x I just got to get it right Before I make it wrong Cause I'm breaking out and rising up While the world is falling down... "A cup of coffee please" he asked politely with a charming smile to the woman behind the counter. It was early in the morning and a coffee was much needed, not because he wasn't fully awake his body was just asking for some caffeine and he loved the taste of it. He usually drank around 4/5 a day and it seemed that the fact he was a demon canceled the effect it should have on him, so, it didn't do any harm, besides, he figured being a demon meant immortality so it wasn't like any addiction he might have would kill him."Thank you" he claimed as the lady handed him the cup filled with hot coffee. Before walking away from there, he turned his head and looked around, the place was quite empty so he had a lot to chose from. He didn't take long to walk to the empty table further from the door.
William wasn't a loner, far from it, he loved being the center of attentions but at that moment, that didn't seemed very important, he just wanted to enjoy a hot drink peacefully. Placing the cup on the table, he sat down with his legs crossed and his body leaned back on the chair in a very formal posture. Taking the cup to his lips, he took a very small sip from the liquid and placed it back on the table, waiting for it to cool down a little.

devon let out a small sigh as he shuffled into the cafeteria. he wanted his usual milk for breakfast. he would have some blood later when he could be bothered. but right now, he was craving a lovely bit of ice cold milk. he was sure to get the strange looks as per usual, but it was a normal occurrence for devon to come in early and get milk. he wasn't addicted, but he wouldn't say no to one. "c-can i have a-a glass of m-milk p-please?" devon stuttered out to the lady behind the counter, who just smiled warmly and nodded. biting at his lip softly, he looked around as he waited. spotting a boy sat over on his own who was... cute. there was really no other word for him. he was cute.
the milk was ready and devon took it with a shy smile and a stuttered thank you. but now where to sit. he didn't know the boy, so it wasn't like he could go sit with him. but maybe it would be rude not to sit with the boy. devon didn't know. so he decided to not sit with the boy, but near him. after all, devon didn't know what this boy was. he hoped he wasn't one of those stupid little fairies. but the boy didn't seem particularly fairy like. sitting down on a table that was across from the one that the mysterious boy was sat at, he sipped at his milk and gave a soft sigh. ahh, beautiful.

x I just got to get it right Before I make it wrong Cause I'm breaking out and rising up While the world is falling down... William moved the cup in circles slowly as he waited for it to cool down, it was rather stupid to burn his mouth with coffee. Not many people entered the room after him, he saw a couple of wizards walking by, a werewolf and a human. It was fun trying to figure out what each student was and not that easy either, he knew what those were because they had been in the school almost as long as he did. Winking to some and nodding with a smirk to others, William greeted almost every student as they did the same, the young De Luca was very well known, if not by his looks then for his personality, he was extremely wealthy and the way he dressed (suits) was completely different of any other students. Picking up the cup of coffee, he took it to his lips and poured it down his throat, leaving a burning sensation on the way.
As he placed the cup back on the table, he raised his head slightly to see a boy sitting across from him on another table. The boy didn't seemed familiar but that wasn't reason not to greet him. With a charming smile he winked and leaned forward, placing both his elbows on the table and joining his hands in front of his face. The skin tone and the good looking features he figured the boy was a vampire, but he couldn't know for sure.

devon hated seeing people around that he didn't know. and there were a lot of people he didn't know around here. mostly because he kept himself to himself, but also because he hadn't been here as long as many of the students had been. all in all, devon wasn't finding this place too bad. it the city it was easier to get a meal. people seemed to be more willing, which devon found strange. but hey, he wasn't complaining. if he got a meal quickly and without fuss, there was no problem.
while devon swished his milk in his glass, he looked up to see the boy looking at him. devon's eyes quickly looked away, not wanting to be caught staring. but hell, he couldn't help but look up again, but this time he caught a smile and a... wink? wait... the boy was winking at him. devon looked around to see if it was possible he was looking and winking at anyone else, but it seemed he was the only one around here, apart from a group of fairies over in the corner giggling. devon tilted his head a little and nibbed furiously at his lip. the boy looked familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it... hmm.

