you did the lessons. It was somewhat odd to find the CYP teacher in his classroom. Then again, she had noticed that he was a bit different from some of the other teachers. They were all old and stuffy, and him? He was definitely younger, and most definitely not stuffy.
Although she was a fallen angel, she still had all her angelic abilities. The only thing, appearance-wise, that made her different from the true angels, were her wings. Instead of pure, angelic, holy white, it was black. A pure, ebony, and, apparently, unholy black. She didn't really care that she had "fallen from grace" as they called it. Hey, she had her wings, had her powers, even had the abilities that all angels naturally got, like the ability to sense another angel, fallen or not. And she had felt the presence of another angelic being as she had entered the corridor, and had also felt that the being was much holier than she. That could be a downfall to the whole fallen angel thing. While she could still sense other angels, she could also tell the difference between fallen and still pure angel. Something that she couldn't have done as a pure angel.
As she had entered, she had found the source of the angel. It was him. He was the angel. He hadn't noticed her standing at the door, and muttered some things to the computer that he sat at, and then threw a pencil in the ceiling. Okay. Weird. Right after she had spoken, though, his wings folded back, disappearing as hers already had. "Oh, okay." She had figured that, but that was no reason for that shout of excitement that she had heard. Or was it? Maybe. She hadn't seen what caused the shout, and she'd no mind of finding out. There was other things that could be better spent doing. "Well, I figured that much. What with you sitting at the teacher's computer, it could be generally assumed that you would be the teacher. I'm Jordan Bailey." Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to be sarcastic. What if he took it as being disrespectful? What if he could kill her with one look or something? That wouldn't be good. Oh, well. What wad done, was done.
And then, oddly enough, the teacher, Leo, he said his name was, walked to the wall, and pulled out a freaking pencil. Was that some sort of power? Or had that pencil been there? Why was the pencil in there in the first place? It had to have been there. If it were some kind of power, he wouldn't have had to walk to the wall to make one appear. Unless it was some kind of wall-pencil thing. Weird. "Uh...yeah. You should always have a pencil handy." She believed that, but it was still odd for him to take a pencil from the freaking wall. She always had a pencil on hand. As well as a sketchpad and a notepad. For drawing or writing. Writing lyrics, in particular. As he crossed the room, the pencil she had seen in the ceiling fell down. She was about the shout for him to move, but then....some sort of force field appeared around him. So that was one of his powers, it seemed. She also noticed that his white wings, shining all their idiotic holiness around the room, had come out. So it wasn't just her. Her parents had never used their powers, and Sam hadn't done anything around her, so she thought that she might have been the black sheep, having her wings come out when she used her powers. She shrugged. "That's okay. No problem." She knew that he sensed her being somewhat of an angelic being. She didn't know if he could tell the difference between fallen and not, though. She didn't want to pull out her wings, and maybe get thrown from the room for being dirty, for being unholy. Or some crap like that. [/blockquote]

Leo could tell she was a fallen, he knew the difference. No holy glow and no strong aura of pure and holy. "Its nice to meet you Jordan, yeah." He knew he was being captian duh. Leo didn't like the lounge and the other teachers he hadn't seen around. "You fall from grace?, your the second one I met." He said there was a bit of sadness in his voice. Leo had met a single angel that was not fallen since he came here. He was kinda sad about that, mainly cause fallen met you did something wrong. But what he know, maybe it just met you got black wings.
Although, he wasn't actually your typical angel. He wore t-shirt and jeans with old boots. Never used the holy light, that stupid thing that your holy glow like block out the sun. The younger kids thought it was cool. "Grab on to something." He said walking over to the fornt of the room, waiting until she grabbed on to something stready. He made a fist, taking a breath the room started to shake like an earthquake, a small one but enough to move furtinure. Stopping after he got the sofas where he wanted them. "Its easier, doing it that way than it does me moving them the regular way." He said

Well, he obviously was experienced enough to know the difference between angels and fallen angels. He conveyed this with a saddened tone. Yeah. She fell from grace. So what? It was her flipping parents faults. She didn't see why they didn't fall from grace with all their crappy fighting and driving her and her brother bonkers. They were the reason she fell to drinking. They had to keep on fighting, so annoyingly, every night. About what, she didn't even know. It was always about some crappy stuff. They didn't even care for her, obviously. They didn't even think to yell at her until she had completely fallen. They didn't care for her, didn't love her as they should. And yet, they were still pure angels? What the crap? "Yeah. I've fallen." She shrugged, indicating she didn't care what he thought of her. The second one? Well, she hadn't yet met another fallen at the school. Fate would probably throw them together sometime, anyways.
She had most definitely noticed he was different. Although he couldn't help but give off a holy glow, he didn't go crazy, and deliberately shine, like her parents did when she was but a young child. His dress of style was a bit different than other angels'. He didn't wear suits and ties, nor looked remotely dressed up. It was different. The males oftentimes wore lots of suits, looking nice, attractive. The females wore dresses, or at least skirts. And all their clothes were modest. There was never too much skin showing. But this guy, he wore a normal tee, and simple jeans. And his boots weren't all shiny, they were dull and old. Which actually looked kind of cool, really. She shuddered. The thought of a pure angel being cool. Ew. But he was better than the other angels he had met.
Then, he told he to grab on to something. It was odd, but he didn't do anything. Obviously, he seriously meant for her to grab something. She looked around, looking for something that was sturdy and could hold her weight, as well as not move. She grabbed onto the nearest, sturdiest thing she could see, and held on tight, as the ground below her buckled and heaved. Her eyes widened and she shouted in surprise at the first shake. The furniture around her moved as the ground beneath heaved, rumbling slightly in its effort. Finally, after it seemed forever, the shaking of the ground stopped, the furniture coming to rest on the ground. Sometime during the small earthquake, Jordan's knees had buckled and she was now on the ground, exhaling shuddering breaths. Holy crap. That would be a useful power against others. Some person could come running at him, and never reach him because the groun kept moving. He explained it, and it made some sense, but it was still extremely freaky. She only gulped and nodded, murmuring, "Yeah..." One thing that she would never want to experience ever, ever again. [/blockquote]

