Just take these chances, we'll make it somehow Avery had rolled out of bed at the crack of dawn. No she hadn't been sleeping, she rarely slept. Hey eyes practically never closed. There were some perks to being the 'undead'. But no a plan had struck her at the crack of dawn while she was laying under the cold cover's of her nice bed. Never would they feel warmth unless someone with actual blood pumping through their veins sat one her bed or layed in it. And that was rare, unless her roomies were gossiping with her. Which wasn't as rare, but still she was never really in her dorm long enough to chat to anyone. But this idea...she texted blair at six in the morning telling her to be out at the gazebo in the courtyard by 6:30...possibly 7:00. She decided they were going to eat breakfast (not that they really needed the human food, but Avery liked to keep up normal appearances).
And over breakfast possibly plot something to do this school year. Mess with the young ones, prey on the cute boys, even schedule hunting times. As much fun as being at the school was the vampires were allowed off campus to go hunting at specific times. And no one at this point had scheduled specific hunting times. Of course the hunting times had to be kept low key from the other students. Mostly so that anyone non-vampiric wouldn't be offended by the innocent feeding on animals...they should be relieved they aren't feeding on humans. Avery may only feed on animals but she wasn't above feeding on humans. If the right person came along and pushed her buttons, they could become an untimely snack.
Not the point. It was early morning, and human food did seem to...calm the thirst for awhile. She had the kitchen aids cook up some scrambled eggs, toast, hashbrowns, orange juice, eggs(scrambled), and her favorite french toast. Of course Avery wasn't going to carry it all out herself She found a small freshman with telekinesis, and made them do the heavy lifting. Slightly mean...yes, but fear brings out the best of people. Avery was a weird one, nice and charming as can be one minute, and then ruthless and merciless the next. Really it depended on when she last fed. But that didn't matter now.
Ava sat in the gazebo putting the foods on her plate. Of course there was more than needed for just two people. Avery had gone a little overboard. But whatever, they had much to discuss, and it didn't matter to the red head if the food went to waste. Maybe they'd feel good natured and throw it to the bunnies in the forest...maybe. It was all on how she felt after breakfast...at practically the crack of dawn. Now all she had to do was wait for Blair to get out of her bed and trudge down the to the courtyard. For vampires sometimes they could be quite lazy.

Blair sat in her dorm room, her roommates have gone out. Where? Blair could only guess. She was bored, and that was extremely rare for a girl like Blair. See, with the power Blair possessed, she could possibly have anything she wanted at that moment. But she simply didn't want anything today. Except food. Blair loved food. Even though she was a vampire and only really need blood to stay alive, she just loved human food.
Blair sat in her room and ran a hand through her thick brunette hair, signing. She then felt her orange ENV vibrate in her pocket gently. She took it out and examined the new text message. She smiled to herself. Avery had invited her to the gazebo. be there in a few love! she texted back, her perfectly manicured fingers clicking gently against the mini-keyboard. It took her a couple of moments before she could actually heave her lazy ass up and get dressed. Blair got dressed in a simple dress and wore a long coat over, she was a bit overdressed for the occasion, but she didn't mind it. Blair hoped down the dorm stairs, skipping a step at a time.
Arriving at her destination, her black heels clicked gently on the ground. She half ran, half walked to the courtyard. Blair stood at a distance and watched as her best friend forced a freshman, with telekinesis obviously, to move the food she had prepared for there meeting. Blair chuckled at the sight. They could literally make anything they wanted, happen in a matter of minutes. But, then again, they did sort of rule the school. Plus, nobody knew except the girls obviously, but they were the gossip girls of the school. And Blair loved knowing everything about everything. It made her feel important.
Blair walked to the gazebo, the sound of her heels echoed in her mind. "Hey Avery" the brunette greeted her friend and sat down on the seat opposite of her. "How are you Hun?" she asked taking a piece of French toast from the basket. Blair nibbled at the end of it and waited for her friends response. Blair loved food, but no matter how much she would eat...she never gained an ounce. She guesses it just comes with the whole "vampire" thing.