x I just got to get it right Before I make it wrong Cause I'm breaking out and rising up While the world is falling down... William found the boy's reaction quite amusing, the way he moved his head to one side and the other, seemingly searching for the person he had winked at and then the bitting of the lip. People that knew him would know that that was just the way he greeted people and the way he acted with everyone, he loved to flirt, boy or girl, he flirted with everyone and that was the main reason why he usually got whatever he wanted.
"Good Morning" he greeted with his charming smile and his light blue eyes staring at the boy's, he was rather surprised he was drinking plain milk, without anything else, that wasn't something one would usually see a vampire doing but well, everyone had their own tastes.

devon felt nervous as he felt the boy watching him. it wasn't exactly a bad thing that the boy was looking at him, actually it was rather flattering. but it still made devon nervous as he brought his glass to his pink lips. sipping at the cool white substance, loving the way it made his fangs tingle a little. he couldn't help but wonder what the other was drinking. it looked to be maybe coffee, or tea? hmm. coffee was nice, but he always seemed to burn his tongue. and it wasn't fun trying to feed when you had a burnt tongue. it hurt.
"good morning" devon's eyes shot up at the greeting, from his milk, to the boy sat a small way in front. his eyes widened slightly, and he tilted his head a little, gulping. "h-h-hey..." devon stuttered. biting his lip as he stared back at the boy. sharing a small nervous, shy smile. no teeth though. he wanted to know what the boy was first before he showed he was a vampire. what if this boy was a werewolf...? the only werewolf he knew and liked was fletcher, but he was an exception.

x I just got to get it right Before I make it wrong Cause I'm breaking out and rising up While the world is falling down... William laughed gently at his reaction, he seemed to be quite uncomfortable with the situation, maybe it would be better not to say anything, the last thing he wanted was to create an awkward moment, so, instead of saying something else he just nodded with a warm smile and turned his head slightly to the side, moving his attention to the outside where the frozen lake could be seen through the window. It was a question of respecting the other's space, if the boy in front of him didn't want to engage in any kind of conversation, then William wouldn't force it, he had been taught manners since a young age and even though one should be social, he shouldn't push people into conversations that didn't please them.
Taking another small sip of his coffee, Will moved a piece of paper that laid in front of him on the table with his telekinetic powers and started making it change shapes, more specifically, origami. It was almost impossible to follow it's movements and soon enough, a goose shaped paper floated in front of him, with a smile he made it flat once again and started making another thing, this time it was abstract but still very well made.

Melody sighed as she walked into the large room. Walking over to the counter and smiling at the lady sweetly. In a few short moments she walked back into the center of the room and looked around. Finally setting up in a seat near a large window. Taking out her journal, pen and laptop out from her bag. Flipping through her journal while sipping slowly on the hot chocolate. She set the cup down and wiped her mouth with the back of her sleeve. She was still in her pajamas, just with hair combed and pulled back in a fast ponytail. It was curly and bouncy as it normally was in the morning, and it made her bangs seem strange, as they were dead straight. She sighed as she pulled her long sleeves over her knuckles and sank into her seat. Tired and freezing. As Melody slowly sat up straight, she looked at her journal and propped it up against her cup. Turning to her laptop and typing what she saw on the page. She normally kept a piece of paper and pen by her bed, and found that sometimes while sleeping, she wrote her dreams down on it. She sighed at this particularly sad one. The sun was hot as it blazed through the large room in which two girls sat, one 15, the other 9. As the peoples faces became clear. One was an ill girl who looked up at the one propped on her knee next to her with sickly eyes. Coughing or sneezing all at once. Causing the older girl to sob even harder then she already was. Bouncy brown curls covered her face and stuck to her cheeks as she seemed to try and say something as the door suddenly slammed open and a large man walked in. Grabbing Melody by her hair and picking her up as the girl screamed out in pain. The man sneering at her tears and said "Foolish girl, she's a dead one. Just got her foot stuck in the door." And throw Melody off to the side as she screamed "YOU'RE WRONG!" Through her tears "SHE'S GOING TO BE ALRIGHT" The man turned and sneered as a large illuminant figure in the shape of a women appeared out of the white tiled cieling and the room fell silent, a large white figure appearing above the little girl as both the figures dissipated back up into the cieling. Leaving only the loud and continuous blare of the hospital heart monitor. Melody sighed and wiped at an escaping tear as she slowly closed the computer. Picking back up her hot chocolate and sipping again, feeling the warm trickle down her throat.