Leo didn't do that whole holy shine thing, it was stupid and he did that when he was young. During his crime fighting days, yes there was a time he did go around being the superhero. Almost got arrested someone mistaking him for the bad guy. He used his powers for good and nobody knew it was him. Like anyone would believe someone saw an angel and they saved their life. Or he got the robber, Leo liked the whole secret thing. It made things easier and he didn't need the fame. Did cause he wanted to help, it was in his nature.
"Sorry, the first time I did that my mother freaked." He laughed. "I wish I came to a place like this when I was young. In High school there was no one like me. Expect my family, but they didn't get it. Its why for awhile, I was a superhero. Seriously, full on hiding under the hooded sweat shirt and flying on out of there before anyone could see me." He smiled thinking about those days, probably why he couldn't fall from grace.
He didn't understand how you could fall, mainly cause fallen met you did something wrong. But what he know, maybe it just meant you got black wings. And Leo couldn't bring himself to fall from grace, that way or the old fashion way. Jump from the highest place the sky without your wings, wouldn't die just fall from grace.

He had arrived early that morning with the silver key on a necklace around his neck and his letter with his room number plus his classes on them. Thank god one of his classes was with his god father Leo which made him very happy. But he really didn't have any classes since he had only gotten there that day sometime, finding his room he looked around. His uncles had come with him to help their little nephew get settled in. Once alone and had said good bye to his uncles he got his cellphone and looked around making sure he had everything where he wanted it in his part of the room and didn't know if he would get any roommates or not. Slipping from the room he locked it behind him and went right to find his godfather.
It took him a while since the castle was huge and he kept getting lost and badly too, but asked some other kids were to find the CYP room, it took him a bit but he did find it. Peeking into the room seeing his uncle and someone else, he snuck in and went over to god father. He smiled and watched him to see what he was going. "Leoooooooo." Hunter had missed his god father greatly it had been a while since they had last seen each other.

The holy shine. The stupidest thing an angel could do. Weren't angels supposed to be selfless? And what did they do? They drew attention to themselves using some crappy shine. It was possibly the most idiotic thing on the face of the earth. Well, at least Jordan thought so. She did now, anyways. Sure, as a child, she enjoyed watching her mother and father do the shine thing. She thought it was absolutely amazing, the coolest thing on the face of the earth, then. But now, as an older, and fallen angel, she thought it was stupid. Of course, she couldn't do it now. As a fallen angel, that was one other thing that had happened, losing the idiotic shine thing. Of course, all angels, pure ones, had a sort of holy glow, holy aura, around them. Something that they couldn't help.
Jordan grinned when he said that he scared his mother when he did that. Funny. She couldn't imagine someone older, a teacher, really talking about his or her mother. It was an odd thought. People didn't think of older people actually having parents at all, that they were just parentless beings or some such thing. So it was odd hearing a teacher referring to his mom. He didn't come here? Well, now that she thought of it, this place was relatively new. Well, not the place, but the whole Academy deal. It wasn't that old, really. Sure, it had been here for a while, but it wasn't well known, for one, and not everyone with magical powers was known.
Okay, a superhero? Wow. That was something she definitely wouldn't have thought of. She would have never thought an angel would dress up, okay, in a hooded sweatshirt, and be a superhero. She would've thought that he would've appeared, without hiding, and go superhero on them. Then again, he had probably lived in a place really small, where everyone knew him, and no one knew of his powers. It was a different world out there, where people were scared of the truth, the hidden truth that people in the world did have powers. But still, she would've thought an angel wouldn't care. They definitely didn't care about the fact they made a shine to draw attention. Angels were such weirdos, really.
"You were a superhero? That's kind of weird. I suppose everyone thought they had some big savior or something?" Okay, maybe that was a bit too much sarcasm, but she couldn't help that fact. She thought the whole idea absolutely stupid. He was too much of a goody two shoes, it seemed. But he was still cooler than all the other angels she knew, considering her parents and their angelic friends. Ugh. Before she could say anything else, some guy burst in the door. She jumped, startled by the quick entrance of this new person. It was a guy, and he was kind of cute. He was an angel, she could tell. Oh great, another one. Hopefully, though, he wasn't so angelic purity as her parents were, and would think that she, a fallen angel, were trash. The guy said 'Leo', which was the teacher's name, excitedly. She took it that this guy knew the teacher, and was close to him, as well. Oh, she did hope that he wouldn't completely ignore her, or something. She hated people ignoring her, especially if it was because she was fallen. [/blockquote]

