I'm giving it all back. All of it., well, that's what she wanted anyways. To jus, give it all up and go away. Far away. It was chilly up on the roof tops. Hugging a small blanket around her petite body, she looked over the castle and the surrounding areas. She could see far out into the distance, and a smile pulled across her lips. A wolf howled somewhere in the woods, and Kjara put her hands to her lips and howled back in reply. After a few seconds of her howling, more and more wolves joined in the wolf song. "Sing the song to the stars my brothers." she whispered to herself as the howls softly recedded into the distance. Join the hunt. that's all she wanted to do. But she was to never go near a wolf pack again. She could not loose control. "Have fun, my People."
Reaching into he back pocket, she pulled o ut a little black object with headphones on it. Plugging them in her ears, she turned on her Zune, and started to play the song, "Only Hope" from a sad movie, a Walk To Remember. Her musical voice filled the air as she closed her eyes and sang. Scared that somebody was around, she softly sung to herself. But something was bothering her. She turned off the Zune and put it away, not really wantng to hear a human voice, but to just listen to Nature's own little lullably. She closed her eyes and lay completly flat uopn the slte and lay her hands on her stomach. she had a simple white spagetti strap tank top on with a small pair of cheerleader shorts and socks on. The whip scars on her back shown brightly pink along with every other scar that lay across her dark skinned body.
Twidling her thumbs, she slowly opened her eyes to look up at the stars. Nights like this is what made her love Earth. Cold winter nights were her favorite time of the day. The sky was clear, the moon was full, and she didn't have to worry about being in the sun. It hurt her eyes at times, and she felt more comfortable in darkness. No one could see her clearly. But in the moonlight, her hair seemed to glow a golden color, and her dark skin with the contrast to her hair stood out. She looked at the constalations in the sky, naming a few of them. " Scoripion. Little and Big Dipper, the Dragon." she knew most of them already. The stars and moon were one of her most favotie things to study. Well, basically putting it, Kjara loved everything about Earth. The animals, the beautiful places. She loved everything. Thats one of her flaws. She trusts and loves everything.
Closing her eyes, she fiddled with the gold band around her finger and felt a tear fall out of her eyes. " I hate it here Momma." she said to the stars. Wiping the tear away, she sniffled and tried to hold back sobs.

It was another sleepless night to the the demon, well, not entirely, he had been able to sleep for a couple of hours before waking up like it had been ten or more. The older he got the less he slept, he guessed he would reach a time in life where sleep would turn out to be just an option, he guessed it would be a characteristic of the demon species. Sitting on the window, he watched the motionless school grounds and grey forest, nothing was happening besides the sound of wolves howling, strangely enough, one seemed to be coming from above him, more precisely, the roof top. He ignored it and ran his fingers through his hair as he leaned back only wearing his pajama's pants, his defined upper body shinning against the moonlight. The cold had no effect in him what so ever.
Some minutes passed, his head leaned back against the cold wall and his light blue eyes staring at the large full moon above him. Then, a girl singing caught his attention and once again, the noise came from the roof top. Standing up, he jumped out of the window with his arms opened, for some seconds, he just let his body fall, feeling the piercing cold breeze against his body. When his face was about to hit the ground, he disappeared.
" I hate it here Momma."
"You'll see it's not that bad" he claimed with a warm tone, William was now sitting with his legs crossed on the stone railing, his eyes on the moon once again and his arms also crossed. It was almost impossible to keep in that position if it weren't for his powers but he managed to make it look rather natural. He recognized the girl right away, it had been the same that he had seen a couple of days ago when he was talking with professor Leo. "You'd be rather surprised by how many people hate it here when they start" he added now moving his head slightly to look at the girl.