devon frowned as he heard a laugh come from the other, looking back down at the milk in his hands, the frown still upon his pale face. he didn't understand what was so funny. was the other laughing at his stutter? if so, devon was upset. he didn't understand what was so funny about people stuttering. it wasn't funny. didn't they understand how horrible it was, not able to talk smoothly, no matter how hard devon tried he couldn't. he never had been able to. it was something he was unfortunately stuck with, and it hurt that people laughed at him. or maybe he was reading too far into the small laugh. looking up he saw the warm smile, and devon smiled back shyly. so maybe he was wrong? maybe he was blowing this all out of proportion... just being paranoid. oh well.
devon looked back down and took another sip of milk, feeling awkward in the silence that ensued. wasn't he worth talking to? devon sighed and looked back up at the other, smiling as he saw what the other was doing. the paper shapes were extremely cool. and devon felt the need to try it too. seeing as devon had the very same power of telekinesis that it seemed the boy did. getting the napkin that the woman had so thankfully given him he focused on trying to make something. but it wasn't going well. giving up he let the napkin flutter down and he sighed. looking over to the boy. "h-how do y-you d-do that?" devon asked softly. hoping the boy wouldn't laugh at him again or anything of that sort. devon looked around again, and saw a girl over in the corner, with a laptop. hmm... but he wouldn't say anything. he'd leave that to mr.charmer over there.

x I just got to get it right Before I make it wrong Cause I'm breaking out and rising up While the world is falling down... William continued creating figures and shapes out of the piece of paper, a few years ago he wouldn't believe if anybody told him he would be able to control his power so well in the future. At that time every time he tried to move some kind of object, the most normal thing that happened was it flying at full speed towards a wall or someone that stood in between, the mind wasn't something easy to use. Today, he was not only able to control it freely without much effort but he was also able to use it on himself, making then possible for him to fly, why do we need wings when we have telekinetic powers? This time, the paper turned into a plane and it floated with his back turned to him in front of his lips, blowing gently, the paper plane flew around the room and William noticed as it went in the direction of a girl with a laptop before the boy in front of him caught his attention when speaking to him.
"h-how do y-you d-do that?"
With a gentle smile, he drank the rest of the coffee from the cup in front of him and as the cup touched the surface of the table, William disappeared to appear sitting on the chair across from the boy in his table "It's not something I could possibly teach you in some minutes" he stated as he grabbed the piece of paper and started folding it "First, you need to know how to do it without your powers..." he said before raising a goose shaped piece of paper in front of him with a grin "It's called - Origami - is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. Cool name, lame explanation don't you think?" he teased winking to him and handing the origami to the boy.

it was amazing to devon to see someone who could use their power's so... easily. especially telekinesis. the lowdown of the situation was, devon sucked at trying to make things move with his mind. the sophomore guessed that was because he wasn't so knowledgeable with his power yet. in a way, seeing this boy doing it so easily, it made devon feel kind of jealous in a way. so many shapes were made of the small piece of paper. and devon smiled as the boy made a paper plane fly around the room. devon guessed that he himself wouldn't be able to do that. it would probably just shoot into a wall and fall to the floor.
devon was shocked as the boy was suddenly beside him. he jumped and looked around with wide eyes. way to give a vampire a heart-attack? could vampire's actually have heart-attacks? devon doubted it. before devon had chance to ask 'what the hell?', the boy was already speaking about the paper. devon said nothing and only nodded. he didn't know what it was but this boy was kind of... intimidating to devon. with his strange moving in the blink of an eye. taking the origami with a shy smile he looked at it in his hands. before putting it on the table and concentrating, trying to lift it. damn thing didn't move an inch. growling a little devon pushed it with his hand instead. "stupid f-flipping p-power!" devon groaned. he wondered if he would ever be able to control it.