He turned his attention from Jordan to Hunter, Hunter is his God-Son. He was there the day Hunter was born, piratically was his Dad. Leo took care of the boy and protected his mother from nearly getting run over. "Hunter, come on in." He said calling the boy over. "Jordan, this is my God-Son Hunter. Hunter this is Jodarn." He said introducing the two, he gave Hunter a hug and pat on the back. "Its nice to see you got here in one piece" He said. Leo smiled messing up Hunter's hair a bit. "Yes, I was kinda. And must people didn't know what they saw. Others thought, I had come down from Heaven like I was a guardian angel."
Leo did cause he felt like it was the right thing to do. He had these gifts, he felt like he had to do something. "It was my way of understanding who I was. I didn't go to a place like this, where there where others like me." He explained Leo wasn't superman.

He was happy to see his God-father and went over to him once Leo had called him over he smiled. “Hey Leo.” Leaning against Leo he smiled and looked at Jordan “Hi Jordan it’s nice to meet you.” Hugging Leo back he smiled and was happy to be there in one piece and knew his mom would be relieved too. “Yeah mom will be happy about that as well that I got here in one piece.” Laughing when his hair was messed up he poked Leo in the shoulder and listened to the conversation and took off his backpack to put it onto a table next to him. Leo was the closet one to a father that he had since the day he was born and his own dad wasn’t all that great with him.
Hunter kept his wings away and wouldn’t let them out quite yet since he didn’t know Jordan all that well. From his backpack poked out a beautiful white rose he had gotten it that very day but he didn’t know from whom it came.

Jordan felt kind of odd, standing there. It was obvious the two people were close, family, probably. And she just felt like a third wheel, not wanted, and most definitely not needed. She hated being put out by others. Like she wasn't looked down on enough by the other angels, she sometimes had to be left out from other things. She didn't like that. She wanted to be known. It wasn't a thing from the angel-fallen angel thing, it was just how she was. She didn't like being left out, she liked being her crazy self, that sometimes drew a bit too much attention.
Jordan felt better when Leo introduced her to the boy. So, his name was Hunter, for one. And he was Leo's godson. Well, close enough to be family, anyways. A good friend of one of his parents, obviously. "Hi Hunter," she replied with a grin. Then, she was a third wheel again. The two were talking to each other, not to her. Ugh. She guessed that he could probably tell that she was fallen. Then again, he might not. Some of the younger angels couldn't tell the difference of angels with their sense. Fallen angels could, because they knew the difference, having already fallen. But the younger ones didn't. So this one might not recognize the different. Who knew?
"Well, most wouldn't. Humans don't really understand any of us that well. I mean, some of the people that didn't see it would probably claim any of those you saved were mad, having seen some type of angel. Only those that saw you would somewhat get what you were, but others still would dismiss it as a hallucination. They really don't want to believe in things like angels," she replied, sighing. It was true. Humans were such ignorant beings. Well, not the gifted humans. But regular ones were. They didn't want to accept such things existed. "Yeah, it makes sense. I don't know what I would've done if were not for this place." A bit of a lie. She wouldn't be able to live with her parents. Her stupid parents. Angels that fought with each other. How idiotic. She would've done something extremely drastic if it were not for this place, somewhere where she could get away from her parents. She dreaded going home all the time. She couldn't stand the place. Shaking those thoughts from her head, she looked over at the boy, Hunter. She wondered what he could do, briefly. He was different, that was for sure. She was wary of him, for he was an angel, and she didn't know what he would think of her. She had her wings hidden, of course. If he didn't know what she was, that was all good. Then, he wouldn't critisize her for it. She also wondered if he'd contribute anything to the conversation. Or maybe just start a new one. Anything was better than him just standing there, not speaking. [/blockquote]

He smiled at Jordan again and leaned still against Leo, looking a Jordan again he smiled. “How are you today Jordan?” Hunter didn’t treat people any differently and wouldn’t ever do it either, he was raised by his mom to never be mean to anyone it didn’t matter to him what they were just their heart and soul is what matter to him. Okay he knew the differences but pfft he really didn’t give a angel’s wing in space. Opening his hand a snow rose appeared and he held it out to Jordan for her to have. Listening to the conversation that he knew nothing about and just listened with his head tilted. Chewing on his bottom lip and opened his hand again a large and very yummy French vanilla cupcake appeared in it, sure Leo knew what he could do but Jordan didn’t he wanted for the making fun of him part to happen. “Even if we’re right under their noses they don’t and think we’re nothing at all.” Looking at his god father he leaned deeper into him, listening he knew what that was like he didn’t know what he would have done if Winterthorne wasn’t around or Leo either. For him growing up it had been difficult older kids making fun of him and making him feel awful but at Winterthorne he was happy and accepted not made to feel terrible for what he was.