Kjara jumped when she heard a voice beside her. She slid a bit down the roof, and caught herself before she could go totally off. Holding her hand to her thudding heart, she took a deep breath while looking at the boy. It was William. " Great Mother, give someone a heart attack." trembling slightly, she got comfortable again, as she thought of his words. " I don't think I could get used to it. It's so.. I dunno. Not home. I mean, the castle is like home, but.. it doesn't have that spark in it." she shook her head looking away form William. She had to look away, or she wouldn't be able to stop herself from staring. She took a deep breath again to clear her head, and looked at Will from the corner of her eye. "So what grade are you in? I'm a sophomore." yeah, wasn't that great, she was fifteen and in the tenth grade. Well, technically tenth. She never really liked school, and didn't usually count herself a student.
Studying his features, she found that William was extremely attractive. Dirty brown hair, nice blue yes. Oh gods. Kjara's heart began to beat. He has the eyes. Usually, if a guy had attractive eyes, Kjara would be totally wacko bout it. She loved a persons eyes. she didn't find her own attractive. Just.. normal. Well, it wasn't normal around her part of town. It was never even heard of. But there has been people with different colored eyes. Usually it would come out blue and brown. Or something like that. Let's just say, if she had a boyfriend, he had to at least have nice eyes.
And that wasn't everything William had. Kjara noticed that William had no shirt on. He had a nice figure, most likely better than hers. Looking down at her flat stomach, with a small mound where her belly ring was, she flushed. Her face was getting warm, and she looked in another direction. When you see her react like this, you would think Kjara was unexperienced at sexual intercourses. But, when you got to know her, you would know wrong. She was definitely not unexperienced. She has had her times, but no like the usual teens. Only with her now dead fiance. And that doesn't include her rape. She trembled at that thought. She felt as if those rough hands were all over her again, pushing, prying, and even beating her. She felt her bottom lips, as if she could still feel the blood rushing from it.
Taking a deep breath, she tried not to think of those thoughts. She then turned back to William, a sort of a smile on her face, her hair tousled as if she just woke up.
done. =]

" Great Mother, give someone a heart attack."
William laughed ever so lightly at her reaction, he was so used to people asking him the same thing that it reached a point that it wasn't as funny as it was in the beginning. He loved to be able to teleport, he didn't knew why but it gave him a sense of power that even the superhuman strength didn't, there weren't a lot of people with that same skill so he was rather glad to have it, he could make great entrances without people expecting him to. "Sorry" he said in a soft tone.
" I don't think I could get used to it. It's so.. I dunno. Not home. I mean, the castle is like home, but.. it doesn't have that spark in it."
"It rather depends on much you wanted to come here, it takes longer for those that had been forced to leave their home because of their powers or like some might say....weirdness" he stated with a warm smile, luckily to him, the choice to go to Winterhorne had been his, his parents didn't even knew the whole concept of the school, for them was just a normal boarding school, he wasn't able to admit he was a demon when they both were regular humans, it would be way too much too handle and that joined with the fact his twin sister was an angel even made things more difficult to swallow. "I have to say, I love it here. I don't feel out of place. I feel like I belong here. The humans aren't able to fully comprehend and respect what's different so it's better for us to stick together instead of trying to fight the world alone" he stated. He knew if his parents knew about his powers, they wouldn't kick him out or make him feel uncomfortable, no, but overall it would make things slightly strange and for strange, they already had he and his sister.
"So what grade are you in? I'm a sophomore."
"Senior" he replied simply, it was his last year there and after that, he would have to face the world. At least then, he would control his powers and be able to live a normal life without them getting in the way, well, besides his immortality...that would be rather noticeable.

Smiling, she nodded. "It's okay." she shoook her head, her hand clutching her still thudding heart. " Just gave me a bit of a scare. I forgot you can teleport. Must come in handy."
The thing that caught her ears was "weirdness". " Yeah, well, my 'weirdness' is what got me into his blooddy mess. Uncontrollable emotions, strange moodiness. Murder." at that word, she layed her chin on her knees and pulled off her blanket from her back and wrapped it around her blue painted toes.
" But, technically, I am human. I feel like the only human here. Almost everyone else is vampires, angels, demons, and werewolves." she laughed at that, all the while shaking her head. " But I inderstand what you mean. I mean, where I used to live wasn't home really. I will never be home. Ever since my mother died, it's all the same."
"Senior". Great. His last year here, she thought. Why did she always have to have good taste in guys who were older? Ugggh. she moaned to herself. "Like he's intrested in you anyways.." she whispered to herself. For only a second, she forgot that he was there. Tensing up, she turned her head to see that, yeah, well, he was there. Cussing under her breath, she felt her face get hot and she shook her head. Great going dumb ass. she said to herself. Changing the conversation, she tunred to him, the blush still fresh on her cheeks. "So are you actually eighteen or are you like.. one hundred years old or something?" she smiled and laughed at that thought. That would be kind creepy. An old guy in a hot mans body. Kjara laughed to herself.