Laughing lightly he shook his head gently "Don't worry, it gave me quite the headache in the beginning to be able to control it easily." he claimed, it was true, he had had so much trouble to be able to control such ability, the other had came quite easily, teleporting gave a little work but not as much as telekinesis, but he had to be honest, he loved the power. "Concentration is the key, you have focus on the object and on what you want to do with it, you'll see, soon enough you'll be able to turn cars into small metal boxes." after a while, the weight of the objects started to lose importance, if one could lift a cup with his mind, he could also lift a tree or anything really, the first few steps were the hardest, after that, it was just a question of practicing.
"By the way..." he stated turning his gaze to the boy "The name is William" he introduced himself as he extended his hand politely. He was rather enjoying the boy's company, although shy, he wasn't gloomy or full of themselves like most of the students in that school.

devon looked up at the new acquaintance with wide eyes. so maybe he wasn't such an idiot as he thought. others had issues when they had begun. maybe one day he would be good enough to do stuff like the boy had just done. devon hoped anyway. it would be nice for things to just fly into his hands, or fly away, whichever suited him best. concentration? what did the boy think he was doing? "i d-do concentrate, j-just n-nothing seems to h-happen." devon sighed, shrugging a little. he always concentrated as hard as he could on the object and where he wanted to move it to. it just never did it.
devon gave a shy smile as the boy introduced himself, biting his lip as he stared at the hand extended to him for a moment, before shaking it as offered. "i'm d-devon." now seemed like the perfect time to ask william what he was. devon could tell he wasn't a vampire, but he couldn't put his finger on what he actually was. "w-what are you?" devon asked softly, biting at his lip once again.

Melody jumped up as a man walked by, about her age. Obviously late for something and it ultimately, woke her up from her daydream. She sighed and closed her laptop. throwing the cup into a nearby trashcan with a satisfied -gulp- of the last drop. She looked around as she overheard two guys talking and edged into a seat closer, a few feet away. Turning on her slow computer and pretending to check her e-mail as she listened in nosily. As the boy introduced himself she peered over her laptop and smiled. closing it with a click she said. Being only a table over. "Hi!" She chimed cheerfully. Her grin covering her face. "Hate to intrude. But- I suppose being new here and knowing no-one I'm going to have to live with it." She teased slightly. "I'm Melody" She explained why she suddenly attacked the two. She was basically bored as hell and could remember the name 'Devon' from somewhere. Oh well, what was there to lose other then two guys hating her in this stupid place?

William watched the frustration of the boy and laughed lightly "Well, that's why you're here, in time you'll learn to use the power easily" he reassured him with a charming smile as he shook his hand when the boy told him his name with a shy smile. "I'm a Demon" he replied simply with a grin, normally people thought of him as anything but a Demon, many thought he was a vampire or an angel because of his good looks or even a human when nothing else crossed their minds, but a demon, that was never their first guess. "You're a Vampire right?" he asked almost rhetorically, the boy was extremely attractive and had a pale tone, that was normally the characteristics of a vampire.
"Hi!" // "Hate to intrude. But- I suppose being new here and knowing no-one I'm going to have to live with it."
With an eyebrow raised, he stared at the girl for some moments before laughing lightly "Hi!" he replied with a warm smile "No problem, me and Devon here just met so I think I talk for both of us when saying you're welcome to join us" looking from the boy back to the girl "It's a pleasure to meet you Melody, I'm William and this is... Devon" he made a gentle movement with his hand toward the boy.