Just take these chances, we'll make it somehow Avery felt her phone vibrate on her lap. She wiped her fingers on a napkin and checked the message. Oh lovely bestie texted her back. Damn straight she'd be here soon. She better be. Ava went back to filling her plate, of course she hadn't forgotten the fruits either. There were grabes, fresh strawberries (with chocolate dip, nothing goes better than blood and chocolate.) and some watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Even though she wasn't a great fan of honeydew. Vampires were indeed devilish creatures indulging on human foods all they wanted. Actually now that she thought about it, she hadn't been bitter about being a vampire in a long while. Possibly due to the fact that her best gal pal showed her the upsides, and perks of vampiric activities. Speak of the devil.
"Good morning Blair!" Avery greeted her happily. They had much to discuss. She watched her friend sit down and take the french toast. Avery knew her too well. "I'm perfectly peachy keen this morning. Hungry, but the human food won't exactly fix that as much as I'd like it to." She replied to the question. "And how are you this morning? Avery nodded her head to whatever her bestfriend was saying. She scooped up her fork and shoveled some eggs into her mouth. Her fangs obviously showing. Sometimes it baffled her how some freshman couldn't tell a vampire from and angel. Like the sharp fangs in their mouths didn't give it away. But that was right, Vampires and Angels had a certain beauty to them that other races couldn't match up to...for the most part. There were a select few who could, but it was rare. And then there was Blair and Avery. Both pretty teens when they were humans and after being turned became even more beautiful. Not to be so conceited...Avery usually tried to not spend a lot of her time looking in mirrors.
"So I call this little gathering Breakfast at Avery's." She smiled at the name. Cute and a play off of a movie title. How creative. "And I thought over breakfast we could talk about the upcoming school year. The Low down, and whatever else we may feel like planning this year." Avery always had a way of getting straight down to business. Of course the girls themselves could never have a discreet meeting, it didn't help that Ava had planned this outside in the courtyard where everyone could see, but they did have to keep up appearances. A lot of the younger kids looked up to them, the ruler's of the school. It's not really liked they planned their rise to power, it just sort of happened once they met. However it didn't matter now, that was the past this is the present and they needed to keep their power until they were gone, and possibly after they were gone. Blair and Avery, the social Highlights of the school.

Blair chuckled at Avery's response. It was true, human food never seemed to take away the thirst. "Tell me about it" she said and smiled. Blair took her spoon and examined the food, deciding what to take. But then, hearing Avery's question, she lost her concentration. "I am just fine right now, but we must arrange a hunting trip soon" she said and the edges of her lips turned into a small frown. Blair took out her compact mirror from her purse and examined her eyes. They were a blood red. "Yes we must, soon! I hate having this eye color, its soo....blah" she spoke taking one last look at her eyes and putting the compact mirror back into her prada purse.
Blair loved being a vampire. But, the one thing she hated was her eyes when she had the urge to feed. They always turned a blood red and stayed that was until she feed, and then they would return to there normal chestnut brown color. But, Blair couldn't deny it did have its advantages. Scaring the freshman into carrying her books, having the sophomores carry her lunch tray at lunch, and alot more. And Blair loved having control.
"HAHA, thats cute!" Blair laughed at the title of there little gathering. Blair took a spoon full of eggs and stuffed it into her mouth she swallowed and nodded at Avery. "Well, we have the ball coming up. we need to go shopping for masks and dresses also we need dates!" Blair laughed at the last one. As if there wasn't going to be a problem

Just take these chances, we'll make it somehow Avery just laughed at her best friend. Always so worried about the way she looked. They were vampires it's not like they had an blemishes or anything. They were perfect beings...who thrived on the blood of other beings. Possibly a very real threat to the whole school itself. They could take this school down, just the two of them, with one swift movement that was well planned. Not that they would, then where would they go. Out there...to the human world where there flawless ice cold school would be under constant examination until one day...oops! Their secret just slips. " Yes! We'll go hunting soon. I know your hunger pains...they are mine as well. I was thinking either tomorrow night or sunday night." Avery had gone off into thinking mode. She often did so.
Oh my gosh! The ball that's right. I totally forgot...well not really but almost." Avery had just been so all over the place lately she'd forgotten about the ball that her and Blair had gotten off the ground. Surely to be the talk of the school for awhile. Why wouldn't it be? Everyone was suppose to attend, it should be a blast! "Speaking of dresses and masks. I think I've found mine already. I've ordered it and it's on it's way here. It's very pretty I'm sure you'll love it. Except I'll have to make a few adjustments to it, because at one point it was to be a wedding dress so it has a train. I'll just have to hem it really..." No she didn't just gain knowledge of sewing and become an expertise on fashion just by being changed into a vampire. That skill set came with her being locked in her very own castle, and always watching her seamstress at work. Avery learned everything she could about the job and even helped out her seamstress sometimes.
Avery set back into working on the food. Drizzling syrup on her scrambled eggs, and french toast. Atleast it wasn't ketchup. Someone people do that you know, put ketchup on their eggs...sick. Atleast syrup was made to go on breakfast foods (granted ketchup goes very well with hashbrowns). "Anything else we need to go over. Any gossip that needs to be put out?" A smirk crossed Avery's face. The one thing the girls did rule at...ruining lives with their little gossip collumn of the school. They didn't really plan on ruining lives, it just happens when cheaters and wanna bes play the field. And Avery and Blair had scouts everywhere gathering information and sending it to the anonymous gossip girl phone.
